Saxon was in the library when he heard quite crying. He looked around for a source. He eventually found a young girl, crying into her knees.

It was Marin’s day off, he didn’t need to do any patrols, meet with students, or teach any lectures. He roamed the hall on the way to his office, however. He was never one to waste a moment to try and get some side project done. 

In his hand was a packet of papers with data he had collected a few months ago. His plan for today was to get some of the data analysis done on it. His off-hand carried a mug full of hot coffee, his fourth of the day, the steam rose steadily from it.

A sound broke him his paper. It was all too familiar to him, hyperventilating breaths mixed with panicked sobs. He sought out the stricken voice and came across a young student, huddled in a doorway of a vacant classroom.
