Title: Make tongues your pillar for life
Make prayer your pillar for life.
On Sunday, Pastor Prince taught us that prayer, in particular praying in tongues, is one of the four key pillars of the church to help us ward off the enemy.
Iâve always taught my son that âprayer brings answers and help from God.â Jeremiah 33:3 says âCall to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things you do not know.â
But he once asked me, âWhy is it better that I pray in tongues? Canât I just pray in English? What are the benefits of praying in the Spirit?â
Acts 2 details the start of the early church and it says that when the Day of Pentecost had fully come, Godâs people were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues (Acts 2:4).
God gave us His prayer language as a gift to the church because when we pray using our mind, such as in English or Mandarin, we actually limit ourselves. âFor His Spirit searches out everything and shows us Godâs deep secrets (1 Cor 2:10 NLT).
Romans 8 further explains how the Holy Spirit helps us when we pray in tongues.
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
In his Daily Devotional Series, Pastor Prince said: âThe Holy Spirit is not inside you to point out your faults or nag at you when you do wrong. Godâs Word tells us that He is inside us to help us in our weaknesses. In areas where we are without strength, He is there to help us. When we donât know how to pray, âthe Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.â
However, we are not to say âsince the Holy Spirit makes intercession for me, I can just leave the praying to Him.â
Pastor Prince explained if the Holy Spirit, without our participation, makes intercession for us, then every Christian would be living victorious lives automatically. But we know that there are many Christians who donât seem to be walking in the fullness of Godâs blessings. So obviously, Romans 8:26 is not saying that. Whatâs it saying then?
The key is found in the word âhelpsâ, as in âthe Holy Spirit helps (Rom 8:26).â
In the original Greek, âhelpsâ is âsunantilambanomai.â It means âto take hold together against.â
Now, âtogetherâmeans our participation is required. In other words, the Holy Spirit âsunantilambanomaiâ or takes hold together with you against the problem.
Said Senior Pastor: âSo, if you just sit back and donât take hold of the problem, the Holy Spirit has nothing to âtake hold ofâ with you. If you donât pray, He has nothing to pray. If you keep quiet, then even if He wants to pray through you, He canât.
âBut when you release your prayer in tongues, you are actually allowing Him to pray through you. And He will take hold together with you against the problem, and pray the perfect prayer through you because âHe makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God (Rom 8:27).â
The Bible even gives us a vision of what happens when we pray in tongues.
Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth;
You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small,
And make the hills like chaff.
You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away,
And the whirlwind shall scatter them;
You shall rejoice in the LORD,
And glory in the Holy One of Israel.
âThreshing sledgeâ - A rectangular wooden plank designed to separate the grain from the chaff.
âTeethâ - the Hebrew word for teeth is âpiyphiyahâ and it means âtwo-edged mouth.â When you pray in tongues, you are using a two-edged sword against your mountain (your problem). âThis is the new weapon God gave on the day of Pentecost 2000 years ago,â said Pastor Prince.
âYou shall thresh the mountainsâ - You will overcome your mountains (plural) by praying in the Spirit.
âYou shall winnow them and the wind shall carry them awayâ - Another way to separate the grain from the chaff is to throw the grain into the air and allow the wind to separate them. Said Pastor Prince: âWhen you are praying in tongues, it might seem like your problem remains even after some time. But every time you pray in tongues, you are cutting away at your mountain and making it smaller, so small that the wind can blow it away!â
Make praying in the Spirit your pillar for life,

Title: Break out in health when you break bread
Many believers have a high regard for the apostle Paul, who wrote about two-thirds of the New Testament. Imagine you knew Paul was coming to preach in church. Wouldnât he be made priority? Not according to the what the early church did, said Pastor Prince on Sunday.
Now on the first day of the weekâŚthe disciples came together to break bread.
Said Senior Pastor: âThe early church gathered and prioritised the breaking of bread as much as to hear Paul preach. Jesus Himself said, âDo this in remembrance of Me.â The Holy Communion is the highest watermark of worship.â
The answer to your health and wholeness is not from the world. Itâs from the power of partaking worthily of the Lordâs broken body and shed blood at the Cross for you.
