And I think I treaded for a year waiting for you. And I think a part of me loved watching you wade beneath the surface and a part of me loved waiting. But a bigger part of me got impatient. And I’d see how close you were, how the surface’s tension was beaming and waiting for you to break it. But we both know you weren’t ready to come up for air quite yet.

i’m always going to miss you. I’m always going to be fond of these hundreds of memories that will continue to bring tears to my eyes as I bring them forth with too much weight. I may always love you.
