Why would I want to tear off this bridge of silence between us with meaningless words? Communication is needed between two minds but when it comes to the human hearts, then speech sounds way too extravagant in comparison to the presence of a soothing silence. Hour long deep conversations may be fulfilling but have you ever experienced the joy of simply sharing silence with someone - they'll be there right next to you, perhaps with their head on your lap or your head on their shoulder or just walking side by side to one another holding hands and fingers intertwined. You don't need a word. Your souls are already in each other's keeping - what more could be exchanged...
