Can you tell which figures I heavily referenced from and which ones I fucked around and found out with? :)
Sidenote: I am particularly proud of the bottom left V1, even though their head mount is really off lol
The more details a character has, the more I will choose to omit and pick apart (but that doesn't mean studying the character in full can't be fun every so often!)
Merma 2026 Day 18: Miami Vibes
a mini batch of sloppy lil doodles.
I forced myself to sketch with some crayola markers (as the lines are there and I can't erase them). Don't know why but I thought of Reiji (without a reference) and so I got this in the end.

If there's a character that I always go back to drawing it would have to be Sonic. I can remember getting the Archie's Comics of Sonic, and trying to draw from it. So many years later, and here we are. Of course seeing media like Sonic Mania / Origins animated cutscenes just made me want to draw the blue blur even more. Even if Knuckles is my favorite character, I always seem to come back to Sonic. and this one I used a mix of prismacolors, sharpie, and micron.
I painted Anya from Spy X Family. This was made with a sharpie pen and watercolor.
