“Welcome. It’s a pleasure to have you join us here.. and I’m sorry about your former office.”
A large wooden desk with a few tan files sat inbetween ☁️ and his new boss. Shedding beams into the room, the sun’s golden rays illuminated the frosted glass surrounding the two. ☁️ shook his head lightly, him then smiling at the older woman.
“It’s no problem. As long as this department isn’t anything like the other, this’ll feel like a promotion.” ☁️ brushed his hand against his navy blue sweater and sighed. “Thank you for having me.”
“Like you said, this is kind of like a promotion. I expect great things from you.” The boss stood up as a soft knock erupted from outside of the office. A man with long-ish blonde hair walked in and smiled- first at the boss, and then to ☁️.
“This is who you’ll be assisting. Felix will give you written pieces and ask for revisions until he sees that it’s fit to be published. Unfortunately, we are short staffed by choice, so the work load will be a lot. Please keep up with the given tasks and their deadlines. Felix?”
☁️ turned his head back to the man.
“Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Lee Felix and I’ll be taking care of you. I look forward to working with you.”
☁️ simply smiled and spoke a shy “hello,” as he stood up. “I’m ☁️, it’s nice to meet you as well.” He then thanked the boss for her time and followed Felix out of the room.
“Behave, Felix!” The boss shouted as ☁️ stepped out of the room behind the man. He followed Felix down the left side of the large room, stopping at a set of cubicles that sat against a wall of windows. Started from the floor and touching the ceiling, the view displayed a bustling city. The cubicle was light gray and quite large, with a grey laptop located on the desk inside. Felix walked in and pulled out the large cushioned chair, and looked around awkwardly.
“So.. this is where you’ll be spending a majority of your day. Since it’s so spacious there’s only two cubicles located against the wall on this side of the room. My area is directly in front of yours.” He pointed over the cubicle wall. “If you ever need anything, please just walk over or.. just look over it. Sound good?” Felix explained, his voice soft yet sonorous.
☁️ nodded and smiled bashfully. Felix was remarkably good-looking, which was unusual for an office setting such as this one. The man was pretty much ☁️’s type, too, making him even more nervous than he already was.
“Yes. Thank you, Felix.”
Felix smiled and nodded to the man before leaning against the cubicle’s entrance. He dug his hands beside his white button-up and down into his black pant’s pockets, waiting for ☁️ to sit down before responding.
“Of course. I’ll let you get used to the office before I ask you to do work.”
☁️ acknowledged what he said by nodding and smiling.
After Felix left, ☁️ opened the new computer and typed in his passcode information. For some reason, the office wifi wouldn’t connect, though. After trying for another minute, he stood up and peered over the wall to see a sitting felix.
“Felix?” ☁️ asked, his nose just barely peaking over the wall. Felix smiled and stood up to look over the wall as well.
“What’s up, love?” He asked, placing a hand on the edge to support his weight. ☁️ was initially taken aback by the pet name, but ultimately didn’t mind.
“I can’t get onto the wifi for some reason. Is there a different one that you use?”
“Oh yeah, sorry about that. I guess our tech guy forgot to set that up for you. Jisung always forgets.”
☁️ watched a Felix closed his computer and then made his way back over to his cubicle. As a result, the man sat back down and perked his back up to fixed his posture. Felix strolled in after a few seconds and leaned into ☁️’s computer, his body softly brushing against the man’s shoulder. ☁️ couldn’t take his eyes off of Felix’s side profile as he typed into the computer.
“All right, you’re all set.” He cooed, brushing against ☁️ once again. As Felix was about to leave the cubicle, ☁️ shot up and grabbed his hand. Surprised, he stopped and turned around, still holding ☁️’s hand.
“Sorry if this is weird to ask, but..” ☁️ paused and tilted his head. “Do you have a girlfriend?”
“Oh, no.. not really my type if you know what I mean..”
“Oh okay.. then do you have a significant other- or something?” ☁️ asked.
“No,” Felix smiled and tightened his grip on ☁️’s hand. “but I think I kinda have a crush.”
☁️ knew exactly what he meant and mentally blushed. “Same here. Maybe we could go out sometime?”
“For sure. What’d you have in mind?”
“Would you wanna.. come to my place?”
Felix looked to the side, and then back to ☁️. “We don’t have to wait. Here, follow me.” He said, leading ☁️ into a storage room a few feet away from their work areas. Though the lights were extremely dim as the two hurried in, ☁️ could see the many drawers, bulletin boards, and spare furniture. Felix lightly closed the frosted door and somehow locked it from the inside, him then turning his attention to ☁️. He grabbed ☁️’s hands and held them in his own.
“Do you mind?” Felix asked as he raised one of the man’s hands to his mouth, kissing it. ☁️ shook his head and wrapped his arms around Felix’s neck, Felix reacting by guiding ☁️’s back into the wall behind him. ☁️ pushed Felix’s head forward, allowing the man’s lips to meet his own. Felix’s hands ran down ☁️’s torso, then settling on his hips as ☁️ began french kissing. Felix’s grip on the man’s waist tightened the deeper they kissed, with Felix’s bulge now rubbing against ☁️’s. A few seconds later, Felix pulled away from ☁️- strands of his blonde hair having fallen over his eyes.
“Come over here.” Felix instructed, using a hand to drag ☁️’s wrist over to a small table sitting against the wall. Felix gently pushed ☁️’s shoulder down as he leaned back on the table, leaving ☁️ to fall onto his knees. With a growing bulge right in front of his face, it was only natural for ☁️ to begin unbuttoning the man’s pants.
“Ah.. you’re excited, aren’t you?” Felix teased, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. He ran a finger through ☁️’s hair as the man exposed his dick print, ☁️ then pulling the pants down to Felix’s ankles. Felix began unbuttoning his white top as ☁️ stroked the man’s boner through his gray underwear.
“Can I take it out?” ☁️ asked, continuing to caress it. Felix finished unbuttoning his top, displaying sculpted abs much to ☁️’s liking.
“Go ahead.”
☁️ slowly pulled the man’s underwear down, not anticipating getting smacked by his length.
“Oh, sorry.” Felix laughed. ☁️ rolled his eyes and smiled, him then beginning to stroke Felix’s cock, the man softly whimpering as he did so. ☁️ grinned at the reaction, placing Felix’s dick inside of his mouth and slowly throating it. He leisurely bobbed his head up and down as Felix threw his head back, practically moaning out now.
After a few seconds of steady swallowing, Felix quickly grabbed ☁️’s head and yanked it back. His dick fell out of the man’s mouth dripping in saliva.
“Sorry, I didn’t want to finish yet.” Felix said, kneeling down to match ☁️’s eye level. “Can I get some of this too?” He whispered as he got closer to ☁️, him then reaching behind the man and squeezing his ass.
“Oh, do you have a condom?”
Felix reached behind him and magically pulled out a wrapped condom and a tiny bottle.
“Of course.”
☁️ furrowed his eyebrows and muttered an “alright.” as he followed Felix’s action of standing up. Felix’s skinny dick was still hard and poking out in front of him. Pulling his own pants and underwear off with quickness, ☁️ placed a hand on Felix’s chest.
“You can sit or lay on the table if you’d like, or you can-”
“You should let me do the work.” ☁️ murmured, softly pushing Felix back. Felix smiled and nodded, sliding back to sit on the table. He rolled the condom over his dick as ☁️ climbed on top of him, the man placing his knees beside each of Felix’s thighs. Waiting for him to pour the liquid onto his dick, ☁️ wrapped an arm around Felix’s neck- the man’s chest inches from Felix’s face.
“Alright, go ahead.” Felix muttered, placing his hands on ☁️’s waist and guiding the man down onto his cock. As his pink tip slipped in, ☁️ moaned out and tightened his grip around Felix’s neck.
☁️ now sat entirely on Felix’s dick, moaning softly as he took his time to undulate on it. The two huffed and whimpered as ☁️ began moving steadily on Felix’s dick, with ☁️’s chest still inches from the man’s mouth.
“That’s good.” Felix whispered, his eyebrows furrowed and his ajar lips producing silent moans. ☁️ felt Felix’s lips on his nipple a second later, him sucking and licking as the man bounced. ☁️ sped his undulating form up as Felix moved his hands down to ☁️‘s ass. Guiding him up and down even faster, ☁️ quickly became overstimulated. His knees buckled and he fell into Felix, who pulled away from the man’s nipple and placed his chin into ☁️’s neck.
“Can you keep going?” Felix hummed into ☁️’s ear, rubbing up and down his waist as he waited for an answer. After another few seconds, ☁️ pulled away from Felix and planted a kiss on his cheek.
“Yeah, you can keep going.”
Felix nodded, pulling ☁️ into him and wrapping both of his arms around ☁️’s waist. As Felix began thrusting softly into him, the man wrapped both arms around Felix’s neck. Felix grunted as his thrusts picked up in speed, filling the room with the sounds of clapping and ☁️’s whimpers. Both of their moans hummed in each other’s ears, pushing the two to the brink of finishing.
Felix continued shoving the man onto his dick despite feeling ☁️’s knees buckle for a second time. As ☁️ felt his leaking dick brush against Felix’s rough abs, he threw his head back and gasped. He ejaculated, painting Felix’s abs in a glistening white liquid. The man thrusting into him noticed, and became even more turned on, using all of his force to drill into ☁️.
“I-I’m cumming.” Felix gasped. After a few more seconds of harsh and sloppy thrusting, Felix forced ☁️ onto the entirety of his length, filling the boy up with his semen.
The two breathed heavily in front of each other before Felix fell back onto the table, pulling ☁️’s arm as he did so. ☁️ fell on top of him, his energy drained. The man pulled Felix’s dick out of him and slid the condom off, bringing it in front of him so that he could tie it and throw it aside.
“I would’ve lasted longer if you weren’t so cute.” Felix muttered, stroking ☁️’s arm as the two laid still.
“It’s okay, there’s always next time.”
“Yeah.. and I’ll be sure to take you out to dinner beforehand.”
☁️ chuckled at the comment, planting a kiss on Felix’s puckered lips. “I’d like that.”
“I would too, love.”

Sunlight gleamed through the trees above as ☁️ sat alone at a table, his computer buzzing softly. A gentle breeze brushed against his hoodie, cooling the boy in this unusually hot spring air.
The sound of someone clearing their throat caused ☁️ to jump, him then noticing a man standing opposite to where he sat. The man placed his brown satchel onto the seat as ☁️ lowered his computer screen.
“Hello, are you ☁️?”
“Hello-oh...”
☁️ lifted his gaze from his computer to the man, looking him up and down. He was tall and handsome with long dark hair and blue eyes. His muscular build was visible through his blue shirt and black jacket. The boy assumed he was simply another student- a hot one at that.
“Oh? Are you not..”
“No, no- sorry. I am, what’s up?”
“I’ve been looking for you. Do you mind if I join you for a sec?” The man’s tone was soft, and his voice not too deep.
“Sure.” ☁️ responded, motioning him to sit. As the stranger sat, the boy stared expectantly at him.
The man reached into his jacket pocket, grabbing a golden badge and briefly holding it in front of ☁️’s face. He quickly placed the badge back into his pocket and then looked around.
“My name is Richard Grayson, but you can call me Dick. I’m with the GCPD and I’d like to ask you a few questions.” He paused. “You’re best-friends with Alessio Falcone, right?”
