When Hanzo was 26 and Genji 23, their father was assassinated by the hashimoto, making Hanzo leader of the clan

Two years later when Hanzo was 28 and Genji was 25, Hanzo attempted fratricide due to pressure from the clan elders, but overwatch saved Genji without his knowledge.

When Hanzo was 30 and Genji 27 the blackwatch and scion skins take place, so Genji was only in blackwatch for maybe a year and a half at best before the rialto incident, if you include healing from his injuries and getting used to his body. Hanzo leaves during this time because of the guilt that weighed on him (as far as I know)

I'm not sure when but soon Overwatch disbands and Genji meets Zenyatta on his travels and he helps him with the resentment and anger he held due to his brothers betrayal. I'm pretty sure Hanzo was wandering as an assassin then? I'm not too up to date about that

At 38 and 35 is when they meet again in the cinematic dragons, that doesn't need much explaining.

And now they're 40 and 37. Hanzo is part of the yokai clan lead by Kiriko, and Genji is ofcourse a part of overwatch.

My sources are the story where honor lives and their Canon ages(+stuff said in interactions or stories). In classic overwatch it's stated it's been 10 years since Hanzos attempt on Genjis life, and that is when they meet again, and now they're 40 and 37 according to the overwatch website.
