the far meridian 1x08: a fine figure. everyone should listen to this show imo but EVERYONE should listen to this episode. i remember specifically where i was when i listened to it and i burst into tears at the end it was so so so good
ars paradoxica 16: plasticity. that song makes me cry every time
wolf 359 special: change of mind. yes, itâs a 2.5 hour long special, but it is incredible, top to bottom.
wtnv live show #2: condos. was actually really important for teen me to hear that perfection doesnât mean Perfection, yknow?
campaign 80-81. i come back to these episodes on bad days. they make me laugh and cry every single time.
neoscum 19: night shift. god holy shit where to even start. this episode is everything i love about this show, from the way itâs edited to the way itâs performed. (âi love you, where ARE youâ never fails to get me.)
song exploder: new brighton by nakhane ft. anohni. this is the only nonfiction episode on this list but itâs just phenomenal. new brighton is a pop song about hope, but the story behind it is from a man grappling with history and faith and colonialism. and also it features the isolated vocals of anohni, an african trans woman, singing proudly WE WILL NEVER LIVE IN FEAR AGAIN. itâs so good and powerful and moving.
the adventure zone, balance: 48 (the eleventh hour, pt 8). i remember seeing a couple friends who listened to the show wailing over this episode, and i listened to it and i wailed too.
friends at the table, marielda: the city of light, pt. 1-2. it was my first exposure to the show and i was awed by the music, and by the thoughtfulness that went into the worldbuilding. it was SO much fun.
the magnus archives 86: tucked in. the blanket never did anything.
also i could never pick a single episode of greater boston, but it is an absolutely fucking incomparable show and iâd be remiss if i didnât say so.
