Idk why some people interpret Shar-Teel as a feminist just because she puts men down a lot. To me she comes across as the type of hard-ass conservative woman who calls men "pussies" and "girls" to show how tough she is. Shar-Teel isn't going to be campaigning for gender equality. Shar-Teel probably has more disdain for women she regards as weak than for men.

Another Skie/Shar-Teel piece! This was so good. It's set just before Siege of Dragonspear, where Skie has successfully passed her training in the Flaming Fist. But is joining the militia really what she wants? A chance encounter with Shar-Teel in a pub causes her to rethink.
This is a long and thoughtful one-shot, with a great take on Shar-Teel's backstory with Angelo that draws on an older version of her character biography. I also loved the delicious Viconia/Dynaheir subtext in the background of this story.
Skie has just finished her exams and training, and been accepted as a new member of the Flaming Fist! But as excited as she is about her new appointment (and about celebrating with her fellow new recruits) she’s not quite sure what to do when one of her superiors in the mercenary company takes an unusual interest in her. And she’s even less sure what to do when, by chance, she runs into several old friends from her travelling days.