☁️ huffed, annoyed.
“Not really. And you’re the fourth cop who’s come up to me since he went missing. I already told-”
“I only have two interviews on file. Who’s the third one?” Dick said, pulling a tan folder from his bag. He opened it, looking through the pages.
“Tim.. something. I forgot the last name.”
“Drake?”
“Probably.”
Dick cursed under his breath, placing the file on the table.
“I need you to go over the events of last Friday again. Give me every detail.”
“I have a paper to write.” ☁️ said, getting agitated. He rolled his eyes, turning his attention from Dick to his laptop. Dick swiped the laptop away with quickness, closing it, and then placing it into his bag.
“I need you to take this seriously.”
☁️ exhaled. “Alessio and I were only school friends. He’s impulsive and stubborn, and I would be very surprised if he was still alive after two days.”
“He’s a Falcone, after all. So you two were only school friends? Nothing more?”
“Is that not what I said?”
“Play nice or I’m taking this home.” Dick said, tapping his bag.
☁️ sighed, intertwining his fingers and placing his hand in his lap.
Roaring past ☁️ and Alessio, two black vans turned the corner in front of them.
“We’re getting farther from campus. Let’s head back.” ☁️ suggested, looking around at the cloudy sky above. Alessio pretended not to hear him, the two continuing down the sidewalk and turning the corner. Upon turning, the sidewalk came to an abrupt end, with a long path of grass in its place. The two vans parked far in the distance, in front of a seemingly abandoned black barn.
“I wanna see what they’re up to.” Alessio pushed his long brown hair from out of his eyes, him then looking over to ☁️. Alessio wore his signature gray polo-shirt with straight black pants and black loafers, his style making his rich lifestyle particularly obvious.
“That’s an easy way to get killed. We’re still in Gotham.” ☁️ responded as he stopped. Alessio noticed, him doing the same.
“We don’t need to get super close, I just wanna see what they bring inside.” Alessio smiled, gesturing ☁️ to continue forward. His watch reflected the little sunlight that came from the sky as he did so.
Only a few blocks away from Gotham City University, Alessio and ☁️ continued through the grass. The two passed the buildings beside them, a small field of trees now standing in between them and the barn. The road turned into a dirt path, with many thick trees shading each side of it.
“Stay behind the trees.” ☁️ instructed as the two creeped through the mini-forest.
Getting close enough to see what the people from the vans were exporting into the building, ☁️ noticed that the barn was much larger than it appeared. Alessio and ☁️ watched as metal suitcases were carefully lifted and brought inside by a few people at a time.
“What do you think are in them?” Alessio asked in a low tone, keeping his gaze on the small group.
“Drugs, probably. We should head back now.”
“We still have 20 minutes until class.”
“That’s not what I mean. We’ve gotten too close, and it looks like they’re leaving soon.”
The small group of people walked outside, talking loudly amongst themselves. ☁️ could only make out a few phrases, like “..that guy’s a total creep..” and “..what do you think he’s doing with..”
Alessio crept toward a tree that was closer to the group, standing behind it as he listened. ☁️ peaked over at him every few seconds, obviously worried.
After a few minutes, the vans roared down the dirt road and back onto the main one. Alessio hurried back to ☁️, squatting down beside him.
“There’s something weird going on in there.”
“We can just call the cops. I’m not going in there.”
“Well, I am. Be my lookout.”
☁️ grabbed Alessio’s arm, holding it stiffly.
“Alessio, I will NOT go in there if anything happens. Please, let’s report it and go back.”
☁️ doesn’t remember what happened after that, but he does remember freaking out after waiting for 25 minutes. He sent the boy 6 messages, and his battery was getting low.
-
An hour passed, and the clouds were getting darker. ☁️ called the cops, explaining what he had seen and how his friend wasn’t responding. He power-walked his way back to campus as suggested by the dispatcher on the phone, where he met with an officer.
“What do you mean you’re not going in there?! He could be hurt!” ☁️’s eye twitched as another cop pulled to the curb beside the two. The first cop leaned against his car, filling out a packet on a clipboard.
“That property actually belongs to someone, despite it looking abandoned. I’m making your report now, and then we’ll request an emergency warrant.”
“How long will it take?”
“A few hours to a day. This number will give you call with any updates we have of your friend.”
The officer handed ☁️ a small card with a number on it as the second officer approached them.
“It’s being handled.” The first officer stated as he turned to the second, the two then looking at ☁️.
“I’m going to speak to him privately for a moment, we’ll be right back.” The second cop said.
☁️ stood still as the two walked over to the other side of the car. He tried his best to listen in on their conversation, but he once again could only recall certain parts.
“Another missing..” and “could be related to..” with “I know that the warrant … granted, but..”
The boy waited impatiently for them to return, figuring their conversation was referring to the three other students who had also gone missing over the past week. The news spread like wildfire on campus, but the topic quickly faded out of circulation. The paranoia, however, lingered behind.
The officers walked back to where ☁️ stood.
“I’m going to put this in asap, if you have any concerns call the number on the card or the non-emergency number.” The first officer said, him then getting into his car.
“I know this is a tough situation. Do you need a ride home?” The second officer asked, watching as ☁️ looked down and nodded.
- 2 days later -
“Did they give you an update on the warrant?” Dick continued writing on his small notepad.
“Yes, they said it was approved and that they would send their tactical team in tomorrow morning. I’m just worried that it’s too late.”
“I’m not sure why they waited so long considering there’s been another two students missing since.” Dick placed his head into his fist, clearly thinking out loud. “It’s not a coincidence.”
“Whatever creep is in there probably has my friend..” ☁️ paused, his mouth becoming dry and his head pounding. “Are we done? I don’t wanna talk about this anymore.”
“Have you slept since then?”
☁️ was taken aback by the question, but looked up with a monotone gaze, shaking his head.
“I’m sorry.” Dick muttered, him then grabbing the computer from his bag and placing it in front of ☁️.
“No need to be. Is that all?”
“No.”
☁️ exhaled again, hoping to make the cop go away with a harsh tone. “What more do you want?”
“Can you show me where that barn is?”
☁️ gave him a glare, becoming suspicious.
“Are you sure you’re a cop?”
“I showed you my badge, didn’t I?”
“You seem too young.”
“I’m in my early twenties, same as you. I’m only a year or two older.”
“Right..” ☁️ glanced around him. “I think I’ll pass.”
“Do you wanna find your friend or not?”
-
“I’m stopping here. You can see it down that path and behind the trees.” ☁️ turned to Dick, who walked into the middle of the empty road.
“Thank you. I’ll try to investigate tonight.”
☁️ furrowed his eyebrows.
“What do you mean?”
“I’m going to come back and see if I can find anything.”
“Alone?”
“Probably not.”
“Can I come with?”
Dick turned to the boy.
“Absolutely not.”
“But you’re going.”
“I’m a cop.”
“I still don’t believe you.”
☁️ turned around and walked back around the corner. Dick followed closely behind, choosing to stay silent. As the two walked down the sidewalks in silence, they crossed the street to the GCU. ☁️ stopped as he stepped onto the stone path and turned to Dick.
“So, I’ll see you tonight?”
“Nope. I don’t need another student going missing.” He responded, looking around. “You shouldn’t be alone around campus, anymore. Let me walk you back to your dorm.”
“How’d you know I dormed?”
“I read the report before I came.”
“So you had me re-explain everything even though you knew?” ☁️ scowled at Dick, which seemingly amused him.
“I had to make sure your story matched up with what you told the cops.”
“Hm..”
☁️ took a few steps away from Dick.
“I think I’ll be fine walking alone, I’ll see you tonight.”
“☁️, I’m serious. I shouldn’t have told you-”
“I need to find my friend. Please.” ☁️ turned his back to Dick and motioned him to follow, the two continuing down the path.
“It would be easier to scan the area if you had more people helping.”
“I don’t think you understand how dangerous this is. We don’t know what ‘creeps’ are in there, if they’re affiliated with a crime boss or villain, how many there are, and if your friend is even still inside.” Dick hesitated, continuing, “..I’m going to tell you something confidential, can you promise to not tell anyone?”
☁️ turned to him and nodded, Dick beginning upon observing the gesture.
“Carmine Falcone is livid, and he’s been sending his guys to the area to retrieve his son. From what I’ve heard, his guys have been going missing too. It’s not just students getting picked off. Anybody who’s in the area is… and I’m very surprised nobody’s come to get you yet.”
“What do you mean?”
“Considering you pretty much exposed the operation to the police, I expected whoever was behind it to get at you next. To keep you quiet or.. you know.. Which is partially why I’ve come today.”
“You’re confusing me.” ☁️ groaned as the two passed a small group of students. Waiting for the group to gain some distance, ☁️ continued.
“Who are you? Actually.”
“I’m a private investigator. Pretty much a cop.”
“And who hired you?”
“Confidential.”
“Then I guess our conversation ends here. My dorm is down the block. If you find anything, please fine me again.”
“I’ve been meaning to ask for your number. For professional purposes, of course.”
“Oh, sure.” ☁️ smirked, taking Dick’s phone. After typing his number in, he handed the device back.
“Thanks.”
☁️ nodded, walking off. He felt Dick continue behind him, causing the boy to turn around.
“I told you I was fine from here.”
“I know, I just need to go back with you.”
“What? Why?”
“Precautionary measures.”
“For?”
“We’ll see.”
“Dick, I don’t think you need to-”
“I expect someone to be in your dorm. That’s why I insist on going with.”
“You mean my roommate?”
“Don’t you have your own room?”
“How do you know that?”
“Private investigator.”
☁️ huffed and nodded, turning around the corner toward a large beige building of gothic architecture. Dick walked in front of ☁️, opening the glass doors and waiting for him to step through. ☁️ smiled at the gesture, whispering his thanks to the man. Pulling out his student ID from his backpack, ☁️ approached the front desk with Dick not too far behind.
“Hello, this man is another cop. He’s going to inspect my room quickly.”
☁️ watched as Dick took his badge from out of his jacket pocket. He held it over the desk for the front desk lady to see, her then nodding in understanding.
“No problem, I’m just going to need to scan his ID.”
Dick pulled out his ID from his jean pocket, sliding it over to the lady. She took it and placed it over a small black box, it beeping only a second later. She handed the ID to Dick and smiled.
“All good.”
“Thanks.” Dick smiled, following ☁️ across the lobby and to the elevators. Their shoes tapped against the marble floors, ☁️ watching Dick look around from over his shoulder. The two stopped in front of the elevators as ☁️ tapped the button.
“Have you ever been inside this place?” ☁️ asked, Dick continuing to look around.
“Once when I was younger, so it’s been a while. My adopted dad went here and contributes to the school pretty often.”
“Oh, that’s cool.” ☁️ responded. The elevator beeped and opened, the two stepping inside.
The ride was quiet, with ☁️ keeping an eye on Dick. Dick noticed, breaking the silence as they finally had reached the sixth floor.
“Still don’t trust me?”
“That’s right.”
The two strolled down the hall, ☁️ recognizing a classmate he was friends with.
“☁️, hey!” She said, walking up to the two guys.
“Ah, hey. How’re you?”
“Good, how’re you? And who’s this cutie?” She whispered the last question, leaning into ☁️ while looking at Dick. Dick looked away as the two quickly conversed.
