Oh look, Maveth lore 🫶
I’m such a sucker for the connected dreams trope, ugh. My beloved. 🧡
They were also the one who taught Narinder how to use sign language at first [even though he doesn’t exactly remember where he learnt it from].
But anyway more about Samael’s cult bc I love them
- as loud and chaotic as they are, their cult is *very* tight knit. they’re allowed to fight their troubles out [usually w supervision], allowed to argue, and it really does help them all grow together
- Sam’s cult basically all just act as one big family unit. If a child is born in the cult, all the adults take care of them as if they were their own kid.
- while people can have their own relationships, it’s not uncommon to find two people being affectionate towards one another who normally have nothing to do with each other
- they raised their cult to be a family instead of neighbors bc this was how they grew up before their slaughter
Notable members:
- the spouses:
Jaili: white ragdoll cat, “main” spouse
Ansen: short yellow canary, asexual but an attention whore
Judé: tall brown deer, less affectionate, but still likes to be close
Maveth: [honorable mention] The Lamb from another dimension, has proposed numerous times. Always rejected. They’ll try again soon.
- other
Paion: one of Samael’s disciples, large brown bear, intimidating but very kind
May: the other disciple, a short female barn owl, though funny enough, she’s more intimidating than the bear
Jae: big jacob’s sheep, nearing his elderly years, married to amar, lost their twins to sickness at childbirth
Amar: shaggy lincoln sheep, a little younger than jae, but still older
Min: small fox child, calls everyone “Baba”, including Samael for now, they don’t correct him
Will I draw some of their flock? Maybe some day.
