Spring time gets me thinking a lot about the mysterious character known as the green man. These odd little foliate heads are found hiding in medieval churches and nobody knows for sure what they are exactly. Is the green man simply an artistic choice from a bygone era or something much older? Either way, he’s come to represent man’s connection to nature.