“Nobody, he’s just taking a quick look at my room.” He whispered back. The friend gave him a suggestive smirk, which made ☁️ shake his head.
“It’s not like that, he’s a cop.”
“How’d you pull a cop?”
“He’s just so full of charm.” Dick said sarcastically, nudging at ☁️’s arm. Though confused, ☁️ and his friend waved goodbye to each other as they parted ways. Dick and ☁️ continued down the hallway, Dick still gripping the boy’s arm.
“You don’t have to hold my arm anymore.”
“You pulled a cop, remember? Take responsibility.” Dick teased, though the boy smiled and rolled his eyes in response. He pulled away from Dick as he arrived to his door toward the end of the hallway.
“Here we are.” ☁️ said softly, grabbing his keycard from his backpack pocket. As he was about to slide it into the door lock, Dick stopped him.
“Wait, here’re the rules. I walk in first, and you stay three steps behind me. If someone’s in there, just stay back. I’ll take care of them.” Dick whispered, leaning into ☁️.
“You’re awfully confident. And paranoid.” ☁️ whispered back.
“This isn’t my first rodeo.”
☁️ blinked at the comment, ultimately ignoring it. He placed his card into the lock, allowing Dick step in first. ☁️ followed around three feet behind as the two tiptoed into the room. Dick placed his bag down, him then quickly opening the closet in the hallway, with nothing but a few pairs of shoes and jackets inside. He continued slowly, stopping in front of the bathroom door to the right- it slightly ajar. As Dick was about to push it open, a man jumped out and tackled him to the floor. ☁️ fell back in shock, crawling backwards.
Dick used his legs to toss the man off and behind him, quickly standing up. The man did the same, repeatedly lunging at Dick with a shiny object in his hand. Dick smoothly dodged the attacks, grabbing the man’s wrist and pulling it, Dick then kneeing him in the stomach. With a swift punch to the temple, the man fell to the ground, unconscious.
Dick hurried back to ☁️, helping him stand up. He looked back, then holding his hand to his lips to keep him quiet. The two continued down the hallway into the tiny kitchen, there luckily being nobody there. Opening the last door down the hall, Dick walked into ☁️’s bedroom. ☁️ remained outside, staring at the unconscious man on the other side of the hall. He turned his attention back to Dick, who looked through his closet and then under his bed. Upon giving the ‘okay,’ he walked back over to ☁️.
“They only sent one goon. That’s rare.” Dick muttered before walking down the hall. ☁️ followed slowly behind him.
“I’m not gonna say I told you so. But..”
“I know, I know. Thank you.”
Dick nodded, walking into the bathroom and turning the light on. ☁️ waited outside again, Dick carrying a duffle bag out only a few seconds later.
“Assuming this isn’t yours?” Dick asked, ☁️ whispering a ‘no.’ He placed the bag beside the man on the floor, Dick then going through his satchel. The man on the floor now had an extremely apparent bruise on his temple, directly under his receding hairline. He wore a plain white tee with a few dirt marks on it, along with dark green cargo pants and big black boots.
Dick hurried to dig through his bag, him pulling a pair of handcuffs out and pushing the guy onto his stomach, handcuffing him. He then checked the guy’s pockets, finding an old smartphone and a walkie talkie. Dick placed both objects into his bag before turning to ☁️.
“Hurry and pack your stuff. You can’t stay here for a while.”
-
Dick had called the cops to take the intruder away as ☁️ followed the small group outside. The officers and Dick carried the man into a cop car, while ☁️ waited outside with a suitcase and his backpack.
Dick walked back to him, a pitiful expression across his face.
“I’m sorry that it has to be like this. It’ll only be until I crack this case.”
“I understand, but where am I going to go?”
“Do you have family in Gotham?”
“If I did I wouldn’t be dorming.”
“Oh, right… Wanna stay with me?”
“Not sure that I’d feel much safer with a mysterious private investigator.”
“Lucky for you, I’ve got a family full of them. I also already told the officers that you said you would.”
☁️ pursed his lips and furrowed his eyebrows.
“Oh don’t give me that look. My family’s very nice.”
“I have no doubt about that. I just don’t wanna be a burden.”
“Oh stop, I’m inviting you.”
☁️ nodded. “Does this mean I can go with you tonight?”
“Still no. I have to make a few calls, just follow behind me.”
The two conversed as they continued through the campus, ☁️ trying to get some information out of Dick.
“So, do you know the cop I spoke to last night? Tim-something?”
“Yes, but it’s complicated.”
“How so?” ☁️ asked, raising an eyebrow.
“That’s not his actual name, and he’s my brother. He uses our other brother’s name when he’s out.”
“That’s.. odd. Is your name actually Richard, then?”
“Yes, I don’t do that. Only they do.”
☁️ nodded in understanding. Dick continued.
“You’re going to love my little brothers. Tim is a genius and the most considerate boy I know. And Damien is very kind-spirited- he’s outspoken and also very observant. You met Jason, already. He’s just a big teddy bear, honestly.”
☁️ raised an eyebrow at the last comment as Dick continued.
“I have other siblings, but they aren’t staying with us at the moment.”
“The Jason I met was big and scary..”
“That’s just ‘cause he’s working. He’s a softie, and he’ll make you laugh a lot when he’s not out.”
☁️ didn’t necessarily believe him, as the Jason he met yesterday was very straightforward with a somewhat aggressive tone.
“Right..”
After that, the conversation ended and the walk was silent once again. The silence didn’t last long, as Dick kept peering over to ☁️.
“So.. since we’re being honest with each other.. Is Alessio really your friend?”
“Yes, we met last semester. I thought that he was an asshole until we worked together on a project. He’s a lot nicer than people say.”
“So you aren’t dating?”
☁️ looked over to Dick, his eye twitching.
“This is the second time you’ve suggested that. What makes you think we’re together?”
“Mm.. just wondering.”
“Did you wanna take me out or something?” ☁️ asked, sarcastically. He smiled and turned to Dick.
“Maybe.”
“Wait, really?”
“You pulled a cop, remember?”
“How long are you gonna hold that against me?”
“Dunno.” Dick shrugged. Now, he was the one to grin at the man next to him.
-
A black SUV pulled beside Dick and ☁️ in the campus’s parking lot. Dick leaned against his motorcycle, still on the phone. Though ☁️ tried his best not to eavesdrop, Dick had called a man named Alfred to pick him up. Then, he called someone named Bruce, explaining ☁️’s situation in soft whispers. Now, he was on the phone with Jason, who seemed to be giving Dick a hard time. ☁️ only heard bits of the conversation.
An older man got out of the black SUV and opened the trunk, Dick gesturing for ☁️ to walk over to him.
“Hello, Mr. ☁️, right?”
“Yes, hello.” ☁️ said, watching the man take his suitcase and gently place it into the vehicle.
“What’s your name?”
“Please call me Alfred.”
☁️ nodded, watching as Alfred walked past him and opened the backseat door. He pointed inside, ☁️ saying a ‘thank you’ and stepping inside with his backpack around his shoulder. Alfred closed the door, approaching Dick as he hung up the phone. The two conversed for a few seconds before Alfred walked back alone, stepping into the vehicle.
“Master Dick has some errands to run before he joins you at the manor. He should be back shortly after you arrive.” Alfred explained as he started the car engine.
“Okay.” ☁️ said dully, watching out of the window as Dick sped away on his motorcycle.
—
Alfred and ☁️ conversed for the entirety of the ride, with the boy explaining his peculiar situation. After a few minutes, the vehicle pulled up to a set off tall, black gate doors. The estate fencing spread far down the road, with a sharp point on each post top- the bottom end going through lined brick along the ground.
Alfred pulled out his phone, the tall gate doors opening moments later. He turned his gaze to ☁️ in the rear-view mirror, ☁️ unintentionally returning the gaze as the man drove into the property. He drove down a stone path lined by large bushes before turning slightly, a mansion of brown and blacks now in view.
“Master Dick volunteered the manor as your safe house as opposed to a protective custody facility. There must be something very special about you, Mr. ☁️.”
☁️ felt as though his tone was rather suggestive, but nodded and smiled as Alfred parked the car.
The two got out, Alfred opening the trunk and grabbing ☁️’s suitcase. They then proceeded up the steps, with the door opening as soon as Alfred placed the suitcase back onto the ground. ☁️ peaked from behind him, seeing a tall man with black hair and a scar on lip in the doorframe. It was Tim- or rather- Jason, the cop who ☁️ spoke to yesterday.
“I’ll take it, Alfred.” Jason said, picking the suitcase up as if it weight nothing.
“Master Jason will take you to your room.”
“Thank you.” ☁️ turned from Alfred to Jason, who began walking into the manor and toward the double staircase. ☁️ followed closely behind, the size of the home making him feel small. The two walked up the left side of the staircase in silence. Upon reaching the top, Jason placed the suitcase down softly and turned to ☁️.
“Hi. I know we met before and it’s weird seeing me again. My name’s actually Jason, my brother is Tim-“
“I know, Dick told me about it.” ☁️ interrupted with a gentle tone, saving Jason the explanation.
“What else did he tell you?” Jason asked as he began down the hallway.
“You’re both private investigators. And that you’re a ‘big teddy bear’ apparently.”
Jason scoffed at the comment, a smirk forming on his face.
“Do you think I’m a ‘big teddy bear?’” Jason turned to him as he stopped at a door to his right. He pushed it open, dragging ☁️’s suitcase inside.
“More of just big.” ☁️ muttered, looking him up and down- Jason wearing a white shirt with wrinkled black jeans, his hair just as messy as it was yesterday. He was taller than Dick, but his muscles could be seen from his clothing just the same. Jason heard ☁️’s response and tried not to look offended.
“I mean in a.. muscular way..” ☁️ said, walking in front of him to look at the room.
“Wow..” Jason responded sarcastically.
The room was large with walls of maroon and gold accents. A wardrobe, dressers, a nightstand, and the bed frame were all a dark brown wood material. The ceiling was white, as were the window frames. Wooden flooring reflected a light brown, though it didn’t creak as ☁️ walked across it.
“This was my room, but I don’t mind you staying in it for a bit. The sheets are clean and the dresser next to the bed is empty, so you can put your clothes in it.”
“Where are you going to sleep, then?” ☁️ asked, turning to face him.
“The couch. I have my own place- I’ve just been staying here for the past few days to deal with.. y’know.. your case.”
“I don’t think I understand, but I don’t want to take your bed. I’ll sleep on the couch.” ☁️ said, grabbing his suitcase handle and dragging it toward the door. Jason stepped in front of him, blocking the doorway.
“I don’t mind. Unless you want to take Dick’s room. He’s got a thing for you, and if you don’t feel the same way, I think that’d be a little awkward.”
☁️ looked away from Jason, and smiled.
“I do, just a bit. He’s cute, but I barely know him.”
“He’s dated, like, three people in his entire life. I don’t think you have much to worry about.”
☁️ nodded as Jason moved out of his way.
“It’s the next door down. I’ll wash his sheets for you.”
“Thanks.”
Moonlight emitted through the room windows, illuminating the bed in which ☁️ sat on.