In his book âThe Healing Power of the Holy Communion,â Pastor Prince said: âLet me tell you why I believe the Holy Communion is more powerful than any medicine, any medical procedure, any antibiotic, and any chemotherapy used to heal our bodies. Let me tell you why I believe the Holy Communion is the proverbial âfountain of youthâ mankind has been searching of for generations. Why I believe every time we partake of it, we are causing our youth to be renewed like the eagleâs (Ps 103:5).â
He explained the earth has been under divine judgment ever since Adam sinned. Aging, disease, and death are all part of this divine sentence. The reality is we live in a fallen world and all these effects of the divine sentence are happening to our mortal bodies. But God never intended for His children to suffer any of it.
âThat is why God sent His Son to bear our sins and sicknesses at the Cross,â said Senior Pastor. âThat is why He provided the Holy Communion as a way to escape the divine judgment on this world, to offset its effects. The Holy Communion is a supernatural channel for the Lordâs health
and wholeness to flow into our bodies. While the world is getting weaker and sicker, I believe we are getting stronger and healthier each time we partake of the Communion by faith!â
The early church clearly understood how powerful it is to break bread. That is why the Bible says they broke bread âfrom house to houseâ (Acts 2:42).â
Said Pastor Prince: âWhen the early church met on Sunday, the main reason wasnât to hear preaching and teaching. Acts 20:7 tells us they came together to break bread. Even though the apostle Paul was the first speaker that weekend, the main reason they gathered as to break bread.
âIf people today knew the magnitude of the power contained within the Holy Communion, they would be like the early church, partaking of the Lordâs Supper as often as they could and receiving as many of the benefits as they could. People, itâs time to wake up to this truth!â
Time to break bread in remembrance of Jesus,

I overheard someone use this Singlish goad recently and it brought back memories from my army days when the sergeant would repeatedly call us âchickensâ - connotating we were weak or afraid.
On Sunday, Pastor Prince shared through Scripture how God sees us as strong eagles, and not weak âchickens.â
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait (qavah) on the LORD shall renew (exchange) their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Pastor Prince said âGodâs Word tells us He gives power to the weak. So donât trust in natural strength for even the youths shall faint and young men shall utterly fall. But those that wait upon the LORD, those that look to Jesus as their strength, shall mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint.â
He added the word âwaitâ in Hebrew is âqavah,â which means âget hope in the Wordâ or âto look at with hope.â
Hebrews 12:2 says âlooking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.â The words âlooking untoâ is âqavah.â
And the word ârenewâ means âexchange.â
So those who get hope in Godâs hope by seeing Jesus and looking unto Him as the author and finisher of their faith shall renew their strength by exchanging their weakness with the might of Christ!
When you spend time with the Lord daily in His Word, you will soar like the eagle in the heavenly places with God first, then you will run and walk and not be weary nor faint!
In his Meditate & Believe Right Series, Senior Pastor uses this illustration to expound on the eagle in Isaiah 40:31.
He said a farmer once tried to raise an eaglet among some chickens. The eaglet was taught to run around like a chicken and scratch dirt like a chicken. Instead of flying, it was always taught to look down, and to run away from snakes like a scared chicken.
But each time the eaglet did those things, it knew in its heart something was wrong. One day, it looked up and saw an eagle flying high with a snake amongst its talons. The eagle gave a loud shriek that resonated from deep within the heart of the eaglet.
Each time the eaglet saw the eagle, it knew it was beholding its true nature. It tried to tell the chickens about it but they just said, âStop dreaming! Youâre a chicken. We chickens are earth-bound. We donât fly and weâre terrified of snakes.â But the more the eaglet saw the eagle, the more it saw its true destiny. The continual sight and sound of the eagle eventually captured its heart, so that finally, it was able to shut out the voices of unbelief, shake off its earth-bound mentality and take to the skies to live the high life of an eagle.
Said Pastor Prince: âMy friend, God calls us eagles. And He calls us to live the high life with Him. When you were born again as a child of God, everything necessary for success, for being the head and not the tail, for being above only and not beneath, and for living the victorious life was birthed in you.
