New comic dub! Shadow gives Lanolin's chao a very… unusual name.

Shadolin is SO GOOD OMG!!!

They're both so serious and brooding and they would absolutely understand each other! At first they naturally gravitate to each other just out of generally being less involved with the wacky antics of the colourful bunch surrounding them. Lanolin feels safer around Shadow than anyone else cause he's the one person where she doesn't have to spend mental effort trying to match other people's higher energy. Like the two introverts at a party who slowwwly gradually become more comfortable around, and warm up to, each other. They could bond over bitching about whatever dumb reckless thing Sonic did this time, and I think that Shadow treats love very seriously, like he does everything else, so he would be SUPER dedicated to Lanolin once the relationship developed. I don't think Lano has ever has anyone prioritize her so strongly, so she may be taken aback at first, she might even be suspicious or think he's up to something, but if they can navigate that potentially rocky interaction I think they would come out of it completely ride-or-die for each other.

I picture them as the quiet couple who's always very physically close when in public but quite subdued, no big dramatic PDA but often holding hands or leaning against each other. Whispering inside jokes to each other, not laughing out loud but giving a quiet smirk, in fact overall I imagine their gestures and interactions would outwardly appear to be very small and subtle, but they both understand how much each seemingly minor gesture or expression really means from each other.