Dick’s room was comfortable and just as large as Jason’s. He visited ☁️ shortly after the boy arrived at the manor, obviously pleased to see the ☁️ in his bed. Not too long after, Alfred gave him a tour of the home, introducing him to the Wayne Manor. Both surprised and intimated to be in the Bruce Wayne’s house, ☁️ remained in the room to avoid meeting more of Dick’s family.
After falling asleep in Dick’s bed, it was now nighttime. ☁️ grabbed his phone from the nightstand, pulling up the man’s ‘Hey, this is Dick.’ message. He noticed that it was around 11pm as he began typing.
‘Hey, are you still going back there tonight?’
He placed the phone in his pocket and walked to the door, peaking out to make sure nobody was around. He silently wandered down the hallway and to the railing between the set of stairs, finding Alfred dusting the shelves below him. He walked down, watching as Alfred turned in his direction. ☁️ approached him.
“Hey Mr. Alfred. Do you know where Dick is?”
“I’m sorry, you missed him. Master Dick left an hour ago.”
“Did he say where he was going?”
“He said it was ‘confidential.’”
☁️ furrowed his eyebrows, contemplating on whether or not Dick went back to that barn.
“Actually, Mr. ☁️, Master Dick informed me that you had hoped to join him tonight. He gave me specific orders to keep you inside- it seemed he did not want you leaving due to safety concerns.”
Annoyed, ☁️ pursed his lips. “Oh.. I understand. Thank you.”
Alfred nodded. “While you slept we had dinner, and I packed some food away for you. It’s in the fridge, please help yourself to anything in the kitchen.”
☁️ nodded again, thanking Alfred as he walked down the hallway and toward the kitchen. Jason was in there, running around the island as he rushed passed ☁️. Upon realizing that ☁️ was behind him, he quickly turned back around.
“Hey ☁️, did Dick reach out to you in the past hour?”
☁️ shook his head. “Alfred basically said he left to the barn an hour ago.”
Jason nodded, about to turn around before ☁️ began grilling him.
“Why? Is he there? Is he okay?”
“..Confidential. I might have to head over there as well.” Jason said, not looking ☁️ in the eye.
“Why does everybody keep saying that to me? Take me with.”
“I can’t.”
“Jason, please. I want to help.”
“Help by not getting yourself killed.” Jason said, pulling out his phone as it buzzed. He read the words on the screen before looking up at ☁️.
“Actually, I’ll have a friend pick you up. Be ready in 10 mins. To avoid anybody seeing you, climb out the window and use the gutter to get to the ground. Walk across the garden and use the bird bath next to the gate to jump over it. Walk around and meet him in front of the entrance.”
“Gonna assume you’ve done that before?”
“Many times.” Jason said before smiling and rushing out of sight. A skeptical Alfred peaked from down the hall, forcing ☁️ to return to the kitchen. He grabbed a fruit and quickly ate it before walking back to his room. He threw on a black sweater and zipped it up, him then opening Dick’s window and climbing out. The night’s cool air brushed against ☁️’s face almost immediately, with the sounds of crickets and leaves swishing together filling the air.
‘I’m an idiot for doing this- trusting these people and going back to that place. But I really need to know what’s in there. I need to see it for myself.’ ☁️ thought to himself as he carefully slid down the gutter, trying to make his escape a silent one. He ran across the grass through a garden of large bushes and flowers, finding the bird bath Jason had mentioned. He climbed on top of it, leaning forward and grasping the side of a post’s sharp point. Leaning forward, he hoisted himself over the gate, barely grazing the posts’ sharp tips. ☁️ bracing for impact, he landed on his knees and elbows. He brushed himself off, and then ran along the gate. Cutting around the corner, he found a pair of glowing red eyes piercing through him. The Red Hood was waiting for him.
“Get on.” Red Hood instructed, his voice deep and synthetic.
☁️ hurried over to the motorcycle Red Hood sat on, holding onto his waist as the two sped off into the night.

Rubbing his fingers down his partner’s torso, Joshua looked down at the man beside him, awaiting his awakening. He admired the way the morning sun illuminated ☁️’s skin, and the way his shirt sat on ☁️’s body. If it were up to him, you’d best believe that Joshua would stay lying beside ☁️ for the rest of eternity. Though, rather unfortunately, their phones forced this moment of appreciation to dissipate.
Both devices rung out from the nightstand, causing Joshua to prudently reach his hand over and grab them. He tapped the alarm’s ‘stop’ buttons and carefully placed the devices back as to not make more noise. Looking back over to ☁️, Joshua noticed that the man was now somewhat awake- ☁️ exhaling and sluggishly moving his body around on the bed. Joshua was quick to pull the man close and hold him from behind, planting kisses on his cheek only after their skin touched. The man’s playful and frequent pecks made ☁️ smile as he opened his eyes ever so slowly.
“Good morning, babe.” Joshua cooed, positioning his head in between ☁️’s shoulder and neck to plant another kiss.
“Good morning.” ☁️ smiled, turning his head to look at his boyfriend. Sensing another opportunity, Joshua was quick to place his lips on ☁️’s. To him, ☁️’s lips were an addiction- so much that his tongue knew how to find its way through them without hesitation.
Only a moment later, the two were making out, each man tongue deep in the other. Joshua didn’t hesitate to slip a hand into ☁️’s boxers and push his pelvis softly against ☁️’s behind. After a minute of lazy make out sessions, ☁️ guided Joshua’s face away from his.
The men stared at each other, and in those few seconds, ☁️ could see into Joshua. He could see lust in his boyfriend’s eyes, he could also see love, and a lot of it. It was the type of unrestrained love that reassures you when you hold doubt, and the type of love that makes your heart flutter when held tight. And though ☁️ understood that Joshua desired to further their intimate embrace that morning, he also knew that the two had a long day ahead of them. ☁️ softly pinned Joshua’s shoulder back down onto to the bed and climbed on top of him.
“We really should get our morning started.” ☁️ purred.
“But I wanted to get started on you~” Joshua whispered back, pecking the man on his lips and gripping his ass. “.. but I guess we should.”
☁️ smiled and shook his head as Joshua gently hoisted him off of his upper body, him then sitting upright.
After yawning and stretching, Joshua noticed his boyfriend peak over the edges of the bed with a confused expression.
“What’s wrong?” Joshua asked as he fixed the covers on the bed.
“Do you mind if I wear your pants? I can’t find mine.”
Joshua was about to respond, but ☁️ had already rolled off of the bed and lifted a pair of grey sweatpants up his legs. The man laughed as his pants hung loose around ☁️’s waist, which made ☁️ frown and curl the waistline. Walking around the side of the bed, Joshua approached ☁️ and wrapped his arms around the man’s shoulders. He leaned in to kiss ☁️’s neck, though his vampiric urges took over, causing the man to softly bite ☁️ instead.
“Hey!” ☁️ called out, softly pushing Joshua away from him. “No marks- I’m attending your concert tonight.”
“I know, I know.” Joshua smiled, rolling his eyes. He gripped his boyfriend’s arm and brought him into a hug. “And.. speaking of the concert. Did you wanna perform our song together?” Joshua asked, letting go of his boyfriend and walking over to his wardrobe. He yanked a pair of pajama pants out and quickly pulled them up his legs.
“Ah.. I’m not sure, it’s a bit sudden.”
“It would just be the normal choreo and we would sing it together- a quick little thing. I’m sure the fans would like it.”
“They’re there for you, not me, babe.”
“You think they wouldn’t go crazy for an NCT member appearance? We haven’t performed our song together live yet, so it’d be fun.” Joshua stepped away from ☁️ and grabbed his hand, dragging the man into the bathroom with him.
“I bought my ticket already, so I wanna watch the show still.”
“We’ll just have you come down a song or two early so that you can warm up backstage. I already got everything approved.”
☁️ sighed as Joshua handed him a spare toothbrush.
“You should’ve asked earlier.. but that’s fine.”
☁️ looked into the mirror to see Joshua smiling at him- the man’s eyes sparkling as he wrapped a hand around ☁️’s waist.
☁️ stepped onto an empty stage, with around fifty fans gasping and cheering uncontrollably upon his arrival. Joshua ran from backstage to stand beside him, with their song’s intro beginning shortly after. The sun beamed downed onto the empty stadium as the two idols lazily performed choreography and sung lightly into their headset microphones.
Though it was simply soundcheck before the actual concert, the VIP fans continued waving their lightsticks and recording the quick performance.
As the two breathed into their headsets, fans cheered and clapped for them. ☁️ was relieved to receive a positive reaction, and even got the chance to interact with fans before the next soundcheck sessions begun. Though it was short lived, Joshua eventually dragged ☁️ into the backstage room with a huge grin.
“See, they loved it.” Joshua beamed, hugging ☁️ and then holding him by the arms. “I’ll see you later.”
☁️ nodded and smiled as Joshua ran back out onto the stage. Many of the other members stepped into the room shortly after his departure, ☁️ waving and even hugging a few of them as they ran out onto the stage. Now that he had nothing to do for another hour, the man decided to walk up to his seat in the balconies and wait.
A sky of indigo embraced a bright moon as the afternoon faded into night. Four Seventeen members were on stage performing one of their newer songs, ‘Spell,’ as ☁️ felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned his head to see a man with an earpiece and black face mask similar to his kneeling beside him.
“It’s time to come down, please.” The man whispered, ☁️ then nodding and following him up into the concourse hallways.
☁️ was led all the way to the bottom floor, where he was taken into a break room in the backstage area. Joshua sat beside a few sweaty Seventeen members, him immediately standing upon noticing ☁️ walking in.
“Hey, I have a piece that you can just throw over the top you’re wearing now.” Joshua stated, walking out of the room and motioning ☁️ to follow. He approached another staff member and pointed at ☁️, who then pulled his mask down. She seemed to recognize him, nodding as she walked away. After a moment of waiting, she was back with a lavender-colored varsity jacket and an older man.
“He’s our vocal coach, hurry and throw the jacket on so that you can warm up. We don’t have a lot of time.”
☁️ nodded and thanked the woman for the jacket, him then turning his attention to the vocal coach.
—
A tremble in his legs and a lump in his throat, ☁️ looked over to Joshua, who wore a cute hat and a similar blue varsity jacket. Joshua returned the gaze and grabbed his hand as the two felt the lift they stood on slowly rise up. After turning his head forward, ☁️ could see that the entire stadium was now pitch black aside from a few fan’s phone flashes.
a/n: i thought it’d be cute to have u choose your collaboration song w/ Joshua to perform!
( For context, ☁️ and Joshua created a song together as a pre-release for Joshua’s upcoming solo album. I felt these three songs fit well with the fic and, at least in half of the song, match Joshua’s pitch of singing. You can choose which parts of the song you think you’d sound best performing if you were an idol. Anyway, choose any song you like best, then play it while you continue the story! )
oceanoftheblue - 25 (i personally recommend)

skz - taste
( if you don’t like any of these u can just pick ur own- the fic continues below! )
As the instrumental begun, both the stage and audience’s lightsticks flashed in black and white, the spotlight appearing on ☁️ and Joshua only a second after. ☁️ was initially shocked by the crowd’s exuberant response to his presence, but felt their energy flow throw him as soon as he begun dancing and singing. The choreography had been engraved into his mind, it becoming something like muscle memory. He smiled as him and Joshua approached each other, the two using their arms, legs, and voices as mediums to create an intimate art. The fans cheered again loudly upon seeing Joshua’s hand travel along ☁️’s body, which made ☁️ chuckle and mess up the words. The two continued to balance their ability to sing with stability and dance with noticeable passion as the stage became filled with liveliness. The fans’ lightsticks seemed to match the stage’s color scheme as the crowds formed huge waves of neons colors. Though the two touched skin to skin as a part of the choreography, Joshua was extra, well, touchy. Whenever he had the opportunity, his fingers would trace ☁️’s arm, neck, waist, leg, and chin. As long as Joshua stuck mostly to the choreography, ☁️ didn’t mind at all. He knew that Joshua could be a tease sometimes, and he figured that his fans were used to all the touching that his group would do amongst each other.
