      Cheryl  has  been  lying  on  the  couch  for  the  past  hour,  bored  out  of  her  mind,  scrolling  through  Twitter  in  pursuit  of  some  form  of  entertainment.  Aside  from  some  cute  cat  memes,  she  hasn't  found  anything  interesting,  which  earns  a  disappointed  sigh.  Her  sister's  voice,  however,  has  her  perking  up  immediately,  the  suggestion  sending  a  flash  of  excitement  across  her  face.

“ Hey Dad. This kinda reminded me of you. I hope you’re doing well. “

Attached is a picture, the window of some thrift store- a studded leather jacket sits up in the glass display. Lauren’s reflection can be faintly seen in the window.

𓏶✧♫✧♪ || There's an unmistakable sound under those stars tonight. A crowbar hitting something blunt and muffled. The feeling of the infernal rectangle in his leather slacks causing one claw to reach for it while the other slams a trunk shut. He yanks the phone before his red glimmers, the most irritated scowl at what dares disturb him... and his vicious features immediately brighten at the sender's name.

      XML  blinks,  looking  over  his  shoulder  at  the  woman  addressing  him.  He'd  been  telling  someone  off  for  shoulder-checking  him  and  had  gotten  a  bit  too  carried  away  with  his  insults.  He's  unapologetic,  but  nonetheless  looks  a  bit  sheepish,  likely  because  someone  else  witnessed  his  outburst.  Still,  he  manages  a  grin.
