 it’s  also  funny  ...  the  thing  katerina  loves  more  than  anything  is  love.  it’s  all  she  wants   ,   and  she  wants  it  desperately   .    both  to  feel  more  connected  to  her  mother    &   to  feel  something  more   ,    to  feel  like  she  has  a  purpose   .   yet  she  is  one  of  the  most  lonely  people  .  she  feels  so  unloved  pretty  much  all  the  time   &   she  hates  it  .   it’s  supposed  to  be  something  she  is  better  at  than  everyone  else  ,  but  she  fails  with  it  again   &   again  .
