This repair job is no fun right now, though it will be worthwhile in the end. I bought this quilted jacket several years ago at a thrift store for $17. It had never been worn. I have worn it's so hard that the quilting has come undone, and the collar/ cuffs wore through. It was created with a polyester synthetic lining, which makes things sweaty at times. I decided to remove/replace the lining while repairing the rips. I started ripping out the lining this July. I set it aside for a while, since the weather was good. Now I really need it, so I'm working a little harder. I am not enjoying it at all.
