Question for baby trap au: how did everyone take the news that Shockwave was carrying and Jazz was the sire(cuz I think it'd be funny to see how the reactions from the Bots, Cons, Bumblebee and Soundwave would differ)

Mixed feelings: Bumblebee, Optimus, Prowl.
Neutral: Blackarachnia, Blitzwing, Ratchet.
Negative feelings: Lugnut and Megatron.

For BlitzPrime and ShockJazz: Who would be the better caretaker if the other partner was sick?
This is very easy for ShockJazz: Shockwave, no question about it. He has raised 1 sparkling alone and 1 sparkling with Jazz as a babysitter, so very used to doing everything anyway. If Shockwave was the sick one then Jazz would have to deal with doing everything along with Shockwave backseat driving the whole time. Not a good time for anyone but Dubstep who gets to spend more time with her sire.
For BlitzPrime the better one of the two is probably Blitzwing on the technicality that he is more adaptable to whichever situation he finds himself in. However he is the worst sick person ever, Optimus has to bat him away because they keep deciding "I need to do things" when they really shouldn't. When Optimus gets sick he only admits it when he literally passes out so Wings usually fronts so it's not fretting 1 and 2 doing it.

BlitzPrime pitch: What if an responsible adult had a midlife crisis and decided to get with a war criminal and this works out surprisingly well until it Doesn't.
ShockJazz pitch: Introvert gets adopted by Extrovert but whoops turns out being someone's 1 friend when that person is kinda evil comes with Consequences.
I adore and treasure how bliztop and shockjazz are just two autobots pulling bad bitches like damn one's a powerful triple-changer who is insane (in general and FOR Op) and another is a scary shapeshifter who can and will turn someone into a puppet/destroy an entire fraction slowly to have a whole family. Do Optimus and Jazz ever just sit down for a drink and be like ...whoa? O.O
ps I imagine if the day shockjazz 'accidentally' have a sparkling together, the War just takes a break because Shockwave cannot have that in the background
Post-Calculated Love they have support meetings of "in a relationship with a Decepticon" in order to deal with habits that make others look at them like they're going to die. (Blitzwing conflict resolution being "fight to the death" while Shockwave is. Himself.)
Also that is so true ShockJazz sparkling is gonna grow up in peace times and Primus help anyone who tries to stir the pot.