âSo keep seeing and meditating on your true identity in Christ - a beloved and righteous child of God destined to soar and reign in life. The more you get this into your heart, the more youâll be able to shut out the voices that try to keep you down and defeated, and live the high life!â

Title: Expect beautiful days after youâve attended church
Do you know that the Bible says you can expect many beautiful days after youâve attended church to hear Godâs Word?
And so it was that he (Simon Peter) stayed many days in Joppa with Simon, a tanner.
Pastor Prince has taught us that all names in the Bible have meanings. Note that there are 2 Simons in this verse: The disciple, Simon Peter, and the tanner, Simon. The name Simon means âhearing.â So the 2 Simons in this verse means âdouble hearing.â
A tanner is a person who works with animal skins and hides to make leather. This signifies dealing with the flesh. What the Bible is teaching us here is hearing by the flesh is not beneficial to us. Whatâs of benefit to us is to listen by the Spirit or to hear by faith.
Joppa means âbeautiful.â So when Scripture says âstayed many days in Joppa,â it speaks of enjoying many beautiful days.
Put them all together and you get this:
To enjoy many beautiful days, keep hearing and hearing by faith the Word of God!

Title: Your faith will make you well
Do you feel insignificant, as if no one cares about your long-standing issue or condition and you feel down and all alone?
And youâre wondering if hanging on to your trust in God is going to pay off?
Well, last Sundayâs message from the very ministry God planted you, Rock Kidz, is tailor-made for you.
Do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you.
The Bible encourages us to hang on to our faith in our good God. Why? Because a great reward awaits you.
The Book of Mark tells us of a blind beggar at the gate of Jericho named Bartimaeus whom many regarded as insignificant.
Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, âJesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, âSon of David, have mercy on me!â
We know he was insignificant and treated like a nobody because no one even called him by his own name. You see, Bartimaeus means âson of Timaeus,â and Timaeus is the anglicized form of the Hebrew word âtimaeâ, which means âunclean.â So the people called him âson of the unclean.â
But even though people called him âson of the unclean,â it did not stop Bartimaeus, upon hearing that Jesus was coming, from crying out to the Lord for mercy (grace, unmerited favor).
And even though many warned him to be quiet, Bartimaeus hung on to his trust in Jesus that the Lord in His grace would heal him and make him see again.
Note how Scripture captures the Lordâs loving response to someone many regarded as an insignificant nobody with no name of his own.
So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, âBe of good cheer. Rise. He is calling you.â
And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. So Jesus answered and said to him, âWhat do you want me to do for you?â The blind man said to Him, âRabboni, that I may receive my sight.â
Then Jesus said to him, âGo your way. Your faith has made you well. And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
âJesus stood stillâ - The One who has the power to make the sun stand still for Joshua (Joshua 10:12-14) stood still for a mere blind man regarded as a nobody. Why? Because this insignificant nobody believed and clung on to Godâs mercy (grace, unmerited favor). Jesus always hears and has compassion for anyone who cries out believing that they can receive grace and unmerited favor from Him. He is our Servant King who came not to be served but to serve and give His life a ransom for many (Matt 20:28). We know this for His first words to a man with no name who believes in the grace of God is: âWhat do you want me to do for you?â
And just like what the RK memory verse Hebrews 10:35 says, Bartimaeus asked to receive his sight and immediately received his reward of being healed by the the Lord!
But what did Jesus say made blind Bartimaeus see? âYour faith has made you well,â said the Lord.
So whatever youâre believing God for, keep putting your trust in His grace. Donât allow what others say or how they see you make you lose hold of your confident trust in Him - and you will receive your reward. Because of the Cross, your need - and not your behaviour or how others regard you - is your qualification for a miracle from Jesus. And when it comes to your need, it is never insignificant to Jesus for you are so precious to Him that He died for you!
Your faith will make you well,

Title: How to abound in hope
We all want to not simply have a little hope but to abound in hope; and take up Pastor Lawrenceâs challenge last Sunday âto believe God for great things this year.â
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Said Pastor Lawrence: âGod wants us to be children of hope. Even as you are waiting for your breakthrough, God wants to fill you with joy and peace in believing. How? By the Holy Spirit.
