Youngkyun shifts out of bed as quietly as possible, but his weight lifting off the mattress is unknowingly still enough to stir you from your dreams. You barely blink open your eyes; only just enough to register that your husband has in fact left your side and gone to wash up in the bathroom. You frown before rolling over and closing your eyes, hoping that if you go back to sleep he might come join you again.
You really weren't looking forward to waking up this morning. In a few hours, Youngkyun will leave on a business trip. You don't like to admit how hard the thought of saying goodbye feels. It's only for a week. He'll be back before you know it. But you still hate the ache of separation. It feels unbearable to be apart from him, even if it's only a day or two. Marrying Youngkyun has only made your attachment to him that much worse.
You've gotten quite used to having him around all the time. And you would like to keep it that way. A week apart would have felt like nothing when you were still dating, but after being married for four years, your routines are very firmly set.
You like waking up next to him every morning. You like the hours spent every day in conversation or just quietly being in each other's space. Even if you're not in the same room, the knowledge that he is just a few steps away and living with you in the same house makes you feel warm. You like being able to hug and kiss him whenever you want without having to wait for the "right" moment as you so often did while dating.
You've noticed how much your feelings for him have only grown steadily over the years. You thought you loved Youngkyun as much as was possible when he was your boyfriend, but being able to call him your husband brought a whole new wave of feelings that makes your past seem insignificant in comparison. Youngkyun has taught you to stop overthinking when it comes to him. When you want him, you have learned you are allowed to take without hesitation. Marriage has made you bolder than you ever thought you would be. Even after so many years, your husband is still irresistible to you.
When Youngkyun steps back into the bedroom to get dressed, you quickly notice that he thinks you're still asleep. You find it adorable how he searches through the drawers of the dresser in the dark, trying to find the right pair of pants based on feeling alone. The faint light from the cracked bathroom door illuminates the side of his face to you, and you smile watching him squint as he holds up the chosen pair of pants to the sliver of light to confirm he got the right one.
He's deliberately quiet as he puts them on, still trying his best not to disturb you. If only he turned around, he would realize you're very much awake, and enjoying watching the scene in front of you. Despite the little light, you can still see the curves and contours of the muscles on his arms and back. Your mouth runs dry when he starts looking through his shirt drawerâthe light from the bathroom now shining against his back and giving you the perfect view of the ink decorating it.
You reach to turn on your bedside table lamp. The view is simply too good to be wasted by darkness. You want to see himâall of him. Long gone are your shy days, when an extra inch of exposed skin on him would be enough to make you flustered. Marriage has definitely made you bolder.
Your husband freezes at the sudden brightness, immediately turning around to apologize.
"Did I wake you up? I'm sorry, baby. I was trying to be quiet."
Youngkyun's voice is soft and sorry, like you waking up a bit earlier than you had originally planned was an egregious offense. He's always so sweet in the mornings, especially when you're still sleepy. He'll often coax you out of bed with kisses and fresh coffee. You should let him know that the sight of him shirtless is much more effective in getting you awake.
"Turn back around," you mutter simply. Youngkyun's face morphs into one of confusion, but he complies with your request anyway. You sit up, eyes focusing contently on his tattoos again.
The view is much better without the designs obscured in darkness. With the light shining against his back, you can see all the details clearly: the calligraphed text decorating his left shoulder blade, the curl of the wave that envelopes the side of his lower back, and the delicate Hebrew letters the cascade down the line of his spine.
You crawl to the edge of the bed after a moment, immediately deciding you need to be closer to him.
"Why did yâ"
Your arms circle his waist, and the rest of his sentence dies before it can reach your ears. Your fingertips are cold against his skin and a shiver runs up his spine at the sensitivity. He should have expected this to be your motive, but you're usually so sleepy in the morning, you rarely ever make any moves before you've had a cup of coffee. He assumed today would be the same. He should have known you'd be extra clingy before he goes away.
"How are you soâŠ" you trail off, breath hitting his back as you exhale. You still hold his waist with one hand, keeping him close. Your other now rests against his upper back, tracing the letters of the word "strength" on his shoulder blade.
"So what?" Youngkyun prompts quietly. His voice is slightly raspy, like your sudden forwardness knocked the air out of him and he's still trying to recover. On any other day, his question would be smug and teasing, but you note desperation in his voice to know your answer.
"âŠperfect," you complete, whispering it against his skin. Your lips find the middle of his back, right where the center of his tattoo is.
Your kiss is much warmer than your fingertips were, but goosebumps spread across his skin just the same as you trace down his spine slowly. So slow, like you're teasing him with it. You enjoy noticing the little reactions he gives you. A quiet sucked in breath, his hand coming to hold your wrist at his waist, his eyes fluttering shut because the feeling of you worshipping him like this is nearly overwhelming.
Youngkyun is quite used to giving you attention like thisâslow and so very intimate that it feels like you're the only two people in the world. The moments you return it to him are rarer. You like being bold with him, but seldom are you so deliberate in teasing him. You've always been impatient. You'd much rather devour him than spend the time slowly savouring. Things move quickly with you most of the time, but Youngkyun has a feeling this will linger for a while, and he doesn't mind that thought.
Your hand on his waist can't help exploring a little higher, feeling out the soft skin on his abdomen and travelling up to his firm chest. Youngkyun stays still, leaning in to your touch while his other hand intertwines with yours. He gives it a squeeze like it might ground him and keep him sane for a little longer, but when you gently nip his skin, he's thrown fully back into a daze of wanting and you.
When you turn him around to face you again, the expression you wear makes him breathless. You seem so mesmerized by what you seeâeyes wandering over every corner of his exposed skin like you're admiring a work of fine art. When your eyes flit up to his face, he can barely hold himself back from pouncing on your lips. Four years of marriage has done nothing to quell his desire for you. It's still as heavy and consuming as ever.
He both loves and hates that fact. How is he possibly going to survive leaving you in three hours? It's the last thing he wants to do, especially when you're looking up at him so intently, still-sleepy eyes drinking in the sight of him. You pull him forward by the waist and press a determined kiss against his stomach, just above his belly button.
"Am I being dramatic? I don't think I can survive without you for a week," you say seriously, dispersing your words with more kisses against his bare skin. He takes a slow, controlled breath in, furrowing his brow and trying frantically to find a sliver of self-control left in his being. If he doesn't, he knows that his flight will get cancelled within the next hour because it is impossible to not give in to you.
"It'll go by quickly, I promise." His words don't sound confident, even to him. Your arms tighten around his figure. "I'll call you every night."
"The bed will still be empty."