As ☁️ prepared to sing his part of the bridge, Joshua walked up behind him and quickly wrapped an arm around his waist. The fans cheered even louder as Joshua rested his neck on ☁️’s shoulder, fan-servicing for probably the hundredth time that night. The two stood in that position for another few seconds until it was Joshua’s turn to finish singing the bridge. He let go of ☁️’s waist and walked to another side of the stage to hit a higher note, making ☁️ both nervously and bashfully smile at his prior gesture.
The crowd’s lightsticks and phone flashes continued to illuminate the stadium as the two were sweaty and out of breathe. Motivating Joshua and ☁️ to finish strong, the song was coming to an end. The two sprinted over to each other, smiling as they stood side by side and turned their attention to the mass of people in front of them. ☁️ held his hand in a half heart, hoping that Joshua would notice and complete it. Though, instead of placing his hand against ☁️’s, the man pulled ☁️ into a hug, with one hand holding ☁️’s waist and the other waving to the crowd. Though unexpected, ☁️ was quick to adapt, and waved out to the fans as well.
“Everyone make some noise for ☁️!” Joshua shouted between breaths, stepping aside and gesturing to the idol beside him.
“It’s only been two hours since the concert ended and we already have dating rumors.” ☁️ smiled as Joshua joined him in bed, the man scooting close to ☁️ to see the online article. After the concert, Joshua insisted that ☁️ spend the night at his place as they were both exhausted.
“Hmph. Maybe we should tell them one of these days.” Joshua pondered aloud, him then planting a kiss on ☁️’s cheek.
“You’re crazy.”
“It’s not like they don’t already ship us.”
“Maybe one day.” ☁️ responded, looking at Joshua over his shoulder. “Do you mind if I use your bathroom? I wanna shower quickly.”
“Only if I can join.”
☁️ smiled and rolled his eyes, not acknowledging his boyfriend as he walked into the bathroom. Joshua raised an eyebrow as ☁️ lightly closed the door behind him. He knew that his boyfriend was teasing him. He also knew that if his boyfriend truly didn’t want it, he would say so. Thus, Joshua listened for when the shower handle was turned and the water began pouring down. Waiting a minute before twisting the doorknob, he barged inside. Joshua got getting undressed, and then walked toward the glass door enclosed with steam, opening it ajar.
“I thought you decided not to join me.” ☁️ muttered, his back facing Joshua as he brushed his hands through his hair. Water poured down the man’s body, as if it layering his skin with glaze. Joshua might as well have drooled on the spot as he couldn’t contain his excitement much longer, opening the glass door and slipping through it. He felt the water slap against his back as he walked up behind ☁️, feeling up and down the man’s waist. Joshua waisted no time rubbing his semi-hard dick against ☁️’s ass, slowly pushing the man into the wall. Joshua then turned ☁️ around and dove into his neck, sucking and biting at the man’s dripping skin. ☁️ brushed his hands up Joshua’s abs and caressed his pecs, which caused Joshua to raise his head off of ☁️’s neck and watch the man caress his muscles.
“Such a good boy for me.” Joshua muttered, watching as ☁️’s hands moved to each side of Joshua’s biceps. Noticing that Joshua’s dick was fully erected at this point, ☁️ couldn’t resist the man in front of him any longer.
“Just put it in.” ☁️ huffed, grabbing onto Joshua’s shoulders.
“If that’s what you want.” Joshua teased with a grin, him using one hand to lift ☁️’s leg and the other to aim his dick into the man’s ass. After pushing the head in slowly, Joshua noticed ☁️’s grip on his shoulders tighten. He pushed his dick all the way in and began moving his hips back and forth slowly, earning frequent moans from ☁️.
“You’re taking it well, babe. Can I go faster?”
“Mhm.”
Joshua’s thrusts became more frequent and more powerful, the two eventually overpowering the sound of water running with sounds of clapping and their own grunts. Joshua couldn’t hide his smile as he watched his dick slam in between ☁️’s thighs. After a few minutes of fucking in this position, Joshua noticed that ☁️’s grip on his shoulders was becoming loose.
“You look so pretty with me in you. You know that, right?” Joshua said, slowing down his pace. ☁️ looked into Joshua’s eyes before releasing all over his stomach.
“Oh, already?” Joshua teased once again, pulling his dick out of ☁️ and gently setting his leg down.
“Sorry.. still finish.” ☁️ murmured, turning around and placing his head against the wall. Pushing his ass against Joshua’s dick, ☁️ spread it open with both of his hands. Joshua used one hand to carefully press his dick in, while the other rested on ☁️’s waist. He started slowly, but quickly gained momentum, forcing more whines and cries out of ☁️. His dick slapped against ☁️’s ass incessantly, causing the shower to echo their claps once again. His grip on the man below him tightened as each thrust furthered the advancement of his climax. Not long after, he leaned over ☁️’s back and whispered continuously into his ear, though ☁️ couldn’t understand anything. The pain stemming from Joshua’s harsh thrusts and the splashing of shower water subdued his senses, though he figured his boyfriend was probably praising him more.
One the verge of releasing, Joshua forced his entire length into ☁️ causing the man to cry out. He then quickly pulled his dick out, shooting his load onto ☁️’s back. Turning his boyfriend back around to face him, Joshua shoved his lips into ☁️’s and smiled.
“Let me get you cleaned up, babe.”
—
Cool sheets wrapped around their bodies, Joshua and ☁️ cuddled side by side on the bed. Joshua’s bedroom was dimly lit, with the only light coming from the TV in front of them and the lamp on the nightstand. ☁️ was given one of Joshua’s crewneck hoodies and shorts, while joshua wore a graphic tee and underwear.
“You alright?” Joshua asked, looking down at ☁️ as he lay on his boyfriend’s arm.
After a few seconds of silence, excluding the movie playing on the TV, a loud knock echoed through the home. ☁️ jumped before Joshua paused the movie.
“The hell..” Joshua muttered before sliding off of the bed, throwing pajama pants on, and walking out of the bedroom. ☁️ followed closely behind, watching as Joshua approached the door and looked through the peephole.
“For fuck’s sake.” Joshua whispered, turning to ☁️.
“Who is it?” ☁️ asked, jumping again as another barrage of knocks erupted from outside.
“My members. I forgot that they were supposed to come over.”
“Oh.. Should I go grab my stuff?”
“No, they’re here partially for you.”
“What do you mean?”
“You’ll see.” Joshua sighed, unlocking and opening the door. Mingyu was the first to stomp in, his large figure holding a small cake. Joshua flicked the lights on, illuminating the hallway as his entire group made their way inside. ☁️ stood awkwardly beside Joshua, smiling and saying his hellos as everyone strolled into Joshua’s kitchen. Joshua quickly closed the front door shut and walked beside ☁️ into the kitchen.
Everyone stood around the island table, watching as ☁️ and Joshua walked in.
“Firstly, ☁️, we wanted to thank you for joining us on the last day of our world tour. So, we got you a cake.” Seungcheol exclaimed, followed by cheers and claps from all of the members. Mingyu carefully slid the container of cake to ☁️.
“Thank you guys.” ☁️ smiled, him the. looking over to Joshua. Hoshi had already gone through Joshua’s cupboards, pulling shot glasses out and distributing amongst everyone.
Standing beside ☁️, Dino couldn’t help but stare at the man, which ☁️ took notice of.
“Hey, ☁️..” Dino muttered louder than he probably anticipated.
“Hm?” ☁️ hummed politely, turning to face him.
“You have some stuff on your neck.” Dino muttered again, though not so quietly. ☁️ pulled his hoodie’s neckline up his neck in embarrassment as everyone turned their attention to Dino and grunted simultaneously.
“Dino shut the fuck up.”
“What the hell is wrong with you?!”
“Dino..”
“Bro, cmon..”
“Oh my-”
Dino held his palms up and looked around.
“I didn’t even say anything bad!”
☁️ laughed nervously and Joshua pursued his lips. Opening the box of cake and hoping that it would change the topic, Joshua began cutting the cake as his group began yelling over each other. He then turned to Jeonghan on his right, who simply watched the commotion in silence.
“Jeonghan, start pouring the shots.”
a/n: 😄 def pushing my dino can’t whisper and joshua is touchy agenda btw

Flowing smoothly across the beach on a cloudy summer morning, a light breeze lifts the shirts of three boys. They lie on sandy towels, talking amongst themselves. Reserved, their private seaside sat in front of their two-story, navy blue beach house. A long, white ramp followed the side of the small cliff in which the house sat on, it settling into the sand. The beach itself was around 30ft of land that lead into a vast, turquoise ocean. Without a care in the world, Soobin, Beomgyu, and Taehyun sat, awaiting their friends in the crisp beach air.
After a world tour for their most recent album, the group was given the opportunity to take a break- them desiring a change of scenery. Per their request, the group and their manager asked that ☁️ join them on their trip despite his busy schedule. Of course, ☁️ agreed. He loved the boys’ company, and the boys loved him. A few, quite literally- and a lot more than the others.
Kai and ☁️ were hunched over the kitchen island making sandwiches for everyone. Demanding that Kai wasn’t to touch anything sharp or dangerous, ☁️ did the slicing while Kai put all the ingredients into the sandwiches. The two were relatively quiet, but that was due to it being 9:30 in the morning. Kai was always taciturn and slow in the morning so ☁️ knew to leave him alone.
The small kitchen was filled with sounds of chopping until Kai decided that he wanted a break. He looked over to ☁️ and stared at him, the boy then rubbing his eyes and yawning.
“Hey ☁️, isn’t that Yeonjun’s shirt? Why are you wearing it?” Kai spoke in a sleepy tone, though upon turning to face the boy, ☁️ saw his eyes spark of exasperation.
“I found it in my room and wore it last night. I didn’t really think twice about it.” ☁️ stopped cutting slices of tomato to give Kai his attention. “Why? Does it bother you?”
“I guess not. I could’ve given you something to wear.” Kai said sluggishly, walking over to ☁️ and wrapping his arms around the boy’s body. He rested his chin on top of ☁️’s head as the boy began to start cutting the tomato again.
The beach house’s first floor has an open concept- the living room, dining room, and kitchen being one big room separated by archways. A guest room was also located on the first floor, though it had a door and its own bathroom. That was ☁️’s room, it in-between the kitchen and staircase.
☁️ watched out of the corner of his eye as Yeonjun walked out of his (☁️’s) room. Holding a few pieces of clothing, he strolled into the living room. Kai was completely oblivious, seeming to have fallen asleep holding ☁️.
After a few more minutes of cutting some fruits, ☁️ was done. He stood still as to not disturb Kai, ☁️ rubbing Kai’s hands as an indication that he needed to get going. Kai trudged over to the unfinished sandwiches as Yeonjun jauntily approached ☁️. Noticing a grin on his face, ☁️ sighed.