âItâs a beautiful walk. We abound in hope not by the arm of flesh but by the Holy Spirit. So no matter what your situation may be, your Heavenly Father wants to fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope.â
In the Greek, Romans 15:13 is written as âthat you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.
NKJV says âby,â but the Greek word is actually âen,â which means âin.â
If you have lost hope, pray in the Spirit often so you can have hope again with joy and peace.
Scripture also tells us we need the Holy Spirit to be filled with Godâs love.
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit given to us.
After you have the hope of God, the Holy Spirit will fill your heart with the love of God so that you know for sure that He will not disappoint you!
And all of Rock Kidz say, âIâm going to pray in the Spirit and my hope in God for my breakthrough shall abound and not disappoint for He loves me! Amen đ!â
Abounding in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit for my breakthrough,
Title: Accelerate by proclaiming
We all want to see Godâs accelerated blessings in our lives, especially so as this is the Year of Rest & Acceleration.
Yesterday, we all received our âaccelerated hongbaoâ even before Chinese New Year as Pastor Mark packed many valuable scriptural gems inside his annual festive message.
My favourite gem was when he revealed the word âaccelerationâ in Mandarin (see visual below) contains two characters, âaddâ and âspeed.â
The Chinese character for âaddâ comprises of two words, âstrengthâ and âproclaimâ; while âspeedâ is made up of âwalk,â âproclaimâ and âcross.â
Put them all together and you get this:
If you want to see Godâs accelerated blessings in your life, use the strength and power of your mouth in your daily walk to proclaim about all that Christ Jesus has purchased for you at the Cross!
Said Pastor Mark: âThis year, rest in the love and forgiveness of God by proclaiming Jesus and His Finished Work at the Cross and everything will be accelerated in your life.â
Our Rock Kidz lesson yesterday was âin the flowâ as our children were also taught to use their mouths - the key verse being âI believe and therefore speak (2 Cor 4:13).â
So donât speak about your lack or your sickness. Choose instead to speak about how Jesus died poor at the Cross to make you rich (2 Cor 8:9). Stop speaking about the lying symptoms that pains you and begin proclaiming that By His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Stop murmuring and complaining and start praising the Lord for He is good and His mercies (hesed, grace, undeserved favor, loving kindness) endure forever (Ps 136:1)!
Pastor Prince had declared that this year, God wants to raise up the tabernacle of David (a picture of us, the body of Christ that makes up the church) and repair the breaches (Amos 9:11).
Pastor Mark explained the word âbreachâ in Mandarin is made up of two words âbrokenâ and âmouth.â He said: âThis year, God wants to repair those who have not been using their mouths to boldly proclaim that we are the righteousness of God in Christ.â
For if by one manâs offense, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
Through the love of God, and by His grace, Jesus has made reigning in life restful for us. All we need to do to reign is to believe and receive the abundance of His grace and the gift of His righteousness.
So today, as you attend CNY reunion lunch or dinner, know that your mouth is not only to be used for eating. Use the strength and power of your mouth to praise Jesus and proclaim His Finished Work at the Cross - and expect to see accelerated blessings manifest in your life, which includes the best steamboat and joyous family mealtime ever!
Enjoy Him and your CNY family reunion,

Title: Rest & accelerate in the Vine
Have you ever faced an issue or condition for which your every effort in producing results has led to sheer frustration and youâve come to nought? Fret not.
Listen to what Pastor Prince shared on Sunday on what he termed the âPerez Uzzahâ incident.
This occured before the ark of the covenant was placed on Obed Edomâs house on the way to Jerusalem (2 Sam 6:8). Instead of transporting the ark on the shoulders of the priests as was Godâs ordained way, David put the ark on an oxen cart. As a result, the oxen stumbled and one of Davidâs men, Uzzah (whose name means strength), reached out to steady the ark and he was struck dead.
David then named the place âPerez Uzzah,â which means âthe breaking of manâs strength.â
Said Pastor Prince: âIn this journey of restoring the tabernacle of David (a picture of the church), we will see the breaking of human pride (manâs strength). It is only when man sees that without the Lord, he can do nothing, that he will be able to depend on the Lordâs strength instead of his own.