"I'll make it up to you when I'm back," he promises softly, although his eyes are already drowning in regret at having to wait that long. His palm cups your cheek, thumb caressing your skin gently. You know the touch is an attempt to switch the mood; calm the fervor that is quickly consuming both of you, and get back to the regular schedule. Because having you tempt him to stay home was not part of the plan, and you both know exactly how effective you can be in swaying him.
You know you should go along with himâaccept a hug for a minute or two and then let him go. You know you're only making it harder for him, and you should feel sorry for it. But⊠you don't. You can't. This morning, you don't want to say goodbye. You don't want to let him get dressed and then send him off. You don't want to wait another week before being in his arms again. You want to be selfish, even if it's irrational.
You decide to test which is stronger: Youngkyun's self control or your ability to make him break.
You pull him down by the back of his neck, lips finding their place against his like a lock and key; made for one another. You know he could resist easilyâpull away and tell you he really can'tâbut you're satisfied when you find him kissing back immediately. He's already giving in.
You turn him onto the bed, his back hitting the mattress and you finding your way on top of him in one smooth motion. The kiss breaks for a moment as he finds his hold on your waist. You can tell from that look in his eyes that he knows letting you do this is irresponsible. Yet⊠he's never found you hotter than right now. He's breathless already. He was already worked up from your kisses on his back minutes ago. Having your lips is a final breaking point. He feels desperate, almost delirious.
You quite enjoy this power you hold. A few simple kisses are enough to get him like this every time. Your fingertips smooth over his eyebrow and down his cheekbone. His breath stays uneven, chest rising and falling underneath your other hand pinning him down. He looks at you like you are the center of his entire world.
You can see his tattoos peeking around his waist. Your hand draws down his chest, warm skin flushed under your touch. When you reach his waist, you mark along the ink again. You could stay here for ages, tracing every line of black on his body, leaving your own marks along the designs.
He pulls your attention back before you can get lost in it again.
He kisses you like waiting another moment would have been unbearable. It's no longer slow or gentle. There's no time left for teasing or careful admiration. This kiss is messy and desperate, filled with impatience and need.
You can tell that with each passing second that his business trip is getting pushed further and further to the back of his mind until it's barely an afterthought. How could he possibly spare even a second to think about work when you're on top of him like this? Kissing him like this?
"Are you going to regret this later?" you ask breathlessly. The corner of Youngkyun's mouth lifts into a smirk, but his eyes stay soft.
"If I was going to regret it, I wouldn't have let you start."
That answer satisfies you immensely. For the next two hours, Youngkyun finds it impossible to leave the bed. Getting dressed has never taken quite this long before. He can only blame himself for giving in so easilyâfor being so weak when it comes to you.
He still says goodbye to you at the airport, somehow managing to not be late for his departure time. It's still as hard to let him go as it would have been without your interference. You'll still miss him terribly for the next week, and he'll still find himself as impatient as ever to get back home to you. Even after years, you are still not tired of loving your husband in every possible way.

Your throat tightened as you watched your husband prepare for the evening event they were expected to attend.
Even after four years together, the sight of him still left you breathless.
From the very first moment you had met him, Youngkyun had been captivatingânot just in looks, though he was undeniably handsome, but in the quiet strength of his presence, the warmth of his smile, and the way he always made you feel as though you were the only person in his world.
He was gentle, steady, and loving. He was yours.
And yet⊠that didnât stop you from being struck by him all over again, as if you were falling for him anew each day.
Your gaze followed his movements, heat rising to your cheeks as you watched him roll up the sleeves of his shirt, a small, ordinary action that somehow felt devastatingly attractive.
The satin black fabric hugged him perfectly, the top two buttons left undone to reveal the slope of his neck, the very place you had spent so many nights pressing kisses against, tracing with your lips and fingers as though he was your altar.
Your breath caught when your wandering eyes met his. Youngkyun's dark gaze held yours with ease, the corner of his mouth tugging upward.
âSomeoneâs distracted,â he said in that same gentle tone you adored, though the teasing lilt in his voice was impossible to miss as he fastened his watch. âSomething on your mind?â
Your heart skipped. It wasnât as though you didnât know, having a man like him for a husband came with its share of silent trials.
You were fully aware of the way other womenâs eyes lingered on him, hopeful, admiring, longing. They could only hope, of course. He was yours and only yours.
Still, the thought of anyone else seeing him like this, looking so devastating, so effortlessly magnetic, made a small surge of boldness rise within you.
Your heels clicked against the floor as you crossed the room, your steps confident despite the storm in your chest. His eyes followed you, curious, until you stopped in front of him.
Without hesitation, you reached for his collar, tugging him down towards you.
Surprise flickered across his face, but instinct took over. His hands slid around your waist, pulling you close, holding you as naturally as breathing.
A soft smile curved his lips the moment your mouth brushed his neck, just below his Adamâs apple, the cool sheen of your gloss a stark contrast against his warm skin. A shiver ran through him at the sensation. And then he felt it, a mark. Your mark.
âPossessiveâŠâ he teased, though the flutter in his chest betrayed the calmness of his words.
âI just want everyone to know youâre mine,â you murmured, pouting faintly as you pulled back. That pout, so disarmingly sweet paired with the fire in your actions, made him wonder, not for the first time, how you managed to be both devastatingly adorable and impossibly alluring all at once.
âReally?â His chuckle was low, affectionate, as he glanced briefly down at the watch on his wrist before lifting his gaze back to you. Suddenly, that event they were supposed to attend didn't seem as important anymore.
In one motion, he pulled you closer with one hand while his other worked at the remaining buttons of his shirt, opening it further to reveal the elegant line of his collarbones. His smirk deepened as his eyes softened on yours.
âWe have fifteen more minutes,â he said, his voice dipping, playful yet inviting.

"Han!" you sang as you walked into the massive beach house you had been in a million times before. It was an annual summer tradition.
"(Y/N)!" he gasped before running over to hug you.
You squeezed him back, your cheeks aching from how wide you were smiling. It had been a long semester of college, but at last, your freshman years were behind you.
"Ew get a room," someone said in disgust from the doorway as they entered.
You pulled away from Han to see his frustratingly childish older brother Jaeyoon. Every summer he'd snitch on you and get you in trouble or blackmail you and Han into doing his chores.
"What are you doing here?" you rolled your eyes as you smacked his hand away when he tried to playfully pinch your cheek.
He smirked but answered, "Someone's gotta buy the alcohol."
"Han..." you groaned in complaint, shocked he'd withheld the fact that your least favorite person of all time was going to be staying with you.
"Don't give me that look," he teased as he whispered, "We can just kick him out once we have the goods."
"Fine..." you sighed, knowing he was right since neither of you was 21 yet. "Just don't expect me to be nice to him or anything."
Han smiled with a laugh. "I doubt you'll even see much of him."
