Hi Shaymeless! Love your work! Just had a few questions for you (you don't have to answer them all if it's too much!)
Would you ever want to rewrite an old series/character of yours like you're doing with "The Heart Bleeds Lavender", and which would it be if you did? (The last episode was really good by the way-)
What are you proudest of as a creator?
Do you have a favorite moment in your time as a VA, or are there too many to nail down?
What's a concept that's always interested you?
With the addition of the Grove, will we see other members besides Oak and Lavender?
Hey there! Thanks for your support!
Would you ever want to rewrite an old series/character of yours like you're doing with "The Heart Bleeds Lavender", and which would it be if you did? (The last episode was really good by the way-)
Hey thank you! Glad you've enjoyed! I have poked a couple of my stories to see if they'd be eligible for a remake, with the only one i'm still undecided on being Cherry Soda Chapstick. It'd have incredible bones for a very fun audio drama, but I keep changing my mind between just finishing it and focusing my efforts on new, exciting stuff or leaning into it. So if anything, yeah, that.
What are you proudest of as a creator?
I'm doing a lot of things that I'm proud of, currently! THBL, as well as a bunch of projects that are on the verge of seeing the light of day. However, if I had to say anything specifically, I'm proud of the role I'm getting to have in bringing more legitimatelly female-gaze oriented, sex-positive, sapphic-central stories to our otherwise somewhat underrepresented niche. Oh and going full-time and making it work. That too.
Do you have a favorite moment in your time as a VA, or are there too many to nail down?
Honestly? Meeting some of the people I vibe with on a really deep, creative level. Nothing hits the spot like a person that inspires you. It's truly the highlight of my career every time I get to have interactions with a new person that motivates me to revolutionize my creative approach (ahem, @magebunkshelf )
What's a concept that's always interested you?
This is a broad question, but I'm gonna sayyy… the collaborative storytelling element that Listener OCs bring to the table has truly always fascinated me. I wanna see em. Theyre so fun.
Otherwise, I'm just endlessly taken with worldbuilding through storytelling, in a way truly only audio roleplay has ever gotten close to getting perfect. I'm endlessly inspired by channels like @castleaudios whose continuities are nothing short of masterful.
