I kinda hated that female Shadowhunters were given the "house wife" role in pre-cannon cause like- a half angelic, very militaristic race of beings that can enhance their abilities with runes (regardless of gender) and they don't use half their population??? Why??

So can I skip all of the previous Shadowhunter books and start with Chain of Gold when it comes out, or will I be missing out on things??
What wrong with Cassandra Clare as a person/author?
I’m not the best person to ask this question to but basically she’s had a long history of cyberbullying (some hardcore bullying like getting people’s IP numbers and phone numbers and calling them and basically violating their privacy), there have been instances where she threatens to sue whoever speaks ill of her and also the tiny little detail of plagiarism.
As I said, I don’t have all of the facts at hand to show you the receipts, but it’s definitely a much more bigger issue than I’m making it out to be and I’ve learned to separate the author from their books otherwise I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the Shadowhunter world /:

just like their wings are a prescence, they seem to take up more space then they actually do, most of them don't enjoy their backs being constircted or hit

Aaaallllriiggghhhttt, first post back and I have finally started reading Chain of Gold!! Tumblr people I have gotten into the world of shadowhunters. I mean I have read the infernal devices and that’s about it but hey I think that still counts!
