As a former Muslim, now agnostic person, I do know that most people that practice Islam are very kind, loving, and peaceful. I cannot say that i have personally met any radical Muslims where i’m from. However, I am also African American living in Mississippi, and my ancestors fought tooth & nail for their Civil Rights in this country, and especially in this state. I 100% do not agree with Sharia Law as i think it goes directly against what we as a country agreed on when we signed the constitution and later Civil Rights bills. Freedom of religion is good. Freedom of speech is good. Not discriminating against people based on the color of their skin is common sense, although alot of Americans are still working on that. Instituting or supporting a system that oppresses women and takes away there rights is NOT OK. I would really like for some people with an opposing opinion, to reply to this post in a civil, and polite manner as i really want to hear your take on this issue. I will not disrespect you, so don’t disrespect me.