The front door opened again and Lee Know suddenly walked through, looking wide-eyed at the house. "Wow!"
Han turned in shock, taking off in a sprint towards his boyfriend. "What are you doing here!" he exclaimed as he crashed into him and peppered his cheeks with kisses.
"I got off work," he replied with a peck to his cheek. "I hate when we're apart."
You wanted to be happy for him...really you did. But a little detail pricked your mind. "Han..."
Han turned with flushed cheeks and his hand in an oblivious Lee Know's. "Sorry," he apologized before ushering Lee Know to his room to set up his things.
You groaned and looked down the hall, knowing only one room remained.
Jaeyoon flung his arm around your shoulder. "Need help unpacking... roomie?"
You shrugged him off and stomped to the room to put away your things. Unfortunately, Jaeyoon wasn't smart enough to leave you alone, and you could hear his footsteps following you down the hall.
You opened the door and spotted all of his clothes thrown about and turned to glare at him. "Why is it so messy?"
He shrugged. "Didn't know what to wear to the party tonight."
You scoffed and pulled on the stretched collar of his ragged t-shirt. "And you settled on this?"
He briefly looked hurt while you began making a pile of his things and organizing your own items into drawers, but suddenly appeared at your side. He crouched to be at your level and got so close to your face you could feel his breath. "This is just what I'm wearing to the store, roomie. My outfit for the party is hung in the closet."
"Well roomie...do us both a favor and buy some breath mints while you're out," you sneered.
Jaeyoon chuckled and shook his head. "What alcohol did you want?"
"Malibu," you answered.
Jae winced as if pained at the thought. "Pick something else. That's for broke college girls who don't know what real alcohol tastes like."
"Maybe it's news to you Jae, but I am a broke college girl who doesnât know what real alcohol tastes like.â
âThen let me buy you something else,â he pleaded.
You shook your head defiantly. âUnless you want to end up holding my hair all night youâll get me Malibu.â
He rolled his eyes and headed off down the hall without another word. You victoriously spun around to continue unpacking, though Jaeyoonâs outfit in the closet called to you. You stood and opened the door to see what heâd chosen to wear and were surprised to find it non-repulsive. In fact, you were pretty sure heâd worn the white knit top last summer and youâd complimented him on finally wearing big-boy clothes. You smiled at the memory until Han interrupted it.
âFuck Iâm so sorry,â he whispered, eyes anxiously checking to make sure nobody overheard. âI didnât know heâd show up andâŠI mean he took off work for the week. He wonât be here the whole summer, but for nowâŠâ
âHan itâs fine,â you told him. âJae can buy our alcohol and if he gets too weird Iâll just sleep on the couch.â
âThat couch sucks,â he reminded you. âIâm pretty sure I was conceived on that couch.â
âThanks for the visual,â you laughed and playfully shoved him. âNowâŠhow many people are coming tonight?â
âSorry again, guys,â Han apologized as he swirled his vodka and Coke in the plastic solo cup.
Lee Know put his arm around his shoulder in support. âItâs okay,â he said. âWe can just enjoy the party next Saturday.â
âI thought I double checked the dates,â he groaned as he buried himself in his hands.
âI say we make our own party,â Jae began as he turned up the music. With nobody else there, he was hard to ignore, and he danced his way to the kitchen to make more drinks. â(Y/N) only knows what Malibu tastes like, so I suggest we use tonight to show her what sheâs been missing!â he shouted over the music that was entirely too loud.
âOnly Malibu?â Han asked in surprise.
âI love California!â Lee Know grinned, unable to hear the context of the conversation.
âItâs cheap and tastes good in Coke!â you yelled back in defense.
âThatâs fair!â Han replied.
âDrugs are bad!â Lee Know scolded.
âDrugs are bad,â Jae agreed teasingly as he handed you a cup.
âWhat is it?â you grimaced as you stared into the dark mixture.
âJust drink it,â he urged as he tilted the cup.
You rushed to catch it before it spilt, and sipped something fruity and warm. âMmmm,â you hummed.
âYou like it?â he cocked his brow knowingly.
âWhat is it?â
âA sangria,â he explained.
âWhatâs in it?â you asked as you sipped more.
âRed wine, brandy, and orange juice. I also threw some berries in there.â
âWellâŠI like it,â you complimented him as you downed the rest. âCan you make me another?â
Jae took a deep breath and for a moment you thought heâd say no, but then he took the cup, skimming his fingers with yours, and stood. You found your eyes trailing after him, fixated on the swish of his hips.
âWhat was that?â Han joked.
âA sangria!â you shouted to him, cheeks blushing from the warmth of the brandy.
âOh, those are good!â Han replied.
âMy favorite is Cinnamoroll!â Lee Know cheesed.
Han smiled at him and kissed his cheek. âYouâre so cute,â he laughed as Lee Knowâs face grew pink.
âHere,â Jaeyoon offered, handing you a cup with a lighter liquid inside.
âNo sangria?â you pouted, trying to give it back.
âYouâll like this too,â he assured you, being nicer than he had in years as he turned down the music.
âWhat is it?â you asked again as you picked up and gagged at a leaf.
âA mojito,â he informed you.
âOhâŠâ you said as you stared at it, wondering what purpose a leaf had in a drink.
âTry it,â he urged again.
âCanât I just have another Sangria?â
âNo,â he shook his head. âThis is a learning opportunity. Try it.â
âIf I hate it will you make me a Sangria?â you bargained, flicking the leaf to the floor.
He sighed and rolled his eyes. âSure. If you hate it Iâll make you a Sangria.â
âOkayâŠâ you pouted as you pinched your nose shut and took a sip.
Han laughed and Jaeyoon sat back with a disappointed scowl. The chilly, mint liquid went down your throat and you pulled away, shocked.
âThatâs pretty good!â you told him as if it were news he wouldnât have known.
âYou should make her a French 75 next!â Han suggested as you sipped the mojito.
âI didnât get champagne,â Jaeyoon shrugged. âI could make a margarita.â
âSurely sheâs had a margarita before,â Lee Know defended.
All eyes turned to you, and you shyly hid behind your cup and shook your head. âWell shit,â Jaeyoon stood and immediately began making a margarita.
You stood and followed him, arguing that you werenât even done with the mojito yet.
âThen drink up, because youâre trying a margarita.â
He finished his own drink, too, and poured two margaritas out, handing one to you and keeping one for himself. He taste-tested it and nodded in satisfaction before his lips curled into a smile.
You were eager to taste what he made look so good, so you finished off the mojito and reached for the cup.
