It seemed that there was less and less to do within the academy walls. Airships stopped functioning and hit a barrier the moment they attempted to leave academy airspace. It was all too weird, and a little too sinister. Sice scowled at the airship clerk’s unsatisfactory response. IT couldn’t be a crystal jammer; that had nothing to do with airships. She hadn’t been as perceptive than when the pillar first appeared, but the reaper found her way out of the main gates and into the Rubrum region. Monsters and Imperial stragglers... Ah, what a sight.
Right as Sice turned her back, someone landed on the ground right behind her. A perfect landing, especially after offing a rouge soldier. The cadet wasn’t sure if this person was a friend or foe, but perhaps the warrior hadn’t noticed her presence.