“Last night was fun.” Yeonjun teased as he laid a kiss on the boy’s neck. He walked over to the fridge still smirking, grabbing a container of orange juice.
Kai quickly turned his body toward ☁️, the spark in his eyes reigniting.
“What’d you do last night?” Kai asked innocently, though ☁️ could tell he was getting upset. ☁️ reached out to the boy, but he stormed past him and walked down the hall.
“Kai, wait.”
☁️ could feel Yeonjun’s grin behind him.
“Not sure what’s up with you two recently..”
☁️ spun around, his tone overflowing with irritation. “Why’d you say that? You know he’s sensitive.”
“Cause. It was fun.” Yeonjun said smiling.
“If you’re going to tell people what we do then.. we can’t do this anymore.” He stared at Yeonjun, who responded by scowling. ☁️ rolled his eyes and began to walk after Kai.
“It’s not my fault you keep leading him on.”
☁️ paused, turning to face the boy once again. “Who told you that? I like him, honestly. Things are just, really slow right now.”
Yeonjun shrugged, sipping his orange juice as if no harm had been done.
☁️ walked down the hallway and turned to the steps. After walking up, he reached the Kai’s room- the first door to the left. ☁️ knocked lightly. After not hearing a response, he opened the door. Kai laid on his plushie-filled bed, his hands behind his head as he stared at the ceiling.
“Kai..” ☁️ called out, tip-toeing into his room. Kai didn’t respond until ☁️ walked over to his bed, sitting on the edge beside him.
“I thought that I made it so obvious that I liked you.. Do you feel the same way?” Kai lifted his body up on his bed to sit, giving his attention to ☁️.
“Of course I do. Things are just really complicated with..”
“Yeonjun?”
“I was going to say work, but that too.”
“So do you like him more than me?”
“You’re much sweeter.”
☁️ climbed next to Kai, placing his head on the boy’s chest. Kai responded by wrapping an arm around the boy’s shoulder.
“So why do you still entertain him?” Kai asked, continuing to stare at the ceiling.
“I’m not sure.”
The two remained silent for a few seconds before Kai exhaled heavily.
“So you like me, but not enough to stop sleeping with Yeonjun?”
“Kai, I’m not-”
“Don’t tell me you aren’t. You’re wearing his clothes, letting him kiss your neck. He’s sleeping in your room, basically admitting to-”
“Kai.. I’m sorry. It’s complicated.”
“Then you two can be complicated together.” Kai said as he removed his arm from around ☁️’s shoulder, softly pushing him to the edge of the bed.
“I..”
The boy closed his eyes as he placed his hands under his head once again.
“I’ll be outside soon.”
☁️ sighed and slid off of the bed. He walked out of the room, down the stairs, and back to the kitchen, where Yeonjun had placed the sandwiches and sliced fruits in plastic bags.
“Guessing your talk didn’t go as you planned.” Yeonjun thought out loud, not taking his eyes off of the bags he was preparing.
“I was honest with him, for the most part.”
“What’d he say?” Yeonjun asked as he placed the bags into a dark blue cooler.
“He doesn’t want to be near me right now. I told him things are complicated and he asked if I liked him or you better.”
Yeonjun closed the lid and looked over at ☁️. “What’d you say?”
“I liked him more. I don’t think he believed me.”
“How could he when he knows you sit on me every night. Why lie to him?”
“Stop. I’m not lying, I think you’re an asshole compared to him.”
“You’re probably right, but you still like me.” Yeonjun grabbed the cooler’s handle and motioned for ☁️ to follow him. “They’ve waited long enough though.”
☁️ walked to the backdoor, opening it for Yeonjun as he dragged the cooler through. The two followed the ramp down to where the three boys sat. Taehyun turned around, acknowledging the two with a wave.
☁️ watched as the four boys ran into the water despite the cloudy sky and light breeze. Picking at the fruits in his bag, he laid on his stomach. He felt sand land on his towel and feet only a few seconds after.
“Sorry.”
Kai laid his towel down next to ☁️’s, climbing on it immediately after. As Kai laid on his stomach as well, ☁️ noticed his white flannel with navy shorts.
“You’re okay.” ☁️ responded, looking over at him.
The two watched the others in silence until Kai turned his attention to ☁️.
“I’ve decided not to be mad about you and Yeonjun.”
☁️ was shocked by his statement, turning to look back at him.
“How come?”
“We’re not dating. We’re not doing anything. I shouldn’t be mad.” Kai remained expressionless, him turning his attention back to the boys in the water.
“Well, I’d like to do.. something.” ☁️ thought about it, quickly looking around. “We should go out and do something fun together.”
Kai hesitated to respond, though it wasn’t initially obvious. “Would you let me do what he does?”
“What do you mean?” ☁️ asked, continuing his gaze on the boy. He watched as Kai returned his gaze, looking out into the water where the boys were now splashing each other.
“Would you let me touch you like he does?”
☁️ raised an eyebrow at the question. “Is that the fun thing you wanted to do together?”
“You and Yeonjun do it. Why can’t we?” Kai locked eyes with ☁️, though his dull tone didn’t change.
“I thought you wanted to be.. more than that.” ☁️ stared into Kai’s eyes as he did the same.
“I do. But we aren’t anything, yet.”
“Exactly. Wouldn’t you want to wait?”
Kai shook his head, returning his gaze back to the boys.
“Oh… ok.” ☁️ responded, doing the same.
“So, yes?”
“Mm, I’ll think about it.”
☁️ rolled onto his back as the clouds parted ways with the sun, the beach becoming illuminated by its light. Closing his eyes, the boy heard two of the idols run back to their towels, one of them unintentionally dripping water onto ☁️ as they sat down. The other two seemed to slowly follow behind, talking as they did so.
“Are you going in?” Soobin sat on his towel beside ☁️, crossing his legs. ☁️ opened his eyes, turning to face the boy. Beomgyu eavesdropped behind the two.
“Maybe..”
“Hyuka is. Why don’t you go with him? The water’s nice.”
☁️ looked over his shoulder to see Kai’s towel vacant. The boy was standing up to his ankles in the water, seemingly admiring the view. ☁️ turned back toward Soobin and nodded, him then standing up.
“Hey Yeonjun, fight back.” Beomgyu looked over to Yeonjun, laughing obnoxiously. As Yeonjun lunged at him, he fell into Soobin, who pushed him into the sand. ☁️ laughed, mouthing a ‘thank you’ to Soobin, who smiled in response.
☁️ could hear Yeonjun yelling behind him as he turned around. The sand was soft under his feet as he walked, though it gradually became cooler and more compact. Eventually, ☁️ stepped into the fresh water as it receded back into the ocean, slightly suctioning his feet under the sand as he continued deeper. As he stood beside Kai, he wondered why the boy wasn’t acknowledging him.
“Kai,”
The boy turned his head, clearly surprised.
“Hi. Do you want to go deeper?”
☁️ looked at his toes under the clear blue water, the sun now illuminating the sea.
“Not really.. but if you want to I will.”
Kai grabbed ☁️’s wrist, pulling him farther into the water. The ocean rose higher up ☁️’s body as the two stepped further, waves crashing into the two as they proceeded. Now soaked, ☁️ stopped as the water level was equal to his collarbone.
“Why’d you stop?” Kai asked, tugging at the boy’s wrist.
“We’re too deep.”
“Come here.”
Kai grabbed ☁️’s waist from under the water, slowly moving the boy close to him.
“Wrap your legs around me.”
☁️ wrapped his arms and legs around Kai, getting nervous. The four boys on the beach were as small as ants at this point, and who knew what was lurking in the water.
“Kai, don’t go further. We’re too far.”
“I got you, though. I can swim.”
“That’s not what I’m worried about.”
☁️ turned around, watching as the water in the distance rose. Their bodies began moving farther out, the ocean sucking them under a large swell.**
** Swell: A traveling wave that hasn’t broken the ocean’s surface tension yet, thus making it a moving dome.
☁️ felt Kai kick his legs to keep them afloat, but the swell had engulfed over them. Kai pushed the boy upwards, ☁️’s head and shoulders back above the water. Kai followed directly after, gripping ☁️’s lower back and pushing them together. He coughed a bit, then shook his head to get the hair out of his face. The two stared at each other, Kai laughing out of embarrassment.
“Sorry..” Kai looked up at ☁️ with puppy eyes, water dripping down his face and neck.
“I thought you got me.”
“I did. You just distracted me.”
“How?” ☁️ furrowed his eyebrows at the comment, holding onto Kai as the two floated over another swell.
“‘Cause you’re pretty.” Kai held eye contact with ☁️, the boy melting under his touch despite the ocean water’s coolness.
“You’re pretty, too.” ☁️ whispered, tightening his arms around Kai’s neck. Kai leaned his head forward as ☁️ did the same, the two locking lips. ☁️ could taste the ocean’s salt on the boy’s lips as he brushed his fingers along the boy’s hair. Kai’s hands traveled down to ☁️’s waist then hips, ultimately settling on the boy’s ass. ☁️ stuck his tongue into Kai’s mouth as they made out, Kai reacting by gripping the boy’s cheeks and doing the same. ☁️’s legs tightened around Kai’s hips as his growing bulge brushed against the boy’s stomach. Another swell brushed over their shoulders, though Kai kept them afloat.
Kai pulled away from ☁️ as another swell approached the two, it much bigger than the last few. Grabbing ☁️’s hands from around his neck, Kai lifted them to float over the wave.
“I can’t keep kicking, let’s head back.”
☁️ looked around Kai’s head to see that they were farther from shore than they had originally been. He grabbed Kai’s arm, the two riding the waves back to where they could stand. As ☁️ felt sand under his feet, he exhaled, out of breath.
The two slowly trudged through the water as waves splashed against their backs. Side by side, they walked out of the water and into the sand’s warmth. Their steps stained the beige sand brown as ocean water dripped down their bodies. ☁️ looked over to Kai, who held his hands in front of his crotch.
“Does this mean you aren’t mad at me anymore?” ☁️ said teasingly, pointing down there.
Kai glanced over at ☁️, smiling at the comment as they arrived to their towels.
“Why’d you guys go so far out?” Beomgyu asked, him lying on his back. ☁️ sat down on his towel as Kai laid on his stomach.
“He wanted to.” ☁️ responded, looking up at the sun. The sun was now bright and sending extensive amounts of warmth to the Earth as the clouds disappeared.
“I’m glad we did.” Kai whispered, turning his head to look at ☁️.
☁️ smiled and rolled his eyes, whispering back. “I’m sure you are.”
“Are you trying to make me look bad?”
Yeonjun stood in front of ☁️ after the others had walked inside.
“I’m not trying to do anything.” ☁️ attempted to walk around Yeonjun, but he stepped in front of him again.
“We all saw you and Kai in the water. The hell were you thinking?” Yeonjun took a step forward with vindictive, maniacal tone. His face displayed his rage- an eyebrow raised and nose scrunched.
“Why’re you mad? Nobody else seemed to care.” ☁️ asked innocently, placing a hand on Yeonjun’s arm and trying to move around him again. Yeonjun grabbed ☁️’s arm back in response, shoving the boy’s body against the beach house’s blue exterior. Yeonjun stood in front of ☁️, both hands on his sides as to not allow him to move.