âOh fuck,â you moaned as you slapped the counter. âThatâs yummy.â
They all laughed and you followed Jaeyoon to the couch to listen to Han and Lee Know recount the story of how they met. The alcohol began to hit and made everything feel warm and nice. You zoned in and out of listening to their story, but still felt comforted by their words and exchanged glances. At some point, you stumbled to the kitchen and dumped the rest of the margarita Jaeyoon had left in the blender into your cup.
âWhoa,â Jae pulled the cup away, just as you were about to take another sip. âArenât you drunk already?â
You shrugged with a sleepy smile. ââs not like Iâm driving.â
Jae couldnât argue with that and handed it back. You grinned and kissed his cheek as you walked past him. âAnother sangria, Jae.â
He looked unsure about it but Han overheard and demanded that he and Lee Know be served one as well so Jaeyoon whipped up a round for everyone. âFinal call!â he announced as he handed them out.
âHannie!â Lee Know squealed.
Han laughed and took over the Bluetooth knowingly. âAlready on it, baby.â
Closing Time began playing over the speakers and they stood to sway together and sip their last drinks. You watched with a dazed grin until Jaeyoon appeared and offered you his hand.
Normally, youâd be disgusted by the mere idea of dancing with him, but tonight, he seemed different. You werenât sure if it was the shirt or the drinks or maybe a mixture of both, but he was charming.
âI didnât make you a drink yet,â you joked as he twirled you around.
âIâve definitely had a Malibu and Coke,â he laughed as he pulled you closer to slow dance. He sipped his drink with one hand and held your lower back with the other. You leaned against him, finding him soft and cozy and wishing you could sleep standing up.
âI think four is your limit, roomie,â he hummed as he took the cup from your limp hand to place on the counter.
You shook your head weakly in defiance, âFour is your limit, Jae Jae. I could have like sixty-twelve more.â
âSixty-twelve?â he teased, setting his own drink down too now so he could fully support you.
âMhm,â you yawned as you looped your arms around his neck. âIâm so sober right now.â
Jaeyoon breathed softly as you clutched his shoulders. His heart thudded against your cheek that had fallen against his chest, and when the song ended, he didnât even move.
At some point, Han and Lee Know had scurried off, but Jae caressed your back and cheek, swaying to nothing until your eyes fluttered open.
âIâm sleepy,â you confessed.
âI know,â he breathed. âLetâs get you to bed.â
You nodded and let him guide you, each step feeling like a battle as your feet weighed several tons now. You crawled right onto the bed and fought to remove your jeans before sinking into the warmth of the bed.
The last thing you saw before fully passing out was Jaeyoonâs shirt being pulled off his frame, his muscled form shadowed in the moonlight.
Your eyes blinked open slowly, the world coming into focus far slower than normal.
You were at Hanâs houseâŠin a bedâŠfeeling incredibly warm. You pulled back and realized you had fallen asleep on Jaeâs chestâŠhis bare chest.
âOh god,â you gasped, pulling away at the comforter to check that you were clothed. Thankfully, you were. You spotted your jeans on the floor and tried to snatch them, but Jaeyoonâs warm hand pressed against your stomach, holding you hostage against him.
âStay,â he complained, his voice low and tired.
âJae, let go,â you complained as you squirmed free, falling off the bed in the process. âWhy were you cuddling me?â
A hint of confusion flashed across his features. âYou asked me to.â
âNo I did not!â you argued. âWhy would I everâŠâ
Jaeyoon sat up and pulled out his phone. A you that you didnât recognize was sitting up in bed, eyeing him as he approached.
â(Y/N)?â he began, his voice soft and dreamy. âWhat did you just ask me?â
Your eyes shone as your voice slurred, âWanna cuddle?â before the video ended.
You sat with your jaw open, gazing at the evidence that shouldnât have existed. âI didnâtâŠI donât know whatâŠwhat IâdâŠâ
âAlcohol reveals our needs,â he said.
âOr lowers our inhibitions,â you mumbled.
âYou also kissed me,â he began, your eyes nearly falling out of your head at the news. âOn the cheekâŠâ he added.
âNo I did not!â you fought.
âYou did,â he repeated. âAnd you called me Jae Jae.â
You buried your face in your pillow, entirely too embarrassed to face him. âI did not.â
Youâd had a crush on Jaeyoon when you were younger, but as an older kid, he thought you were a pest. Still, youâd doodled Jae Jae across every notebook page that summer.
He ran his hand down your back, exactly as he had in the blurry memory of last night. âYou want me, donât you?â he asked, his voice deep and desperate.
You hadnât expected to feel like this again.
âYou were so quick to take your pants off last night,â he informed you as his hand traveled down your lower back to the curve of your ass. You couldnât think from how dizzy you felt. His touch was better than you ever expectedâŠmore sure of himself and teasing. âYou wanted to fuck, hmm?â he taunted as his finger teased your cunt over your panties.
âJae,â you moaned into the pillow, suffocating some of the desperation.
His finger moved even more until it found your clit, and he circled it expertly as you gasped and writhed, unwilling to believe this wasnât some elaborate joke.
âJae, what are you doing?â you gasped, still using the pillow to hide your needy eyes.
âRight now Iâm testing how good youâll be for me,â he smirked, eyes shining when you whipped around in shock at his audacity. âSeems youâll be good unless youâre told youâre being good, interesting.â
âJaeâŠwhat are we doing? This is ridiculous,â you breathed as you went to cover yourself with the comforter.
He pulled it off and eyed the wet spot on your panties with a bite of his lip. âTake them off.â
âJae. I just saidâŠâ You were interrupted by his moan as he wrapped his fist around his hardened cock.
You couldnât stop yourself from staring and felt a twist in your stomach at the shameless sight as he lowered his boxers and let you see all of him.
âTake them off,â he begged again as he curled his thumb around his pretty pink tip. He was already leaking.
So you gave in. You pulled off your underwear and tossed them to the bed just as he pounced. His knees bit into your thighs, holding you apart for him as his strong arms caged you in.
âIâm going to kiss you now,â he warned as his eyes gazed at your lips.
âOâŠokay,â you agreed, puckering them for him just as he leaned in.
He filled you the moment your lips touched. You whined and pressed your lips tightly to his, moaning against him as he stretched every inch of you to the extremes. You felt a tear or two fall down your cheeks from his size, and he pulled back to brush them away, caressing your cheek lovingly as he observed your reaction.
âYou okay?â
You nodded and gazed down to see his waist flat against yours. âYouâre just bigger than I thought,â you said, feeling relieved he wasnât any bigger.
He smirked and pushed in again. âSo youâve thought about me?â
You rolled your eyes and pushed his chest. âDonât flatter yourself.â
He laughed and set his pace, one that had the bed squeaking, and your lips attached to each otherâs to fight against the moans. Neither of you wanted the other to know how good they felt. But fuck did it feel good.
