I decided to learn professional photography when everything in my life seemed hopeless. Spring has got me like... Finally the ice is melting from the lakes. Ice that has been covering them since November. It felt like such a short time and it's incredible to think it has been 6 months! 6 months of ice, frost and snow, that are finally making way for the summer to come. The nights aren't getting entirely dark anymore and soon the landscape will be entirely green and so full of life. Birds have already returned and are giving wonderful concerts, but the weather is still changing between frosty nights, rainy days and sunny evenings from time to time. This week is coming to an end. I used it to rest, fix things at home and just recharge my batteries. I did a lot of things I have been meaning to do for a long time and now I feel relaxed and ready for the weekend. The weather has been crazy too! It was too windy to go outside into the forest for most of the week, but the temperature has risen quite noticeably and a lot of the snow and ice that was left on the ground has disappeared. As some may have seen in my story yesterday, I have planted some vegetables and can't wait to set them outside as soon as the chances for frost decrease even more. Despite social distancing and the long physical distance between my family and me, I had a truly wonderful Easter weekend. The weather has been quite nice and allowed for walks, both in the sunshine and rain and I had wonderful conversations with both new and old friends and of course my family. My parents were so sweet, they sent pictures of their living room with eggs hidden to my brother, his girlfriend and me and we had to count how many eggs we would find in the pictures. It was really sweet and funny and we had a blast chatting on video with eachother!
