Day 1 ( shark )
Forcing myself to start a hopefully daily series of painting a random furry animal.
Paint is one of the art mediums I am not that friendly with which is why I am forcing myself to work with it more. And when it comes to painting, it is very punishing with mistakes. And I believe to get better at being an artist, you must embrace those mistakes.
Originally for this piece I was wanting to do a more scaly shark, though it didn't really work out. And I was wanting to do a lemon shark, so I ended up making some kind of cat shark. Originally, it wasn't supposed to have red scars, but a piece of paint fell and I turned it into scratches. For it being 7 and after Thanksgiving it turned out very well.