âIâm not ashamed to sayâŠâ he confessed between kisses. âThat I imagined this too.â
Your cheeks burned at the knowledge of that. âAnd?â you asked, wondering how you measured up.
âFuck,â he grunted. âYou feel even better than I thought you would.â He squeezed your hip and kissed you again, leaving a trail along your neck and shoulders, nibbling and biting as he pleased.
Your cunt tightened whenever he bit, and he smirked against your skin as if that was what he wanted all along.
âJae,â you breathed, your body aching from the pace. âHarder.â
âFuck youâre perfect,â he rasped as his cock thrashed into you, hitting so deep inside you thought youâd burst. You pressed your hand to his headboard so your head wouldnât hit it, and looked up at his sweaty locks framing his face and his eyes dark with lust. He looked hotâŠreally hot.
âYouâre close, arenât you?â he cooed as he caressed your pink cheeks.
You bit your lip and nodded, running your hands from his biceps to his shoulders. Every part of him was perfectly built.
âIâm gonna cum when you cum,â he warned.
âInside?â you asked, a flutter in your chest at the image of him leaking out of you.
He pressed his lips to yours. âYou want me to fill you up, baby?â
You couldnât suppress the moans anymore. Jaeyoonâs voice was so sultry that you could feel yourself leaking more for him.
âWanna feel me empty into you?â he breathed
âJae,â you whimpered as you squeezed him close and rocked your hips into his, desperately seeking your end.
He kept you secured against him with one hand, but snaked the other between you. âWhy donât you get a little louder, hmm?â he taunted just as his thumb tapped your clit.
You gasped and moaned uncontrollably, panting against his neck as he overwhelmed all of your senses.
âFuck you sound so pretty, baby. Keep going,â he urged as he grit his teeth, his jaw clenching as he fought to hold off.
âJae,â you cried, your nails digging into his skin.
âI know, I know baby. Just let go for me,â he begged, sounding needier than ever as you finally released, exploding into him in a ball of light as you clutched at his back and trembled.
Jae let up on your clit and pounded away, extending your high, until your pussy throbbing around his cock finally pulled his climax too. A rush of warmth flooded through you and he pulled back to push you against the pillow, watching your jaw open and eyes glaze over before crashing his lips against yours.
You whimpered and held him close, legs still shaking at his sides. He brushed his fingers through your hair and sat up to pull himself out and watch it all drip down your thighs.
You blushed at the thought and curled against his chest when he laid back down. He ran his hand down your still-clothed spine, smiling against your forehead when you shivered into him.
He kissed your temple and breathed, âWorth it,â so quietly that it was barely audible.
âWhat was?â you hummed, sinking deeper into his embrace.
Jaeyoon didnât answer at first and instead kissed you again before confessing, âCalling Lee Knowâs boss and telling her there was a family emergency.â
You were glad you were against his chest, because your cheeks ached from how wide you smiled.

âMany things interested her, and nothing satisfied her entirely,â
One unexpected family visit turns into one big roller coaster ride. You were supposed to come to California to visit your grandmother, but one visit turns into meeting someone you couldnât bear to be around⊠The more you wanted to be away from him, the more he showed up everywhere⊠Was it fate? Or a coincidence?
Your sister's voice rang out the moment she saw you, but all you did was stare her down, eyes still half-lidded with sleep.
First, you had just woken up. And if there was one universal rule that everyone should know by now, it was this: do not talk to you right after you wake up. Itâs like an unspoken survival instinctâbecause, for some reason, every single morning, you wake up feeling like the grumpiest person alive.
And now, here she was, demanding answers before you even had time to process your own existence. Just hearing her voice sent a wave of irritation through you. It wasnât personal. It was just mornings.
Without saying much to your sister, you removed your blanket, dragged your body off bed walked past your sister, and straight into the bathroom.
Right now, all you want to do is wake up and get yourself together. If your sister has questions, she will have to wait and ask later when you are fully awake and aware of what planet you are on.
âY/N,â you felt your sister following right behind you... She was going to keep talking to you until you responded... In other words, she was probably going to ask you so many questions until you tell her to get lost...
You got to the bathroom and walked right in closing the door. Just as you were hoping your sister would leave you alone, she suddenly began to knock on the door.
âI wonât leave until you start speaking.â You knew you had to explain this to your parents, but when did your sister become one?
You rolled your eyes and grabbed your toothbrush.
~
Getting ready was much calmer than the chaos of waking upâat least at first. For a moment, you enjoyed the silence, the slow transition from sleep to full consciousness.
But, of course, that peace didnât last long. The second you stepped out of your room, your sister was right there, waiting like a predator ready to pounce. Without missing a beat, she launched into an endless string of questions, bombarding you before you even had a chance to take a proper breath.
So much for a peaceful morning.
âWhere did you go yesterday? How can you possibly leave me?â These questions were repeated over and over. Enough was enough.
âOKAY! First, you're not my parent to ask me where I have been so get off my back. Second, why does it matter where I went? You got home safe and sound and thatâs all that matters,â you were going to keep beating around the bush just so you donât have to explain that you met SF9... Your sister's obsession.
If she found out that you even encountered SF9 you could only imagine how her reaction would be.
âI know Iâm not your parent and Iâm glad Iâm not, but I have every right to know where you went last night especially since you practically left me back there abandoned,â you sometimes tend to forget that your sister can be beyond dramatic.
âOh, come on, itâs not a big deal... I was not going to wait outside forever for you to see your husbands live. What did you expect me to do? Stand outside and stay there for hours? Of course, not so I went out and explored,â you did technically wait outside throughout the whole concert, but your sister doesnât need to know that.
âYou couldnât come back and meet me when the concert ended,â your sister continued to ask you questions and instead of answering you just walked off and left your sister to talk alone.
~
You had no idea how this kept happening, but somehow, every time you tried to enjoy some time alone⊠you ended up stuck with your annoying sister. Again.
This time, it was the beach. She had been dying to go, and of course, she wasnât about to go without dragging you along. And now, here you wereâtrapped, reluctantly tagging along, forced into a beach day you never asked for.
The waves crashed against the shore, the sun beamed down, and people laughed in the distance. But all you could think about was how you had been kidnapped into yet another unwanted adventure with your sister.
âThis time you better not go and disappear,â she doesnât have to worry about that this time... You werenât planning to meet any new people anytime soon.
You popped open the trunk, grabbing your bag and a chair, already dreading the effort ahead. With a sigh, you glanced over at your sister, hopingâprayingâthat she would help unload the rest.
But no. There she was, striking pose after pose, tilting her phone at different angles, caught up in a selfie session.
How were you two even related?
"So⊠how about some help here?" you asked, giving her a pointed look.
She met your gaze for all of two seconds, thenâwithout a wordâwent right back to taking pictures.