“Everyone knows you’re mine. You can’t just-”
“I was never yours. You told me to stop leading him on, didn’t you?”
“Not at the expense of that ass.” Yeonjun mumbled, gazing at the boy he had pinned against the wall.
“All we ever did was f-”
“So?”
“So.. I guess it’s time we moved on. You should move on.”
“That’s all I wanted to hear.”
☁️ looked at Yeonjun in confusion as the boy removed his hands from the wall. Yeonjun stood expressionless, motioning his hands over to the door beside them.
“What?” ☁️ furrowed his eyebrows as he remained with his back against the wall. Yeonjun didn’t respond, choosing to stare at the boy instead. ☁️ nodded and mouthed an ‘okay..’ as he stepped aside and opened the door, Yeonjun following close behind.
☁️ glanced behind him as he walked across the living room and to his bedroom, again with Yeonjun close behind him. Beomgyu and Taehyun watched from the kitchen, ☁️ not acknowledging them. As he reached the door, ☁️ turned around.
“What’re you doing?” ☁️ questioned, though Yeonjun ignored him. As ☁️ was about to turn around, Yeonjun grabbed his arm and opened the room door, forcing him in. ☁️ stumbled in as Yeonjun closed and then locked the door behind them. ☁️ fell onto his knees right in front of his bed. Looking up, he was met by Kai’s angry expression. ☁️ quickly turned around, watching as Yeonjun turned to face him.
“What the hell? Why’re you in here?” Yeonjun jumped as he noticed Kai sitting on ☁️’s bed.
“Why are you in here?” Kai asked, looking down at ☁️. “Why’s he in here, ☁️?” He murmured, ☁️ shrugging in response.
“‘Cause we were gonna talk. Without you.”
“Did you have to push me?” ☁️ asked, standing up and sitting next to Kai.
“Kai, get out.” Yeonjun said, using his thumb to point behind him.
“☁️, do you want me to get out?” Kai bantered, turning his head from ☁️ back to Yeonjun.
“No, just say what you were gonna say.” ☁️ said, looking at Yeonjun.
“Fine, I’ll just go.” Yeonjun threw his hands up, turning around and grabbing the doorknob.
“Wait! Just tell me.” ☁️ pleaded.
“Okay, I’ll whisper it.” Yeonjun said, motioning the boy to come over to him. ☁️ walked over, standing in front of him with his head to the side. Yeonjun leaned down slightly, placing his head in the space between ☁️’s neck and shoulder. As ☁️ waited for Yeonjun to begin, he felt a pair of lips land on his skin and start sucking. ☁️ felt his bulge grow as he pushed Yeonjun away.
“You asshole.” ☁️ said discreetly covering his boner with his hand.
“When he doesn’t feel as good as I do, just call me.” Yeonjun whispered, him then grinning at a visibly angry Kai. He left the room, satisfied, as ☁️ turned to face the boy on the bed. Kai simply stared at ☁️, his expression monotone.
“Sorry, I didn’t think-”
“Do you think I’d make you feel good?”
☁️ was taken aback by his question, though Kai’s expression remained unfazed. The boy trudged over to the bed, sitting next to Kai while still covering his hard spot.
“You know, that’s not really something you ask someone.”
“You also aren’t supposed to sleep with your friends. But you do.”
“Why’re you being sassy?” ☁️ rolled his eyes and climbed onto his bed. Resting his head on the pillows, he pulled his phone from out of his pocket. ☁️ brought his knees up, placing his feet flat on the bed as he replied to messages. With his phone over his face, he watched Kai climb over to him from under the screen. Kai placed a hand on each of the boy’s ankle moving them to the side. He placed his head in between the boys legs, continuing up his body. ☁️ finally gave the boy his attention once Kai popped his head in between ☁️ and his phone, then resting his face on ☁️’s chest. Kai pushed his arms under ☁️’s back, hugging him. ☁️ smiled to himself, placing his phone down and playing with the boy’s hair.
“Answer my question..” Kai purred as he laid in between the boy’s legs.
☁️ huffed. “You already did. Remember?”
“You mean in the water?”
“Mhm.”
“That doesn’t count.”
“Why not?”
“Because, that was only for a second.”
☁️ didn’t respond, continuing to play with the boy’s hair. After impatiently waiting, Kai looked up expectantly.
“Why are you so caught up on it?” ☁️ asked, rolling his eyes. Kai removed an arm from under him, turning his body to place a finger on ☁️’s bulge- it still hard. He looked up and smiled.
“I just wanna take care of you.”
“Do you?” ☁️ asked sarcastically, pushing the boy’s finger off of his shorts.
“I do.” Kai stated, his cool tone sending a shiver down ☁️’s spine.
“Come here.” ☁️ instructed, softly grabbing Kai’s chin and leading it to his. Kai climbed over the boy’s body, their faces now inches apart. The window behind them displayed beams of orange sunlight, illuminating Kai’s features. ☁️ smiled at the boy in front of him, watching as his dark figure transformed into one of glowing orange.
☁️ pulled Kai’s chin once again, this time directing the boy’s lips to his own. Kai readjusted his form, forcing his hips in between ☁️’s legs and placing his hands on each side of the boy’s shoulders. ☁️ reacted by wrapping an arm around the boys neck, which resulted in their kiss becoming deeper. Kai’s bulge began growing in between ☁️’s legs, him thrusting harshly as the two continued to pull on each other’s tongues. ☁️ couldn’t help but moan between each thrust as his body began to warm up. Kai pulled away and tugged at ☁️’s shirt.
“Take it off.” Kai demanded, taking his own shirt off- it revealing his smooth pecs.
“Since when were you assertive?” ☁️ laughed slowly pulling his shirt off.
Kai smiled, diving into the boy’s neck. ☁️ moaned loudly as Kai began kissing and biting the boy’s skin. Rubbing his hands through Kai’s body and hair, ☁️ wrapped his legs around the boy’s waist.
After a few seconds, Kai placed both hands on ☁️’s waist, falling backward. ☁️ now sat on top of Kai’s boner, the boy under him grinning.
“Now the pants.” Kai cooed, helping the boy remove his pants and underwear. Kai then directed the boy’s head down to his torso, ☁️ placing kisses over his abdomen. “It’s all yours.”
☁️ smiled at the comment, climbing up to his pecs. He placed his tongue along them, Kai’s hand moving to the back of ☁️’s head. He slowly moved the boy’s head down to his hips, ☁️ slowly pulling his pants down and off of his body. Throwing them aside, he ran his hand along Kai’s long length. Kai pushed ☁️’s head down onto his underwear, the boy softly biting the boner through the material.
It didn’t take long for ☁️ to place his fingers on the waistband, pulling the underwear down to reveal Kai’s length. He didn’t expect to get smacked in the face by it, which caused Kai to laugh softly. He guided ☁️’s head to it, the boy opening his mouth and taking it in. ☁️ began bobbing his head slowly, using his tongue to add another sensation. Kai threw his head back, gradually pushing the boy’s head deeper and deeper onto his dick. After a few of his own thrusts, ☁️ began to gag.
“Sorry..” Kai whispered, quickly pulling the boy’s head off of his length. ☁️ wiped the saliva from his lips, watching as Kai repositioned himself to kneel in front of him.
“Get down.” Kai instructed again, shoving the boy down beside him. He moved behind ☁️, both of their backs against the window and facing the door. The sun’s orange light faded out of view as it succumbed to the earth below, leaving the two with the moon’s soft glow instead.
Kai slapped his length as few times against ☁️’s ass as he arched his back. Brushing against Kai’s pelvis area, ☁️ felt a liquid drip down his asshole, a pair of fingers then entering him. ☁️ gasped at the sudden sensation, Kai continuing to roughly move his fingers in and out. Whimpering from the pain, ☁️ placed his head into his crossed arms, muffling his cries. Kai slowed down eventually, pulling his fingers out and rubbing ☁️’s ass.
“Condom, right?” He asked, ☁️ turning around to watch him grab something from the nightstand behind them.
“Yeah. Did you bring one knowing I’d let you do this?” ☁️ muttered, embarrassed.
“No, this stuff is yours. From the nightstand’s drawer.”
“You went through my stuff?”
“Just your nightstand.” Kai said without much emotion, tugging on his dick. “Ready?”
☁️ sighed and whispered a ‘yeah,’ lowering his head back down on the bed. Kai placed his hand on the boy’s head once again, placing his hips a few inches away from ☁️’s ass. After stroking a few more times, Kai slowly put the tip in, making ☁️ yelp softly. After he continued inching his dick inside, he placed his other hand on ☁️’s waist. Kai groaned softly as ☁️ tightened around him.
He steadily moved his hips back and forth, letting ☁️ adjust to his length as the boy continued to whine. Kai’s hands were on each side of ☁️’s waist now, picking up his speed as he thrusted his entire length in. Kai kept a steady pace shoving his length in and out, ☁️’s head practically hanging off of the edge of the bed.
The creak of the turning doorknob caused Kai to stop, the two of them looking up in horror as the door swung open.
“You little slut..” Yeonjun’s eyes were wide open, obviously surprised to see ☁️ getting fucked from behind by Kai. The two were too shocked to speak or move, watching as Yeonjun closed the door behind him, then locking it. He wore a plain white tee with striped pajama pants, his hair wet and pushed out of his face.
“I can’t believe you’d let him of all people get it.” Yeonjun gritted his teeth, turning back around to the two.
“Fuck off, Yeonjun.” Kai spewed his words, them dripping with anger.
Yeonjun approached ☁️, who was still hot and softly whimpering. He moved his crotch inches away from ☁️’s head, him then placing a hand behind the boy’s neck. Yeonjun grinned at Kai as ☁️ reached over and tugged at the boy’s pants.
“I usually sneak down here around this time. Do you want me to go, ☁️?”
☁️ shook his head, him then turning to Kai. “You’re doing really good, do you mind if he joins?”
Kai looked over to Yeonjun, whose grin turned into a grimace.
“..No.” Kai said gripping ☁️’s ass as he slowly began moving his hips again.
Quick to help ☁️ pull his pants down, Yeonjun smacked his boner onto the boy’s face. Yeonjun often snuck down without underwear, making their nighttime routine more convenient. ☁️ grabbed ahold of Yeonjun’s long length, but struggled to put it in his mouth as Kai increased his thrust speed, rocking the boy’s body.
“This guy..” Yeonjun murmured, gripping ☁️’s face and shoving his dick into the boy’s mouth. Yeonjun and Kai both moved their hips back and forth with velocity. ☁️ began tearing up due to the excessive pain, though pleasure didn’t linger too far behind.
After a minute, Yeonjun yanked ☁️ forward, making Kai’s dick fall out of ☁️’s ass. ☁️ caught his breath, wiping the tears falling from his face.
“The hell?” Kai said, inching up to ☁️’s ass again.
“It’s my turn.” Yeonjun stated, pushing ☁️ onto his back. “Hand me a condom.”
“Get it yourself.”
“I’ll put my dick in your boyfriend raw.” Yeonjun smiled, watching as Kai rolled his eyes and grabbed him a condom and the bottle of lube. “Wouldn’t be the first time..” Yeonjun mumbled.