âWithout Jesus, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Sometimes we think we need God for the big things in life but we can handle the small things. Yet the Bible tells us what without Jesus, we can do nothing. We need Him in everything we do.â
Reading John 15:5, youâll see a picture of Rest & Acceleration: âI am the Vine and you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me, you can do nothing.â
Here, Jesus Himself says âI am the Vine, you are the branches.â He did not say, âI am the Vine, try to be the branches.â In short, you need not struggle to be a branch.
As His branches, you only have to abide, rest and remain in your unshakable position in Christ, your true Vine. Practically, this simply means being conscious daily of your position in Christ. Because you are in Christ, you are accepted in the Beloved (2 Cor 5:17, Ephesians 1:6).
The enemy wants you to focus on your condition and rely on your own strength instead of resting in your position in Christ. He wants you to forget that you are the righteousness of God in Christ and that youâre seated with Him (another picture of rest) in heavenly places (2 Cor 5:21, Ephesians 2:6).
The devil knows that the moment you focus on your position in Christ, it will give you Godâs power and strength to change your condition and circumstances. John 15:5 says âyou will bear much fruit.â This means when you pray against any lack or sickness, knowing you can rely on Godâs power and strength as His beloved child, supply and healing will flow.
None of these can happen by your own doing - only by the Vine life from Jesus that flows through you. Just as sap flowing through the branches of a vine causes them to bring forth fruit, the life of Jesus flowing through you will bring forth a bountiful harvest of provision and miracles as you rest and accelerate in Him!
And all of Rock Kidz say, âIâm a branch of Jesus, His Vine life flows in me and Iâll bear much fruit! Amen đ!
Rest & Accelerate in the Vine,

Title: Depression and sickness flee when you see Jesus at the centre
Do you find it especially challenging during tough times to be quick to believe God? And youâre somewhat sad and downcast?
Well, thereâs a portion of Scripture which Pastor Prince shared on Sunday that reveals Godâs way of Rest & Acceleration.
You see, Luke 24 records that there were two disciples who were sad and despondent as they spoke about the events following what had happened to Jesus at Calvary. They were downcast because they were âfoolish and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets had spoken (Luke 24:25)â about Jesus, Godâs Son who came to die to save His people from their sins. They were âfoolish and slow to believeâ He has been resurrected following His perfect and finished work at the Cross.
Musing on this youâd realise these breaches in the church God wants to rebuild (Amos 9:11-13). The first is believers are âfoolish,â meaning they are ignorant and lack knowledge and revelation about the true gospel of grace. The second is whilst others may have knowledge of Godâs Word, they are âslow of heart to believe.â
Now watch what the resurrected Jesus did to these two believers on the road to Emmaus. He Himself drew near and asked them: ââWhat kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad? (Luke 24:17)â
Beloveds, do not condemn yourself if you feel down or are slow to believe. God wants you to rest, not be sad, anxious nor worried; but see that Jesus Himself will immediately draw near to you. Why? Because His blood has cleansed you completely and as the righteousness of God in Christ, nothing can separate you from the love of God. Itâs just like in the tabernacle of David, which speaks of the church today, where every believer can have free access to the Lord.
But what was Jesusâ solution to their problems?
And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them things concerning Himself.
Right there, on road to Emmaus, Jesus began to expound the Scriptures about things concerning Himself. Pastor Prince said every page on the Bible is about Jesus. Jesus is the Old Testament concealed and the New Teatament revealed. In short, Jesus is at the centre of it all. So Jesusâ solution for those who are downcast, foolish and slow of heart to believe is for them to rest and study the Bible with a revelation of Him at the centre.
The journey from Jerusalem to Emmaus that Jesus walked with the two believers is seven miles. Seven is the number of rest in the Bible. And âEmmausâ in Hebrew means âwarm baths.â
Godâs Word tells us that as the two downcast disciples walked the journey of rest seeing Jesus in the Scriptures, their disturbed hearts were accelerated into a state of warm and burning hearts! For at the end of the restful walk with Jesus, they said: âDid not our hearts burn within us while He talked with us on the road and while He opened the Scriptures to us?â
The disciples who began their walk downcast and weak, emerged uplifted with burning hearts and strengthened after resting to hear the Lord. For the Bible tells us that they walked the entire 7-mile journey back and evangelised about all Jesus told them!
