Dear Alice, I'm not sure what to say because I feel like I'm always overwhelmed with my emotions when I think about what an amazing person you are. You are bold, strong, unique, kind, compassionate and a very beautiful human being-inside and out. Raavi thinks Shiva is not fighting for their relationship and that he gave up on her. What she doesn't know is that he's been fighting for far too long. He fought the world for her, he fought his family and took all the blame on himself, he let everyone say whatever shit they wanted to say to him, he let her think whatever she did because he wanted to give her space and let her have time to come to herself after the dreadful trauma of trying to commit suicide on the shaadi day. He respected her enough to let tell her "darr mat. Ladne nahi aya hu. Lad lad ke thak gayi hogi" but at the time she was too overwhelmed with everything and failed to see that he HAS been trying hard in this marriage- not just to save their relationship, but to SAVE HER. He never cared about what anyone said about him but he cares about what Raavi thinks about him. He DOESN'T have an inferiority complex 😒 He just sees himself as she did. She admits she did. They were never able to communicate their feelings to each other but it wasn't their fault. Not Shiva, not Raavi's. He fought the world, he fought her, he fought himself.. How he knows she is feeling pained and how he knows how things affect her. And I think it's really more beautiful that he tries to make her smile, reassures her & comforts her. He knows Raavi has never had a parent's love. Despite not having the same kind of parental love himself, he knows the value of a mother, of a brother or sister in Raavi's case. I wanted them to play kiston on them since ages but more than that the conversation we got today was so beautiful! Not just any conversation, one we've been waiting for, for a year. It was always a dream to see Raavi's abandonment issues being addressed in the show, but I never thought it would be done so beautifully. Also, HE KISSED HER! Like I was telling my friend Subu, Raavi may have done it MORE times & she may be outwardly bold but Shiva is the one who always takes the first step. It's canonically established. The only reason he fumbles is because he's not used to being vulnerable around someone. But when it comes to showing love? There is no one like Shiva Pandya. He tells her that she can find whoever she wants in him, he knows she was orphaned as a mere baby and didn't have a real family growing up. He's always stepped up for her and he'll always step up for her. Shiva keeping a fast for Raavi, him protecting her once again, Shiva doing parikrama around his Ma, ShiVi being blessed by Lord Ganesh (in my interpretation)>>>>> Absolutely living for today's scenes 😭💖 The only thing I'm bitter about is that they didn't last longer!! 😕 I think the show really has potential with Shiva and Raavi's character especially if they mend the relationship between ShiVi and Suman. In a proper way. I really want to see Suman ki ladli Raavi and Suman ka ladla Shiva. There is so much potential here!! Raavi being an orphan, who has never had a proper mother figure in her life, finally has someone she can call Ma. Not just "Masi- Ma" or "Kaki Ma" but actually Ma. And Shiva-Suman bond has always been something that I've loved. Even when I hated it. Perhaps it's because of how powerful performers @kanwardhillon_ & @kruttika_desai ma'am are. Them sharing the screen together is definitely bound to get you all up in your emotions in some way or the other. I also feel some sort of way about the fact that Shiva and Raavi have been blessed by the Gods. Shiva's efforts, his love and devotion has finally been recognised- even when he was not recognised by his family or when the person he loved couldn't see the reason behind his actions, the Lord knows and knew Shiva is pure by heart. He witnessed their journey. From Kawad Yatra to this pooja and perhaps, even from day one. Shiva and Raavi are finally happy together and united for life... And in my head, the heavens rejoice in the same way that they did when Shankar & Parvati united. Something I've always maintained is that Shiva is a man of actions, not words. He is a doer, not a sayer. And most of all his actions always do speak louder than his words>>> I'm really elated to be able to watch this version of Shiva who stands by his wife's side with full haqq, who doesn't hesitate to take a step forward every time she asks for something, who relinquishes all his control only and only for her. I enjoy watching him try to get closer to her, to tease her or simply get lost in her eyes.
