F A I T H l have been thinking about FAITH today. I am not a religious person at all, I do not pray or go to religious places with the intention of communicating with God. However, I still have faith that everything will eventually work out. The faith I have is on this universe, it's an underlying belief that some kind of an invisible force or energy is working with me , around me and for me to make things alright. That to me defines FAITH. There are certain times in life where the feeling of being looked after almost becomes tangible, itβs an overwhelming sense of relief and safety that takes over me and engulfs me in a sense of security to assure me that I am being taken care of , that is FAITH. Last year when I was visiting Dubai, we decided to go to Abu Dhabi to see the grand Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, that is where this picture was taken. I spent over 4 hours there and it was one of the most memorable and beautiful hours of my life. The whole place had an aura that was full of positive energy, I had never felt so close to FAITH before that, the stunning white spaces, the cold marble stone under my feet and the warmth of the sun together made me feel safe. I did not go there to pray where I could have asked God to make things better for me, I was there to admire the architecture marvel and appreciate its beauty, and it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen. What I felt there will always stay with me, my FAITH in this universe became stronger when I was in there and I came out feeling stronger and more at peace with myself. My Experience Visiting Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi
When I visited Abu Dhabi, one place that completely exceeded my expectations was the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Photos donβt really prepare you for the scale of it. The white marble domes, reflective pools, and detailed floral designs create a peaceful atmosphere that feels both grand and calming at the same time.
One thing I quickly realized is that planning matters. Dress code is strictly enforced, and arriving early makes a big difference if you want a quieter experience. The morning light makes the marble glow beautifully.
I explored part of the mosque on my own, which allowed me to move at my own pace and really take in the architecture. However, I also noticed guided groups learning about the symbolism behind the designs and the history of the mosqueβs construction. That definitely adds another layer to the visit.
