SF9 saying "I love you” for the first time

▸ Kim Youngbin The realisation that he loves you would make him feel very bubbly and joyful, he would feel like there would be nothing that could upset him. Youngbin would control himself very well when he confesses, although there wouldn't be much to hide or keep in control, as he would be composed and peaceful. He understands well that strong and big words can lead to a very big reaction, so he would make sure that you don't get overwhelmed. He would look you straight in the eye when he confesses. Youngbin would not expect you to say "I love you" back immediately, but if you end up doing so, his heart would skip a few beats. He'd hug you till his heart rate gets back to normal.

▸ Kim Inseong Had you not told him that you love him first, once he had figured out that he loves you, he would immediately start thinking about how he should approach the situation. At first, he might plan on waiting in case you want t tell him you love him first, but his feelings are too strong, so he would eventually decide on being the first to confess. Once he had made the decision, he would be quick to confess. It wouldn't be something exceptional, but his words would be touching, you two might cry a little. Inseong understands that sometimes loving someone is easy, but it's much harder to say it out loud, so he wouldn't have a problem with you not saying it back.

▸ Lee Jaeyoon There is only one way him confessing his love to you could go and that would be you two cuddling, being all mushy and sweet, you melting in his arms. He would be kissing your forehead and playing with your hair, Jaeyoon would make sure that you feel safe and comfortable at all times, but especially now. If he happens to get cold feet, he would probably wait for you to get a little sleepy and then tell you he loves you. He would do a little introduction, before confessing, something along the lines of "I want you to know that I am so grateful for being with you, you make me so happy...". He would look and act very confident, but you could also see his cheeks turning red.

▸ Lee Sanghyuk In Dawon's head he can't tell you that he loves you in the middle of grocery shopping, something would need to happen. His feelings would have to take the best of him. He would tell you after/during a big event, when he's feeling particularly proud of you, when he's worried about you, when you are vulnerable. He'd start talking about how much you mean to him and in the middle of talking he'd say it. He would be startled by his words, but would quickly hug you and continue with the praising, using less strong words. Dawon wouldn't expect you to say it back, he knows that feelings take time and you can't force things like confessing your love.

▸ Baek Juho Zuho is so romantic, he would probably ask you on a date to tell you he loves you. He would have probably figured out that he loves you not so long ago, but he never found the right time to confess. The date wouldn't be something big and spectacular, but he would make sure to make it sweet and special for you. He would act very confident, but inside he'd be super flustered. Zuho wouldn't expect you to say that you love him back immediately or just a little while after he had confessed. Still, he would be slightly disappointed if you don't, but he definitely wouldn't get mad, he knows that love doesn't work like that.

▸ Kim Seokwoo Rowoon is a very emotional person, so the moment he figures out he loves you, he would be driving to you to confess. In case he is not in town, he would wait till he can tell you in person, he wouldn't do it over the phone, although it would be hard for him to control himself. Once he would get to you, he would hold your hands and sit you down. Rowoon would be quite tense and red in the face, he might even stumble over his words, but he would be very sure of himself when he'd finally tell you he loves you. After the confession, he would probably say something like "Please, don't feel pressured to tell me you love me know, I want you to say it on your terms." But if you say it back, he'd probably cry a little.

▸ Yoo Taeyang He would want to confess, but he would never feel like it is the right time, to the point that it could take him months to tell you that he loves you. You might quite literally end up saying "I love you" first. Taeyang would be very assured in his feelings, but still, he would find it hard to voice them out as he would want to make this moment perfect. Once he figures out that there is no such thing as a perfect moment, he would quickly confess to you. Taeyang would be very calm and would make you feel appreciated, he would always choose the right words, but especially in this situation. In his opinion, it would be most important that he lets you know how he feels. Taeyang wouldn't mind if you don't say it back right away.

▸ Kim Youngkyun Expressing his emotions is something Hwiyoung has a bit of a hard time with, so it would take him quite some time to confess. He would probably hold his emotions out of fear, as he would think that you would find him clingy. At some point he would finally come to the realisation that being in a relationship means no secrets and being open, so he would talk to you about the way he feels. Hwiyoung would prepare what he planned to say to you in front of a mirror, but when it is finally time to confess, he would say everything but what he had prepared and practised. He would be so anxious, he wouldn't even look you in the eye while confessing.

▸ Kang Chanhee Telling you that he loves you would be quite hard for him as it would mean to be vulnerable and open about his feelings and he is not particularly good at that. He would be in a situation where he could simply let himself be emotional, so it would be either after a very important event or when he is sick, tipsy, etc. There wouldn't be any big confession, he would just say "I love you" and wait for you to say it back. He would kinda regret that it happened under such circumstances, but at the same time, he would know that had it not happened like this, it would've probably taken him months, if not years, to gain the confidence to say it.
