Juggling the artistic identities of a chronically online furry artist and a mixed media artist in art school be like XD
I'm entering my second year of my BFA, and my art has grown and changed for the better, but it's an odd feeling trying to figure out my online presence when I'm still figuring out my artistic identity, especially with all these fuckass algorithms EVERYWHERE ;D
Making only furry art and being scared to venture away from the style I curated on my old instagram seriously confined me, but I love furry art and it's a part of me.
My art feels more personal now that I've created more outside of making art to post, and I want to continue embracing that realness without fear. I guess it's a matter of maintaining a healthy relationship with the internet (and other people overall) and embracing every possible direction my art can go :)