So as you journey through this year, be encouraged to rest, open up your bibles and see Jesus at the centre of it all. In the Old Testament, see Jesus at the centre of every sacrifice, every feast and in the tabernacle. In the New Testament, see Jesus at the centre of it all, loving and healing all who were oppressed with mental and physical ailments. The man at Lystra who was lame from birth simply rested and heard Paul preach about Jesus and his accelerated healing manifested for when Paul commanded him, he leaped and walked (Acts 14:8-10)!
As you simply choose to rest from your issues and prioritise Godâs Word that reveals the centrality of Christ, just like the lame man at Lystra did, God will prioritise you and make you the centre of all His accelerated blessings!
And all of Rock Kidz say, âIâm going to rest, open up my Bible, see Jesus at the centre of it all and I shall be accelerated into His commanded blessings! Amen đ!â

Title: We pray because we have influence with God
After hearing Pastor Prince encourage everyone to pray on Sunday because every believer has influence with God, a bro asked me this: âIâm facing a big problem so how do I pray powerful or big enough prayers for God to move?â
Well, this bro is not alone in wanting a more effective prayer life. In his blogpost titled âHow to Pray Powerful Prayers,â Senior Pastor said the first key is to believe God is on your side.
He said when Jesus died on the Cross, all that stood in the way of answered prayers, namely sin, has been dealt with. You now have direct access to Godâs throne of grace and all the blessings you ever need in this life - including health, healing, provision, favor and protection. Today when you pray, God hears you and is willing and more than ready to send His abundant supply into your situation.
Itâs just like when the leper asked the Lord âIf You are willing, you can make me clean.â And Jesus replied: âI am willing!â
However itâs important in these last days we learn to see prayer Godâs way. Pastor Prince said Godâs ways are often the opposite of manâs ways. The world teaches that to get ahead in life, you need to be strong, self-confident and cunning. But God says be humble and He will exalt you (1 Peter 5:6). Throughout Scripture, you see God using people or things that man deems weak or foolish to do mighty deeds for His glory (1 Cor 1:26-27).
For instance, when a giant of a warrior came against Israel, God didnât send a champion or experienced solider. He sent a simple shepherd boy named David to knock down Goliath. And this youth brought his giant down not with weapons of war but with a mere sling and stone!
It was the same with Samson, who merely had to wield the jawbone of a donkey to emerge victorious against 1,000 Philistine men.
A believerâs prayer life and posture is no different. In many menâs minds, God has to be actively convinced by hard work on their part for Him to move. But no. Jesusâ prayers that brought forth great miracles were simple commands or declarations.
When faced with a man who had a withered hand, Jesus commanded, âStretch out your hand (Luke 6:10)â and he was healed. With Jairusâ dead daughter, the Lord said in Aramaic, âTalitha cumi!â or âlittle girlďźarise!â (Mark 5:41) and she was raised from the dead.
So a powerful prayer need not be long and difficult. It can be just a simple declaration made in faith. When Pharoahâs armies were closing in at the Red Sea, Moses cried out to God, who replied: âLift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it (Exodus 14:15-16).â The rod is a picture of the authority God had already given to Moses. All Moses needed to do was to step up and take charge.
God in His grace has already given every believer the authority to take charge and speak in the name of Jesus. So lift up the name of Jesus by commanding the problem to leave.
Better still, pray the perfect prayer by praying in the Spirit. Said Pastor Prince on Sunday: âGod has given us a special prayer that we can pray for the world and our future - it is the gift of tongues. When we pray in tongues, we can pray even when we lack understanding or donât know what to pray for.â
Therefore, whatever the situation, pray. For the Bible says in James 4:2 âyou do not have because you do not ask.â So pray and ask. And soon you will have!