Wow. Just wow.
You had two choices: be the bigger person and unload everything yourself or embrace the pettiness brewing inside you and take only your things, leaving her to deal with her own mess.
It wasnât a hard decision.
With one last glance at your sisterâwho was still lost in her own little worldâyou grabbed your things, turned on your heel, and walked away. She probably wouldnât even notice. Typical.
~
"Y/N!"
You glanced over your shoulder just in time to see your sister struggling to catch up, her arms overloaded with stuff. And just like thatâwhoopsâsomething tumbled from her grasp, forcing her to stop and pick it up.
A smirk tugged at your lips. Karma.
Instead of offering to help, you simply turned back around and kept walking, enjoying the sweet satisfaction of her struggle.
By the time you found the perfect spot, you dropped your bag, immediately pulling out your towel and laying it down. The sun felt warm against your skin, the sound of the waves was relaxingâeverything was finally falling into place.
"Y/N!"
There it was againâher voice, growing more impatient. But instead of acknowledging her, you carried on, adjusting your spot and making yourself comfortable, completely unbothered.
Eventually, she stomped up beside you, clearly out of breath and annoyed.
"Are you deaf?" she snapped.
You turned to her, flashing your widest, most innocent grin. "Nope, I heard you. I just chose to ignore you."
She groaned, rolling her eyes so hard you thought they might get stuck. "I need a new sister."
You simply leaned back on your towel, grinning to yourself. Too bad. Sheâs stuck with you.

Youngbinâs Point of View
After a long day of lying to the manager and somehow managing to sneak a girl back home who happened to not be a fanâwe had pulled off more than we probably should have.
Surprisingly, we got away with it.
Since we had two concerts here in LA, plus a music video shoot coming up, the manager gave us some free time to go out and explore.
Honestly, Iâm shocked he even let us leave the hotel room. But hey, Iâm not about to complain.
âYou know what Iâm surprised about,â Jaeyoon says, looking at all of us as we walk into a beautiful beach.
âWhat?â I asked and before Jaeyoon could speak Sanghyuk interrupted and made a joke... As usual.
âThat there is a handsome guy like me on the beach? I know...â The boys all gave him a glare and he just smiled.
âNo, Iâm surprised that weâre out in the free... With no manager...â Jaeyoon says and thatâs when I suddenly felt the guys staring right at me and waiting for me to speak.
âWhatâs the catch?â Juho asks, crossing his arms and I instantly shake my head.
âThereâs no catch... I just have to make sure nothing happens to us but other than that weâre free to have fun...â I know it does sound like there is something up but for once the manager was letting us have some type of freedom...
I have no idea why he suddenly allowed us to do this, but you know what I'm not going to complain Iâll just accept it...
âWho cares, all we need to worry about is taking a break,â the guys all threw their arms up in the air and cheered.

Your Point of View
"Where are you even going?" you asked, watching as your sister stayed glued to her phone, chatting away on FaceTime with her best friend.
"Iâm going to sit in the car and talk to her because I have no privacy here," she said before walking off, leaving you completely alone.
First of all,... what? Does that even make sense?
You never bothered listening to her conversations because, frankly, they were never interesting. It was always the same topicâboys, boys, and, oh yeah, more boys.
Rolling your eyes, you turned your attention back to your book, ready to finally get some peace. You settled in, eyes scanning the page, sinking into the story untilâŠ
âWAIT FOR ME!â
âYAH, youâre taking too long!â
âSanghyuk, did you put on sunscreen?!â
âNo, because I donât need itâ
You tried to focus on your book, to lose yourself in the words, but all you could hear was complete and utter chaos.
First of all⊠why was the beach suddenly so loud? Just a few seconds ago, it had been peaceful calm, even. Now, it was as if the entire world had decided to erupt into noise all at once.
"Aigoo, Chanhee, youâre too young to understand," someone nearby called out, their voice barely rising over the commotion.
The noise wasnât dying down. If anything, it was getting worse. With a sigh, you finally snapped your book shut and lifted your gaze, scanning the beach to find the source of the disruption.
Thatâs when you saw them.
A group of nine guys, scattered across two spotsâsome near the ocean, others closer to where you sat. They were laughing, yelling, running around like kids who had just been let loose. And they were loud. So loud that any hope of finishing your book in peace had officially disappeared.
You were about to roll your eyes and look awayâuntil suddenly, your breath hitched.
Familiar faces.
Your body froze as realization hit you like a wave. You knew exactly who they were.
Oh
My
God...
The same guys from last night. They were here at the beach. The same time you were at the beach.
You froze for a moment, the realization slowly sinking in.
Without a second thought, you quickly glanced around, hoping to spot your sister. Please, not now⊠You prayed she wasnât anywhere nearby. If she saw these guys, there was no telling what kind of chaos would unfold. Your sister would forget every ounce of dignity she had and lose itâyou didnât even want to think about it.
You couldnât explain why, but you knew you had to do something. You couldnât just sit there and let this moment slip away.
Without another word, you stood up, grabbed your stuff, andâstrangely enoughâfound yourself walking straight toward them.
Before you could get any closer, one of them spotted you.
"Youngbin, isnât that the girl from last night?" one of the guys called out.
Instead of answering, Youngbinâs eyes locked onto yours, his expression unreadable.
"I think it is," Youngbin said, his voice low but clear.
And just like that, you were standing right in front of him, feeling a strange tension in the air.
"So⊠we meet again," you said, your voice steady as you locked eyes with him. But then, from the corner of your eye, you noticed another familiar face.
Whatâs his name again? Youngkyun... Whatever his name was, you felt his eyes glued to you.
"Are you sure youâre not a fan? Are you sure you didnât follow us?" The deep voice cut through the air, and you turned to find one of the guys staring you down. You still hadnât figured out their names, but youâd remember his voiceâit had that rich, almost commanding tone.
Okay, yes, this was looking bad. All of you just happened to run into each other again, but this time, it wasnât because you were some overzealous fans. You hadnât come to the beach to see them at allâyour sister practically dragged you here.
How were you supposed to know they were planning on coming to the same beach at you?
"No, for the millionth time, Iâm not a fan," you said, annoyed that they werenât listening to the words that were coming out of your mouth. You were pretty sure no matter how many times you told these guys that, they would never, ever believe you.
He raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying it.
"Then what brings you here?" Youngbinâs voice was calm, but there was an intensity in his gaze that made you feel like all of them were silently waiting for your answer.
You took a deep breath, trying to stay composed despite the growing tension.
"Look," you started, your voice firm, "I was here on the beach before any of you showed up and disturbed my peace and quiet." You gestured vaguely toward the chaotic group. "But thatâs not the point. The point is, I came here with my younger sister, and if I were you, Iâd leave before she finds you all."
