So, I’ve been thinking about Jim and his death a lot recently (mostly because of how many times I’ve rewatched his bit is S4) and I finally came up with a theory as to how he faked his death albeit not a very good one. The theory goes something like this : Jim needed Sherlock to stop preying into his super secret illegal organisation so he thought up his perfect plan except that when he planned to die he thought “nahhh, lets just fake it” and decided to switch his normal bullets with blanks and his a very small, very breakable pouch of blood underneath his hair (Note for this to work Jim probably would have had to shave off a patch of his hair, silly i know but bear with me) so that when he pulled the trigger and dropped to the concrete Sherlock would have heard the gunshot, seen Moriarty drop with blood poring out of his head. Next after Sherlock fell, all Jim would have had to do is find a body that reasonably looked like him (which both Sherlock and Irene have proven to be not so difficult and given the amount of people who have seen Jim outside of his criminal organisation again wouldn’t be to difficult if no one certifiably “alive” can tell anyone what he looks like) to fool a coroner and The British Government and DONE.
