Echoes of a Broken Bond - final chapter update
Warning: No archive warnings apply Rating: Explicit Relationship: Adrien Victus/Female Shepard Characters: Female Shepard, Garrus Vakarian, Adrien Victus, Normandy Crew Other tags: POV Third Person Limited, POV Multiple, Flashbacks, Heartbreak, Angst, Drama, Romance, Mutual Pining, Slow Burn, Eventual Smut, Shameless Smut, don’t get it twisted—this is a space telenovela, no beta—we aim directly for the primarch’s dick
Excerpt: “Primarch Victus.” She steps closer. “I didn’t realize you were here.”
“I wanted to return the favor,” he says. “Show up in person.”
Her expression softens. “Yeah?”
“I’m sorry to see Earth looks as bad as Palaven.”
“Me too. How are things going over there?”
“Urdnot Wrex has been true to his word. The krogan have put up a magnificent fight. Fearless to the last soldier. They bought us time to evacuate a lot of civilians.” Victus’s voice drops. “Yet even then the Reapers were too much. The only hope for us all now is victory on Earth.”
Shepard inclines her head. “Thank you again for deploying your fleet. How are they managing?”
“They’re taking the main Reaper force head on. It’s going about as good as I could’ve hoped, which is to say there won’t be much of a fleet left soon.” He exhales, long and slow. “This is our last stand. There aren’t any more reinforcements.”
“Understood.”
An awkward silence settles between them. She’s clearly being careful in case she can’t address him the way she wants. He’s following her lead like a loyal little varren, and he hates it. Just seeing her is worth the detour to Earth, but he would’ve much rather made it more personal.
A small smile ghosts Shepard’s lips. “I’m glad we got this chance to speak.”
Victus nods. “Likewise.”
“Good luck out there.”
Full version on BlueSky (nsfw obvi 🖤)
They Say Life Carries On
So I finished this in my Covid brain fog haze and I’m tired of it so…. Here HAVE IT. It’s messy. Non-sessual but still NSFW full version on BlueSky.
Shictus is probably my favourite couple that never was in canon. They just make so much sense to me. Garrus just always seemed too young and couldn’t really hold a weight to the PTSD that Shepard carries. Victus has been there. He’s seen it. He’s lived it. Idk I fucking love them.
Sneak preview/WIP of my Shictus comic since I was in an art drought for a hot second.

Echoes of a Broken Bond - chapter 16-18 update
Yup.
Three. Damn. Chapters.
The Angst Spiral™️ is over now. Listen, I clearly love angst. I love pulling on heart-strings. But damn, it takes a bit of a toll to go there because immersion is a mfing bitch. Coupled with insomnia-struggles, I just... needed a break before diving into it. This story is heavy, after all.
2, maybe 3 left. It all depends on whether I split the final chapter or not. We'll see when I get there.
Excerpt:
“Commander.”
Shepard doesn’t tense at the sound of Victus’s voice this time. She simply turns to face him and offers a small nod.
“Primarch.”
“Wrex has already begun arranging troops to be sent to Palaven. You’ve kept your end of the bargain, and so I’ll keep mine. The turian Hierarchy will stand with humanity against the Reapers. When the time comes, the full measure of our fleet will be there for Earth.”
“Okay.”
“In addition to that, several dry-dock ships are ready to help build the Crucible.” Victus casts a glance to his left. “Garrus will coordinate them.”
“Why?” she asks.
He lifts a shoulder. “There’s no need for further accommodation on my account.”
He sounds wrong. Flat. Emotionless. Dead. It mirrors her own tone too well.
“I’ve already arranged transport,” he adds. “A shuttle will dock to the airlock in an hour and bring me to my ship.”
She nods. “Understood.”
Victus lingers. His mouth opens. Then it closes with an exhale and he leaves for his assigned room.
For what it’s worth, Primarch…. I’m sorry for your loss.
Echoes of a Broken Bond - chapter 19 update
Warning: No archive warnings apply Rating: Explicit Relationship: Adrien Victus/Female Shepard Characters: Female Shepard, Garrus Vakarian, Adrien Victus, Normandy Crew Other tags: POV Third Person Limited, POV Multiple, Flashbacks, Heartbreak, Angst, Drama, Romance, Mutual Pining, Slow Burn, Eventual Smut, Shameless Smut, don’t get it twisted—this is a space telenovela, no beta—we aim directly for the primarch’s dick
Excerpt: “Nice room,” Shepard says.
“A little much if you ask me,” Victus says.
She lifts a brow. “Not that weird they wanna pamper the primarch of Palaven.”
“If you say so. How did you find me?”
Her chin lifts. “I’m a Spectre. I have my ways.”
“Of course you do.”
Garrus, his brain fills in. No one else in her immediate orbit knows where he’s staying. Right now, he isn’t sure if he’s supposed to feel thankful or annoyed about it.
“How have you been?” Shepard asks.
Victus opens his mouth, trying to will something out, but he gives up with a shrug of his shoulders. She nods at that.
“Yeah. Me too.” Her eyes drop to her hands as they fumble together. “I ran into Tarquin two days ago. He told me about a letter you wrote after I died.”
He flinches. “No one was supposed to read that.”
“I figured. But I’m glad I did. What you wrote healed something in me. Something I’ve been carrying ever since you left.” A step closer. “It also broke me. I never thought my death would hurt you that much.”
The scoff leaves Victus before he can stop it, and he averts her gaze as soon as the sound dies.
“Just give it to me straight, Adrien.” Another step closer. “No matter how harsh it is.”
