Six 6 Sevres Style Hand Painted Miniature Portraits On Porcelain, Continental France, Late 19th Century To The Very Early 20th Century, Each With Matching Cobalt Border With Gilded Scroll Decoration And Mounted In Reticulated Brass Frame With Laurel Wreath And Greek Key Motifs, Back Of Porcelain Plaques With Some Manufacture Markings, All With Wear Consistent With Age And Use Including Minor Rubbing Of Enamel.
Mademoiselle De Fontanges, Madame De Genlis, Madame Du Barry, Madame Du Montpensier, and two more not identified female portraits. Artists Signing Are Eduard Tenner (1830–1901), Josef Resch (1819 - 1901).
Dimensions Plaque Diameter 3 inches, Frames 5 x 3.75. All measurements are approximate. Antique Condition. Surface wear and age. Tiny Chips on some edges. Some have the wooden backs, others dont. Sold exactly as pictured.
