Shwoo! I am POOPED! The vat gave out before I did though. I learned a lesson today. Of you try to dye close to 40 individual pieces in one day, with 5 dips each, the indigo vat WILL oxidize on you. Oh well. If anything looks a lighter shade than I'd like I can always give it a go again tomorrow. Seen here are the FLOUR SACK DISH TOWELS. I'm really excited for this new line of product. Taking a break after the third round of vat dips on all this stuff. I've got a little bit of everything in this installment; afew of my personal clothing pieces that needed reviving, 12 flour sack dishtowels, 12+🤷 batiked handkerchiefs/pet bandanas/12"x12" whatevers, plus a couple other odds and ends. I plan to do a few more dips before I shut down for the day. I think I've decided 3 dips just isn't dark enough for my aesthetic. This morning’s reveal of last night’s dyeing session was thrilling. I experimented with a combination of using wooden discs and tie dyeing to overdue several cotton napkins.
