As many of you know, here at Dr Zigs, we do a lot more than just make our awesome Giant Bubble Toys. We are also a collection, sort, pack and shipping point for aid for refugees. Every single day we recieve donations from our amazing community. Every Wednesday evening volunteers from Pobl i Bobl gather here at Dr Zigs to help sort and pack, and then this is sent to those in need - be it to local homeless, the emergency housing team - or, the magority to refugees via CARE UK Charity (Refugee aid NW) - our closest container depot. We are one of several grassroots organisations that feed into these containers. To think that through Dr Zigs - and thanks to the purchace of every one of your bubble kits - we have fed into 46 containers of aid is nothing short of phenomenal. High summer bubbling. Time for harvest in our wild flower meadow. A great time of year; grass is cut, being turned daily to help it dry out. So lucky to live surrounded by nature and living the seasons. Summer does bring low humidity and high pollen counts, both not great for bubbles.