You were trying to be nice, trying to warn them before something chaotic happened. But at this point, you werenât sure if theyâd take your adviceâor if your sister would just explode when she found them.
You love your sister and all, but you know how she is, and you donât think you'll be able to calm her down the moment she lays her eye on them... To be honest, just thinking about the possibilities are scary and very risky.
âWhere is she?â Youngbin asks, looking over to where you were sitting.
"She went back to the car to talk to her friend over the phone. Itâll take a couple of hours, but if she sees you guys, she will chase you down without a doubt," you explained, watching as Youngbin looked at Youngkyun. The two exchanged a glance before bursting into laughter.
Okay, what was so funny?
"What?" you asked, confused by their sudden amusement.
One of the guys turned to you, flashing a grin.
"Look, I know you probably came over to become friends, but if you wanted to hang out, all you had to do was ask, âJaeyoon said casually, throwing an arm over your shoulder.
Wait. What?
Did they seriously think you were lying? And here you were, trying to help them avoid the chaos that was about to unfold, and now they were acting like you were the one who had come to bother them?
You bit back a sigh, a small smile forming on your lips, though it didnât quite reach your eyes.
"Youâre right..." you said, keeping your tone light. "Iâm sorry to bother you boys. You all enjoy your day."
With that, you gently removed Jaeyoonâs arm from your shoulder, stepping back and walking away.
If they didnât want to believe you, fine. But at least you could leave knowing youâd tried to warn them.
You headed back to your towel, your mind already made up. You laid down, opened your book, and let yourself drift back into the story, choosing to ignore the chaos behind you.

You headed back to your towel, your mind already made up. You laid down, opened your book, and let yourself drift back into the story, choosing to ignore the chaos behind you.
The deeper you got into your book, the more intense it became. Each turn of the page had you hooked, your eyes practically glued to the words untilâ
"Y/N."
You blinked, reluctantly tearing your gaze away to see your sister standing over you, finally back from her never-ending phone call.
"Wow, for a second, I thought you left," you muttered, barely looking up as you flipped another page.
She let out a deep sigh. "No, my best friend just went through a really bad breakup, and she was tâ"
Silence.
Your brows furrowed as you finally looked up at her. Wait. Why did she stop talking?
One glance at her face, and you already knew. That lookâthe wide eyes, the frozen expression, the way she seemed on the verge of imploding.
Oh no. She saw them.
SF9. Just now.
"Y/N⊠Y/N⊠P-please, tell me Iâm not dreaming," she whispered, her voice trembling with excitement.
You sighed, sitting up and casually glancing over at the group of boys running into the ocean like overgrown children, laughing without a care in the world.
"Stop. Donât even thâ" But before you could finish your sentenceâ
"KANG CHANHEE!!"
Her scream pierced through the air like a siren, echoing across the beach.
Every single one of the boys froze. Heads turned. Eyes locked onto your spot.
Well. This was happening.
You could step in and try to tame your sister, help those guys escape the chaos that was about to unfoldâŠ
But then again⊠they didnât believe you earlier. And now?
Now, they were about to suffer the consequences.
Sucks for them.
With a smirk, you leaned back against your towel, flipping open your book once again.
Silently you grabbed your book and laid back down. Your sister was running to the boys and instead of watching all of this happen, you decided to mind your business.
âCHANHHE!!â You tried to read but you were pretty sure you heard your sister scream.
Oh, these boys...
You glanced over to see the mess that was being made and you saw how the guys looked so petrified. They were all running in different directions, but your sister was mostly aiming for Chanhee...
Something inside of you felt like you needed to do something, but you continued to think back at how the boys treated you... Did they really need your help?
One side of you was telling you to mind your business and carry on with what youâre doing but the other side said something completely different... It was telling you to get up and go control your sister and if you canât do that then go find a way to help them.
As you hesitated a bit you closed your book and sighed.
Why are you even bothering to help?
You sat up and slowly got up on your two feet. Your sister was out of control. She had her phone out grabbing on the boys trying to take pictures with them by invading their personal space.
Aish... As you were walking closer to your sister suddenly the situation became more chaotic than you thought...
Just when you thought you had to help these boys control your sister, you suddenly noticed more teen girls approach the boys. Oh wow...
This whole situation was about to turn worse than it was just a few seconds ago.
They were now crowded by young teen girls hovering over them asking them for pictures and attention. Wow... Do you even want to go and help now?
Probably not... But even though you didnât want to, you knew you had to.
What can you possibly do to keep these girls distracted... You silently stood there thinking and thinking... Okay, now you have to reflect on the conversation you have had with your sister...
What group did your sister mention that she liked besides SF9... As you tried to gather your thoughts you suddenly remembered a group and decided to take a risk.
Shit if only you paid attention to your sister more you wouldnât be struggling over here... You thought over and over and as you began to reflect you suddenly remembered a group that has been talked about a lot...
What is that damnâs group name.. RIGHT!
âOh my god is that BTS!â You shouted and you looked around and pointed to a random group of guys.
As soon as the fangirls heard BTS, everyone looked over at you and then at the direction that you were pointing. They all ran over to the random group of guys and without thinking twice even your sister ran which was quite a shocker. However, instead of standing there and thinking about what just happened you grabbed your things and ran over to the boys.
They were all gathering their things getting ready to escape. As soon as you approached them they looked startled and then calmed down a bit when they saw it was you.
âI have no idea why I am even doing this but... I am going to help you all out of here before those girls realize BTS is not here,â you said looking at them, and then Inseong spoke up.
âI donât know about the boys, but I will apologize on my behalf for not believing you,â Inseong speaks up and says looking right at you. To be honest you were shocked to hear such words from any of the boys.
âLook... We can talk about this another time or not, but if you donât want to continue getting mobbed I suggest we all try to escape.â You have no idea how on earth you were going to escape with all of them...
Maybe you should have thought of a plan before trying to help them out...
âUh... Iâll think of something just to follow me,â you said looking at the boys they looked unsure but as they took one look over at the group of fangirls they didn't hesitate after that.
As you all were speed-walking away from the beach, you pulled out your phone and quickly asked for an Uber.
Right now you need to help these boys all escape... You were hoping it was big enough for all of them... As I looked at your phone you noticed that you had to wait 5 minutes... Holy shit, there is not enough time to just stand here and wait...
You looked around and spotted a random woman smoking outside her car...
What the hell are you even thinking...
Desperate times call for desperate measures...
âExcuse me!â You walked over to the lady, and you could feel the boys following behind you.
âUm... Can I help you?â She asks confusedly as she drops her cigarette to the ground.
Shit... This was extremely risky to ask but you were willing to ask regardless...