Mark 11:24 - (Jesus said) âTherefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.â
And all of Rock Kidz say, âIâm going to pray because God has given me the authority to use the name of Jesus and I have influence with Him! And I will get what I pray for! Amen đ!â
Ask and you shall receive,
____________________________________
Do you know that God has already given you the power to change your circumstances? See what the Bible says in Proverbs 18:21 - âDeath and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.â
The words you say can open to door to good or bad in your life. How you use your tongue and what you say in line with the Word of God - and not with the world - will change your life.
A restful, simple and yet powerful way you can do this is to respond with an âAmen!â every time you read a promise found in the Bible or hear preaching about the good plans God has for you.
âAmenâ means âso be itâ or âbe it unto meâ. Every time you say âAmenâ you put yourself in agreement with what the Lord wants to do in your life and open the door for His power to flow into your situation.
Today at church is an opportune time to start using the power found in your tongue to say âAmen!â to every prophecy and good plan God has in store for you from His Rhema Word spoken by Pastor Prince. For instance, when you hear Godâs Word say âSurely blessing I will bless thee and multiplying I will multiply thee (Heb 6:14), all you need to do is to say âAmen! Be it unto me!â - and youâve just open the door for every blessing from God to manifest in your life!
And all of Rock Kidz say, âIâm going to say a loud âAmen!â and claim every promise from Godâs Word at church today! Amen đ!â

Have you been afflicted much by an issue? Perhaps itâs from your work, health or financial situation thatâs been causing you to be downcast and worn down - and youâre looking for a quick way out from all thatâs afflicting you.
Well, thereâs Good News for you from a verse shared by Pastor Prince on Sunday.
I am afflicted very much, quicken me O LORD, according to thy word.
âQuicken me O LORD, according to thy wordâ - The synonym of the word âquickenâ is âaccelerateâ. In this the Year of Rest & Acceleration, when you are âafflicted very much,â God wants to quicken and accelerate your way out of all that afflicts you. How? By guiding you according to His word.
Whatâs interesting is the word âquickenâ in the Strongâs Concordance does not only refer to speed or acceleration. The word âquickenâ in Hebrew is âchayah,â which also means âto revive,â âto live,â âcertainly give lifeâ and âsurely be whole!â
So keep listening to Pastor Princeâs sermons that speak of Jesus, His amazing grace and of His righteousness that has been given to you as a gift. Keep feeding on verses like âFor I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you: Do not fear. I will help you (Isaiah 41:13 NIV) - and God promises that in so doing, you shall be quickened, accelerated, revived, certainly find the abundant life that Jesus died to give you and surely be made whole!
Furthermore, it is written in Psalms 1 that the man who meditates on Godâs word day and night shall be like a tree planted by the waters, bear fruit, have leaves that shall not wither and whatever he does shall prosper!
And all of Rock Kidz say, âIâm going to Godâs word to be accelerated into the abundant life Jesus died to give me! Amen đ!â
Enjoy being quickened by Godâs word,

Have you had moments when youâve asked âreally can meh?â
Perhaps after our shepherd Pastor Prince shared earlier this week that âas your days, so shall your strength be (Deut 33:25), or after Pastor Lian declared from Psalm 18:29 that âby my God, I can leap over a wall,â you heard some âsheepâ amongst us go âreally can, meeehh?â
In short, itâs all about right believing in Godâs promises found in His Word. After all, Jesus Himself said in Mark 9:23 - âIf you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.â
Some think this places emphasis on their own faith. But in truth, what Jesus is saying here is we just need to have faith that all things are possible for our Lord to believe. Look at what the apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 2:20 (KJV) - âI am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave His life for me.â
âI live by the faith of the Son of Godâ - As born-again Christians, we are to âlive by the faith of the Son of Godâ who loves us and gave His life for us.
This means we are to simply latch our relatively puny faith unto the enormity of the Jesus-kind of faith in His Father. Now how restful is that, when you know you can latch your measure of faith unto the largeness of the faith of the Son of God for your miracle?
So instead of asking âreally can meh?â questions anymore, ask this: âCan Jesus believe God for my situation to turn around?â Surely thatâs a âYes!â
After all, the Word of God in 2 Cor 1:20 (NLT) tells us âFor all of Godâs promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding âYes!â And through Christ our âAmen!â (which means Yes!â) ascends to God for His glory!â
And all of Rock Kidz say, âMy Shepherd believes all of Godâs promises for me have been fulfilled in Him with a resounding âYes!â Amen đ!â
Sheep not made to believe in their Shepherd meh?

