Summary: stuck at home with Chani on an important date.

The tempest obligated you and Chani to stay home. That was the last thing you wanted to do for your relationship anniversary. The occasion had Chani dressed like a distinguished man after so much time. Truth being said you used to see him in very informal clothes every time. His excuses alternated between working with dance and being too tired to pick a stylish outfit for a date with you. When you make a minimal complaint, he straight up pouts and asks whether you stopped loving him.

"Well, I've put on this fancy shirt for nothing" he whined after a dreadful sequence of thunders.

You chuckled behind him, your arms circled him while the side of your head leaned on his back. "That wasn't for no reason, you look stunning as you should."

You could not see but he bit on his lower lip. "Yet, we aren't going to that restaurant. I didn't expect the rain to be a storm. Are you afraid, baby girl?"

"No. You are protecting me"

"You are so flirty today. Lemme look at you"

He softly guided your arms off his middle and turned around to put his eyes on your figure. You were equally refined if not more than him. Surely more than him, he pondered. A fat lightning probably crashed because the amount of glow that entered the window and emphasized your beauty was not normal.
