“Any luck so far on your end?” He asks, his blue optics scanned the area of Detroit, hopefully inconspicuous enough to at least pretend he’s a normal helicopter.

“Nope, no autobot activity.” He hears from blitzwing, already landing to transform Into his bot mode, with starscream transforming by his side. “What about your end Lugnut?” He asks in his comm link. “Nope, no activity--.”

Megatron arched his optic ridge at this, already worried about the immediate cut off from their link. “Starscream-.”

“I know, mine too. Something is Jamming the signal.” He advised, pressing the side of his helm multiple times to confirm the state of their comm link.

“And it looks like we’re not the only ones.” He added, pointing to the human civilians who are trying to use their phones and phone booths bot got nothing. Megatron hummed at this, optics squinting in suspicion.

“This might be planned, we need to head back to base. Now!” Starscream nods, both bots transformed and flew back to their hide out, away from prying eyes and optics before they both spotted the explosions from one of Detroit’s highways.

“Megatron!”

“I see, starscream I’ll take a look you go and head back to base!” He orders, flying down to the most safest parts where there aren’t many.

And just as expected once he lands, he can confirm that the silhouette is not at all human but cybertronian. “Autobot! Show yourself at once!” He says, staring down at the shadowy silhouette with obviously red and dangerous optics.

“Well, well, well if it isn’t the prime killer himself!” The bot sneers, voice high in a sing song teasing voice, all venom and no ploy as he walks up to megatron.

Megatron growls at the mysterious bot, optics glaring and glowing dangerously blue as he readied his dual wields. “I’m no killer! I never harmed your prime-.” He stops mid sentence, optics blinking in astonishment and a little bit of awe.

The bot is silver and black, a description that of a very dangerous bot known as bumblebee…

… but he is incredibly small. So much smaller than that of bulkhead and ratchet.

Dermas are jagged and very much dangerous… but he’s so-… tiny compared to himself. “Yeah, yeah that’s what they all say! But I for one ain’t easy to sway.” The small silver and black bot stated.

“I’m here on behalf of the autobots and I won’t stop unTIL!” The small bot shouts suddenly, megatron held him out like a toddling sparklet.

“How did you get here little one?” He asks, arching his optic ridge. “Wha-?! Little!?!? How dare you-!!” The small bot shouts, kicking his legs and waving his arms.

“Where are your parental units? Are you alone??”

“I-… what?” He questions, blinking his optics in confusion at the taller mech. “You must be horrified, being all by yourself, must be worrying for your creators.”

The mechling blinked up at the bucket headed mech, confusion being more apparent in his faceplate. “I-… huh?? I don’t have creators!!” He shouts, staring daggers at the now mournful look-… oh scrap he said the wrong thing.

“No creators?!” Megatron shouts with worry, already picturing a horrible fate of this mechling’s parental units had in result to for him to live. “That’s terrible!”

“That- that’s not what-.. that came out wrong-.” He tries to explain, but megatron wasn’t hearing it and just cradled an embarrassed autobot in his restarlueus.

“I’m taking you with me, it’s not safe for younglings like yourself to be roaming around with autobots on the loose.”

… bumblebee said nothing, staring at the red insignia with a bewildered confused look on his faceplate before mentally swearing every cybertronian curse word in existence with growing heat on his hidden faceplate.

‘Scrap!! I’m so dead when the others find out where I am.’

He thinks, banging his helm lightly on the spacious palderon space as he’s being carried away like a sparkling from the destruction he caused.

Despite the comforting em field from the warframe, he isn’t gonna hear the end of it from bulkhead, ratchet, sari and prowl by the time he gets back.

With a deep exvent and burying his faceplate in the crook of the prime killer’s collar joint, he had one final prayer.

‘Primus, please let bossbot be alive somewhere so he can kill me.’

… this is the fastest I have ever written a fanfic in my life.

I uh… don’t know what to say, other than the obvious that I’ve done a request fic. @rorythehedgehog requested some more shattered glass stuff and uh… immediately I already written this one.

… it wasn’t even in the drafts and I’ve done this fic in just one day. The reason it wasn’t posted sooner? … honestly, I fell asleep and kind of forgot
