Completed commission: Princess Zelda Gown! 🔥2020 COMMISSIONS WILL BE OPENING VERY SOON.🔥 I really loved making this one, the colors are like candy! The majority of the dress is ombre chiffon, the shoulder/neck purple to pink ombre was airbrushed since it was a much smaller area. Underskirt is purple to pink, overskirt is dusty pink fading to a violet. The bodice & draping fabric in the back is fuchsia/purple shot silk dupioni, lace up back with the logo satin stitched on. Hand affixed crystals in twilight at the top, gold on lower areas. Seems like Critical Role time! This is a Jester commission I just recently finished, it was really fun to make! The under-dress is very full, ombre cream to pink with applique flowers. Draped open sleeves. The skirt is 4 panels to reveal the under dress. Bodice of faux leather that laces up the back for best fit, soft spandex forest green leggings. 2 belts, one a thick braided rope with hand sculpted ornament on the end, the other faux leather with pattern hand stenciled on and functional pouch. Wide shoulder belt with hand made pin, and wool hooded capelet with handmade pin. The boots are a faux suede with laces to cinch the fit in, and the fingerless gloves were also included! I loved making this! I am going to be pushing really hard to take on more commissions for things that I love, and hopefully more ornate things. I made this Symmetra commission based on the original magical girl design by @lackless (such great art, check her out) for @chocolatechainsaw! I can't WAIT to see her in it!! The bodice is made from a beautiful aqua taffeta, boned & laces all the way up the back for the best possible fit. It's a long bodice, covering both the front & rear all the way down. There is a gradient of deep blue that I faded down to the bright aqua color, with the gold asymmetrical design on the right breast. I also a fixed crystals spreading from the center of the bodice out. There is a top part made of sheer stretch mesh, gold collar which has closure in back. There is one puffy sleeve made of satin, & one long black spandex sleeve for her to affix her armor pieces to. The skirt is also made of the bright aqua taffeta, with 4 inch horse hair in the hem to give it some extra body. It fades down to the same dark blue gradient, & has crystals all the way around the bottom of the skirt up to the midway point. There's a little tulle built into the back for a bit of extra volume. This attaches to the bodice & has a puffy layer of glissinette around the hips/back. For the jewelry, I hand painted flowers that I cut out of foam, installed LED lights in them, & they pin onto the dress with the gold chain. The headpiece has the same kind of flowers, with crystals set in each one, & the earrings are a metallic silver lace with crystals affixed to them.
