If you asked me what love was 6 years ago, I would have told you it was the best thing I was ever immersed in. An Internal light that made all my senses come to life. Life became a vibrant colorful spectrum, a fairytale, I had everything, I was powerful and happy and immortal. But imagine the one you love, love you back. A miracle, and so it was. A secret haven, two so sync’d together the world couldn’t get any better. How amazing to have one person be there for you unconditionally, all the time and not dither and you be there harmoniously for him for the intention that you just want to. Love was perfect but life needs balance. Things can only be good for so long until the dilemmas of life catch up. But don’t be fooled, life does not destroy love. Love is the purpose of life, at least that’s what I think so to be true. I say this because if you’ve felt love you’ll know the significance, you’ll know how powerful and happy you can become, but also how robustly devastating having that love be taken away make you feel. I write this with tears in my eyes but, this is a love story that was left undone. A love that has altered in essence. I’m not one to admit something like this but I’m so scared of facing life and what’s to come, especially without you right next to me. You’ve given me so much strength over all these years. It’s difficult imagining what my life would be like when it’s just me now. Even though we’re not together anymore I want you to know I love you and I always will. It’s hard finding a silver lining when nothing makes sense any longer. One thing I’ve learned in life is to embrace every single moment because change is inevitable and one will never experience the exact same moment ever again.

If you ask me what love is now, I’d tell you it’s a heartbreak waiting to happen, over and over, and only gets worse every single time it does. Should you fall in love? Honestly, once it happens and you realize how it consumes you, it’s too late. You have no choice. However, if you desire to feel great things or rather the greatest feeling, take the risk. Sometimes, even when love is present, roads might still diverge. What kind of lover would I be if I held you back from your true potential? Perhaps there’s a reason things happen; perhaps not. Perhaps time wasn’t on our side this once; perhaps it was. Maybe it’s time for me to sharpen my sword and face a few battles on my own. But know this, there will always be a place for you in my heart and in my life, always.

I am blessed to have met you and discovered beauty beyond sight. Thank you for letting me feel, thank you for being my pillar, thank you for letting me be there for you and trusting me , thank you for you, being you and everything in between.