George Muller is a famous man of God from the 1800s renowned for building 5 orphanages and housing 2,000 orphans annually. He never asked for money but brought every need before the LORD, praying in millions of dollars throughout his life to upkeep Godâs children. At age 70, he began a 17-year missionary journey, preaching in about 40 countries. At 93, he was visited by 2 younger friends and found himself much more energetic than them, with no aches and pains.
Many want to know Mullerâs secret to a long, fruitful and healthy life. It is found in a verse Pastor Prince shared last Sunday in church.
My son, give attention to my wordsâŚDo not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Mullerâs secret was his love for the Scriptures and its supernatural medicinal, recuperative and life-giving power.
So be encouraged, beginning today at church, to immerse yourself in the Scriptures. Saturate your heart and mind with Godâs life-giving words each day. Keep reading and hearing how Jesus willingly healed the sick and all who were oppressed of the devil. Keep meditating on Godâs Word and speaking His promises over yourself and youâll prosper In every area of your life, including your health!
And all of Rock Kidz say, âI shall find life and health for all my flesh at service today! Amen đ!â

Title: Sit (rest) at Godâs right hand and accelerate
Before my grandfather passed, I recall every Chinese New Year, the seat right next to him during reunion dinner or CNY first day family lunch was always reserved for my dad, whom many knew was his favourite.
So when Pastor Mark said during our CNY service on Sunday âdo you know that God has made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, sitting at the right hand of God (Eph 2:6, Col 3:1)?â; fond memories came flooding back.
âRight-hand side is so powerful,â said Ps Mark. âFor right-hand side means you are favored by God; and called the Benjamin generation, the son of His right hand.â
But what is so significant about right believing that we are the Benjamin generation, sons of the Lordâs right hand?
Then he (Joseph) took servings to them from before him, but Benjaminâs servings was five times as much as any of theirs. So they drank and were merry with him.
The Bible tells us our Heavenly Father wants us to know he has five times more for each and every single one of us for we are His favored children! So it behooves us to study the Bible about the Benjamin generation.
The Book of Genesis tells us Joseph and Benjamin are two of 12 brothers who shared the same father but not the same mother.
He was greatly loved by his father, Jacob, yet was rejected by his older brothers - just as Jesus was greatly loved by His Father, but rejected by His Jewish brothers when He first came. John 1:11 - âHe came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.â
Joseph took Asenath, a Gentile bride (Gen 41:45). Jesus calls us, the Gentile church, His bride.
Joseph and Benjaminâs 11 older brothers were born of Jacobâs first wife Leah - whose name means âslave woman,â a picture of the law.
Joseph and Benjaminâs mother is Jacobâs second wife, Rachel (her name means lamb). When Benjamin was born, his mother Rachel (lamb) died giving birth to him. We, the Benjamin generation, were born out of the death of the Lamb of God on the Cross - in grace.
And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-Oni (son of my sorrow): but his father called him Benjamin (son of my right hand).
Rachel wanted to name Benjamin âBen-Oniâ but Jacob, his father, intervened. So instead of being âson of my sorrow,â he became âson of my right hand.â
Today, we are most loved by the Father because of what His Son has accomplished for us at the Cross. Because of our sins, we were destined to live a life of sorrow. But by the grace of God, the atoning blood of Jesus has cleansed us from every sin. Today, we can boldly proclaim we are the righteousness of God in Christ and we reign in life (Rom 5:17).
Our seat (rest) so to speak, is in the heavenly places in Christ. And to be resting at the Fatherâs right hand is where Jesus is today - in a place of power, privilege, favor and righteousness. For that is where God sees you today, favored and seated with Christ at His right hand. As you see yourself rested and seated with Christ as the son of His right hand,
God shall accelerate His blessings upon you with five times more protection, provision and favor your portion!
And all of Rock Kidz say, âI am seated with Christ at Godâs right hand and I can expect five times more blessings in my life! Amen đ!â
Rest at His right hand and accelerate,
