Shay's Pub and Wine Bar (Oct. 26, 2014)
Today I learned about an absolutely delightful dive-y bar in Harvard Square called Shay's. It's on JFK across the street from Wagamama - my partner and I had dinner there tonight with some of my best friends from forever, one of whom I hadn't seen in person for a few years. It's downstairs, nice and small, reasonably quiet (especially at like 8pm on a Sunday), and just an altogether pleasant place to sit and have a beer with friends. They serve food, but we had just eaten so I didn't peruse the menu.
I'll be back for sure. It would be extremely regularly if we didn't live on the other side of the city.
Chicago Fire (Molly's)
I reckon they should change the name of Molly's to Shay's, because it wouldn't be around if it wasn't for her and they wouldn't have the franchising idea without Shay either.
