Reading the fellowship and a cute detail of hobbit culture i dont see talked about often is that on their birthdays they gift OTHER PEOPLE presents!
I think its really sweet to think of Sam worrying about what to get Frodo and the rest of the fellowship when it comes to his birthday,, and Pippin panicking and doing it all last minute.. like he does!
I think Merry is an impeccable gift giver, very thoughtful, i think he takes lots of time picking something for Eowyn especially!
