“It seems as though young Shay Hilliard has found something of interest. While online he found a website totally dedicated to All-time great Horror Stories and Movies. This being something he found delight in, he began chatting with the website owner. He was excited when they invited him downtown for coffee to discuss some new ideas for new stories.”

THE HILLIARD FAMILY

Everyone, and I do mean everyone are curious about the attractive single dad and teenage son that have moved into the old Wilson house in the middle of Sable Square. (This house is a creation of @simsontherope​) Well, yours truly has a little scoop, it is none other than the former baseball major leaguer, Reese Hilliard. He and his wife divorced several years ago, and she now lives in neighboring Newcrest, with her current husband and children. 

Now that Reese has retired from Baseball, he has decided to relax here in beautiful Brindleton with his teenage son Shay. It’s my job to uncover any secrets that may lie within those walls of the old house, with new residents.

From what I heard through the grapevine, young Shay is not happy about the move here to Brindelton, as he is further from his mother and all his friends, especially a very “close” friend.

THE DORVAL FAMILY

“Every morning, Lucien Dorval would wander down to the docks to his favorite coffee shop, have a cup (or two) of macchiato to start his day. However, today he was meeting someone he met through his website, “Macabe Movies & Stories”. It was hard for Lucien to make friends not just because of his strange family, but his obsession with horror, blood and gore. At twenty he hadn’t even had his first real date!”

The young man he was meeting said he was new here in Brindelton, so hopefully he didn’t have apprehensions about Lucien’s favorite topic of conversation. It soon became apparent to Lucien that this Shay Hilliard and he had some mutual interests. Maybe this would lead to real friendship, and who knows maybe something more, as he was quite attractive.

LUCIEN- “So Shay you go to Britechester?”

SHAY- “Oh, no, I am looking to go to Foxbury, actually. I graduate this year, so next fall I hope to live on Campus.”

LUCIEN- “Oh...”

The Pratt Family

Leslie is the breadwinner in this family, and her husband, Kevin is a stay-at-home dad. While the kids are away at school, he keeps himself busy cleaning and working around the yard. A far cry from what he used to do, prior to the kids! His wife is an accomplished writer and works for the Brindleton News as Assistant Editor. Ronan is President of his HS class and honor student. Paisley, also intelligent, but prefers to be the jokester, and takes care of Buttercup the family dog.

The Hilliard Family

Reese, a single father to his son Shay did not envision this to be his life. A former pro athlete, married to his high school sweetheart with a small son, he realized his wife was cheating on him with his best friend. He retained custody of their son, she married his "former" best friend and started popping out more kids. Shay, respects his father, jokes about his mother but his heart still aches for her. Reese would love to see him follow in his steps as an athlete, but Shay has other plans.