âLook I know this is stupid of me to ask but I am willing to take the chance to ask you if I can borrow your car right now... itâs urgent,â you said looking at the lady and you continued to stare at her waiting for her to say something or do something but all she continued to do was stare at you.
âYou want to borrow my car?â She asks basically repeating what you just asked.
âYes...â Itâs too late now to back away from this conversation.
âUm...â she looked behind you and noticed all 9 standing right there. The both of you looked over at her car and she began to hesitate.
This was such a bad idea...
âLook Iâm sorry it was s-â Before you could finish with your train of thought she cuts you off.
âSure why not, just as long as you bring it back later. Iâm about to meet up with some friends and Iâm probably about to drink so Iâll give you my address and you can drop it off tomorrow,â she pulled out her phone and you looked at her completely shocked.
What?
That really worked?!
She gave you her address and before you knew it you made all the boys go into the minivan. Although not all of them were able to fit, they had no choice but to sit on each other's laps.
You ran over to the driver's seat and in a matter of seconds, you were off driving far as away as you could.
Why is it that every time you bump into SF9 something crazy happens... You have a strange feeling about them...

It didn't take long until you were leaning with your palm pressed against your forehead, staring at the bottom of your glass in a daze.
You had been sitting on the same barstool for little over two hours now, wallowing in self pity. You had heard that Inseong had moved on a lot faster than you had and that he was already dating again. You had seen him around campus a few times, but anytime you saw even just a hint of him you bolted out of the immediate area, going far, far away.
You had made eye contact with him only once since the break-up: the day after, in the cafeteria, when you saw him smiling and flirting with a girl from your class. He had turned around and immediately met your eyes. It took exactly .1 seconds for you to burst into tears, rushing out of the cafeteria to avoid embarrassing yourself further.
The whole of your grade and the grade above knew that you had been dating Inseong and that meant that they knew you had broken up... More like you had been dumped, but asked for specifics, right?
You scoffed as you poured another round of soju, smacking away Youngbin's hand when he tried to get the bottle away from you.
"You've had enough to drinkâ"
"I've had enough to drink when I've said I've had enough to drink," you warned your friend in a low voice, glaring at him. Youngbin looked at you worriedly, sighing while running a hand through his hair. "Just⊠Go have some fun, Youngie. I'll be fine," you assured him in a softer, gentler tone.
Youngbin bit his lip in thought. "Promise you'll stay here so that I can take you home later?"
You nodded with a drunken smile, holding out your pinky finger. âPromise."
You giggled stupidly when the two of you connected your thumbs together in a signature 'stamp' move. Youngbin then left you to sulk on your own. Good. He deserves to have some fun.
In your drunken state, you couldn't notice the way Inseong eyed you from the pool table, his hair falling into his face just the way you used to like it.
Inseong sighed, putting down his stick and walking over to you. He stopped in his tracks when he was pulled back by a hand on his wrist.
"Where are you going?" Jaeyoon asked seriously, looking at his older friend questioningly.
Nodding his head in your direction, Inseong turned back to look at Jaeyoon. "I'm going to take her home," Inseong said, jerking his arm out of Jaeyoon's grip.
"You know that's a bad idea, right?"
"And why's that?" Inseong asked pointedly, clenching his jaw.
"It's Y/N, for goodness sakes! Your ex, remember? The one you dumped?"
"I didn't dump her," Inseong defended, rubbing his temples. "I broke up with her."
"Hyung," Jaeyoon said, leaning against his pool-stick for emphasis. "You told her you liked someone else and wanted to break things off to be with her. You dumped her."
Inseong sighed deeply, turning away while rolling his eyes exaggeratedly.
Jaeyoon scoffed in disbelief, shaking his head while watching his friend walk off in annoyance. "He never listens to me," he sighed, heading back to the pool table.
"Y/N?"
You froze.
You'd recognize that voice anywhere. Hoping you were hallucinating, you downed the last bit of your drink before going to refill it. The soju bottle, however, was tugged out of your hand and put on the far corner of the table. "I think you've had enough to drink, don't you agree?"
You turned to look at Inseong with a grimace, anger boiling in your chest. Inseong flinched at your hard gaze, not used to your cold staresâalways expecting the warm and loving gaze he was so used to.
Clenching your fists, you stared him down. "What do you want, Inseong?"
He winced. You used to call his name lovingly, but here you were spitting his name like it was venomous. "I'm going to take you home, Y/N. You're wasted and someone might take advantage of thatâ"
"And?" you snapped coldly.
"And? Y/N, what's gotten into you?" Inseong asked angrily, his voice raising slightly. You winced, shrinking in on yourself. Inseong sighed, his eyes softening. "I'm sorry for raising my voice, but please," he paused, gently tilting your head up to make you look at him. "Don't say something like that again," he begged.
You nodded, almost falling all over again. You jerked away from him, clearing your throat. âI can't go with you."
"Why not?"
"Youngbin told me to stay here," you said matter-of-factly, recconnecting your eyes. Inseong froze slightly at the mention of Youngbin. Even while the two of you were dating he had felt somewhat insecure about your relationship with Youngbin. He felt that he liked you more than just a friend, and it made him nervous. Jealous, even.
He grimaced as he replied. âAnd you're listening to him why?"
You smiled sadly. âStill don't like him, huh?"
Inseong stayed silent, not having a good enough comeback to back himself up.
"So... Where's your new girlfriend?" you asked bitterly, staring at the bottom of your glass again.
"BamBam said you were dating someone?" you said, your brow raised in disbelief.
Inseong scoffed, muttering under his breath. âI met a girl, yes, but we're not dating."
"Why not?"
"Because she's not you."
You paused. What?
"Excuse me?" you asked slowly, tears forming in the corners of your eyes.
"I miss you too, you know? It's not justâ"
"Where'd you get the nerve?"
Tears ran down your cheeks in long, hot streaks, catching people's attention. One of whom was Jaeyoon, who ran for Youngbin.
"I'm human, Y/N! I'm hurting too!" Inseong yelled, standing up. You got up from your chair as well, staring at him with pure anger.
"I don't care how bad it hurts, Inseong!" you shouted back, people turning their heads to stare questioningly. Inseong stayed silent as he watched you, nails digging into his palms. Sniffling, you looked down. âI don't care how bad it hurts, because you broke me first."
"Y/N..." Inseong whispered, reaching for you before being pushed back.
Youngbin stood in front of you protectively.
"Leave her alone, Inseong. You've done enough," he snarled, turning around and hugging you to his chest.
Inseong's jealousy and guilt flared up as he could only watch you walk away with Youngbin... Watch you cry.
"I'm sorry," Inseong muttered, looking down as tears rolled down his face, sinking down onto his knees.