“Stop. We haven’t done that.” ☁️ huffed, still lying on his back. He looked at Yeonjun, and then to Kai, who practically sat over him. ☁️ began stroking Kai’s cock as it hung over his face, Kai smiling. After a few seconds, Yeonjun lifted the boy’s legs over his shoulders, him then aggressively tapping his cock on ☁️’s ass. He poured liquid onto his hands, spreading it over his dick and ☁️’s hole. It didn’t take long for him to shove it into ☁️, groaning loudly as he did so.
“You’re so tight even though Kai should’ve stretched you out.” Yeonjun said, grunting as he sent slow, yet powerful thrusts into ☁️’s hole. “Says a lot.”
“Shut up, Ye-” ☁️ was interrupted as Kai shoved his dick into the boy’s mouth. Kai turned his body to the side, lifting ☁️’s head so that he could fuck into it.
Yeonjun began picking up speed, claps filling the room alongside ☁️’s muffled moans. With a tight grip on the boy’s legs, he leaned forward, shoving his dick as deep as he could. ☁️ yelled out in response, practically choking on Kai’s dick. All he could do was stroke his own and grip the sheets around him.
As ☁️ felt his rush climaxing, Kai yanked his dick out of the boy’s mouth. He then pulled him further onto the bed, and on top of him. Kai laid on his back, quickly leading the boy onto his dick. ☁️’s back faced Kai as he thrusted sloppily into the boy. Yeonjun grunted, climbing onto the bed and standing in front of ☁️. He gripped the boy’s hair and smacked ☁️ with his dick, forcing him to open his mouth. Yeonjun thrusted steadily as ☁️ rolled his eyes back, his climax rushing back. Kai’s thrusts became more aggressive, causing ☁️ to bounce along with the rhythm Kai was providing him.
Whimpering loudly, Kai gripped ☁️’s waist, shoving the entirety of his length into ☁️ one last time. ☁️ could feel the boy’s length warm up inside of him, causing him to cum as well. The white liquid dripped on and down Yeonjun’s leg, making the boy curse out. Yeonjun grabbed ☁️’s head, thrusting harshly until he, too, came over the boy’s face.
☁️ slowly slid off of Kai’s dick, falling softly in front of Yeonjun. He felt Kai readjust himself as Yeonjun sat in front of ☁️. Kai scooped the boy up, walking over to the bathroom and setting him on the counter. ☁️ watched as Kai walked back into the bedroom, throwing on his underwear as Yeonjun pulled his pajama pants up. He grabbed ☁️’s shorts before turning to Yeonjun.
“I think it’s time you go.” Kai said, walking back over to the bathroom.
“Sharing is caring.” Yeonjun said, following Kai. ☁️ began brushing his teeth as the two walked in, Kai helping the boy put his shorts on. Kai was about to argue, but ☁️ tugged on his arm. He handed Kai a spare toothbrush from the cabinet, with Yeonjun’s already out.
Kai huffed, grabbing the toothpaste from beside ☁️. The three brushed their teeth before wiping their bodies with wet towels, ☁️ helping Yeonjun wipe down his leg. Throwing the towels in a basket, Kai once again scooped ☁️ up, bringing him over to the bed. Kai sat down next to him as Yeonjun walked to the opposite side, lying next to the boy.
“Just lay down.” ☁️ instructed softly, laughing at Kai’s possessive reaction. Kai did as told, throwing the covers over his body as he wrapped an arm around ☁️, who turned his body to face him. Kai brought the boy close, gripping his ass to Yeonjun’s dismay. Yeonjun reacted by placing his bulge in between ☁️’s asscheeks, and his head into the boy’s shoulder. Heat insulated from in-between both of the boys, causing ☁️ to quickly fall asleep.

a/n: This is a very serious reminder that Yeonjun’s actions are okay in fanfic world, but not in real life!!! Do not let someone treat you like that- it is not fun nor is it okay. Please respect yourselves. Anyways, on a less serious note, i hope u enjoyed !! ♡

“Which number?”
“1114” Jeonghan responded, following ☁️ as the two strolled down their hotel’s posh hallway. After a long flight, the exhausted duo solely sought to fall into their beds and rest.
Upon reaching their shared room, ☁️ unlocked their door and swung it open. The two trudged in, dropping their bags onto the ground almost immediately. ☁️ traveled down the tiny hallway and into the bedroom, stopping upon seeing only one bed. After a few seconds, he felt Jeonghan’s breath glide across his neck from behind.
“What’s wrong?” Jeonghan asked, peaking over ☁️’s shoulder.
“There’s only one bed.” ☁️ groaned, him then looking over his shoulder. Jeonghan stood inches behind ☁️ with an expressionless face, the dark blue light emitting from the window casting its soft hues across his face.
“Who booked the rooms?”
“Seungcheol, I think.” ☁️ responded, him then walking toward the bed and sitting on it.
“We can talk to him after we rest. I don’t mind if you don’t.” Jeonghan said, walking toward the other side of the bed and uncovering the sheets.
“I don’t.” ☁️ replied, smiling to himself as he, too, climbed into the sheets. He placed his phone on the nightstand and looked over to Jeonghan, who was still engulfed in the pre-dawn hue. The man looked back at ☁️, the two staring at each other for a few seconds before bursting out in a tired laughter.
“Stop looking at me.” Jeonghan teased, draping the blanket onto his shoulder as he turned the entirety of his body to face ☁️.
“Nah, you stop looking at me.” ☁️ responded, smiling softly as he continued his gaze. After a few more seconds of quick glances, ☁️ rolled his eyes and laid on his back. The two laid in silence, ☁️ noticing Jeonghan continue to stare out of the corner of his eye.
“You know..” Jeonghan sighed. “I’m glad you let me you convince you to join the group.”
☁️ furrowed his eyebrows, looking over to see a sleepy Jeonghan. “Where’s this coming from?” ☁️ teased, “Since when did you get all sentimental?”
“I’m serious. We’ve known each other for a long time.. and we’ve always been together.”
“Yeah.. I’m glad too. I don’t know what I’d be doing right now if not for you.”
The two once again sat in silence for a while before Jeonghan proceeded.
“Sorry.. that was random.” Jeonghan muttered, rubbing his eyes.
“No, no- it’s fine. I like when you actually say how you feel.”
Jeonghan reached over to ☁️’s arm, grabbing it and suddenly pulling the man close to him. Though confused, ☁️ was too tired to process the man’s actions. He let Jeonghan wrap his arm around his waist, though his heart continued palpitating as his crush abruptly spooned him. Though he would never admit it to Jeonghan, ☁️ savored it- him closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep after another minute.
“Wake up~” Jeonghan hummed, snuggling his nose into ☁️’s neck. ☁️ opened his eyes, taking a deep breath as he once again felt the man’s arm weighing down his torso. Slowly rubbed his eyes, he turned his head to look at Jeonghan.
The sun’s rays gleamed through the window, illuminating the fact that Jeonghan was in nothing but a robe.
“Hey, goodmorning. Did you sleep well?”
“Yes, did you?” ☁️ muttered, confused as to why the man was still holding him. Jeonghan raised his head up and rested an elbow on the pillow, him now looking down at ☁️.
“Yes. I brought our bags over to the room because I know we were tired early. Your toothbrush is already in bathroom and you can use my toiletries. Also, I ordered breakfast for us already, I know what you usually get so I figured I’d-“
“Hey.” ☁️ turned his body to face Jeonghan with his eyebrows still furrowed. The man remained quiet, tilting his head in confusion. “Thank you for doing all of this,” ☁️ muttered, raising his head and looking over to the suitcase that sat against the wall, “but.. why’re you acting like this?”
“Like what?”
“Just.. different. You’re treating me, like-“ ☁️ looked down at Jeonghan’s arm across his waist, and then back to him. “I don’t know.”
“You don’t like it?”
☁️ tilted his head as if pondering a response. “I mean..”
“I was too tired to realize what I did last night- or rather, this morning, and considering we slept like that.. I figured you didn’t mind.” Jeonghan stated softly, removing his arm from around ☁️.
“Oh, I don’t mind.. at all actually.”
“Ah, really?” Jeonghan was taken aback, only raising an eyebrow at the response.
☁️ felt his body warm up as he continued to look up at Jeonghan, the man’s lips slowly forming a smirk. As the man slowly leaned into him, ☁️ unconsciously did the same- their faces becoming only inches apart before a series of knocks erupted from down the hotel room’s hall.
Instantaneously realizing what he was doing, ☁️ yanked his head back and faced the opposite direction. He heard Jeonghan huff and slide off of the bed, ☁️ scared to look over to him.
“I’ll be in the bathroom.”
—
☁️ glanced over to Jeonghan, who immediately glanced back from across the tiny table in which they sat. The two awkwardly ate their breakfast together, with the sound of metal forks tapping against porcelain plates echoing around them. The two stole occasional glances from each other, having not said a word since room service’s knock. Finishing first, Jeonghan waited patiently for the man across from
him.
☁️ tapped the napkin on the edges of his mouth and looked up at Jeonghan.
“Thanks for getting me breakfast.”
“It’s no problem..” Jeonghan hesitated. As he opened his mouth to speak again, ☁️ pushed his dishes aside and stood up.
“I’m going to shower quickly.” ☁️ announced, swiftly turning around and traveling back into the bedroom. Jeonghan stood up immediately after, following ☁️.
The man began hastily digging through his suitcase for clothes as Jeonghan peaked in.
“☁️..”
“Yes?” ☁️ responded, continuing to pull items out of the bag.
“Can we talk about earlier?” The man asked, walking into the room and sitting onto the bed.
☁️ huffed and put pulled-out clothes on top of the suitcase. He then looked back at Jeonghan and stood up, sitting next to him.
“I didn’t mean to-“
“You have nothing to apologize for.” ☁️ interrupted, him looking into Jeonghan’s eyes. ☁️ could tell the man was at a loss for words by his wistful eye contact, resulting in him taking Jeonghan’s hands and holding them in his own.
“I’ve liked you for long time.” Jeonghan dully blurted out, him then looking down at his intertwined hands. “If you don’t feel that way, I’d compl-“
“I’ve liked you for a while now, too.”
Jeonghan’s eyebrows rose upward. “Really? Did you know about how I felt?”
☁️ shook his head. “Not really.. you’re naturally caring towards everyone so I didn’t think twice of it.”
Jeonghan looked back at ☁️ and nodded in understanding.
“I’d ask if you knew how I felt, but-“ ☁️ began.
“Actually..” Jeonghan interrupted. “One of the others told me that you liked me a bit.”
“What?!” ☁️ grimaced, unintentionally squeezing the man’s hands.
“It was a few months ago, though. So, I was worried that you didn’t feel the same way anymore. I tried to show you how I felt but I guess you never noticed.”
“What the hell Hannie?!” ☁️ yelled, yanking his hands away and softly pushing the man.
“What?”
“You couldn’t just tell me??”
“I was nervous..”
“Guess you didn’t want me bad enough then.” ☁️ teased, rolling his eyes as he stood up. Jeonghan quickly grabbed his wrist, stopping the man.
“I did..” Jeonghan tilted his head to the side and yanked ☁️ forward once again. The man fell into his body, not noticing Jeonghan’s shy smile.
“Assuming you still do?” ☁️ asked as he placed a hand on Jeonghan’s shoulder, leaning over his lap as the two inched closer.
“Mhm.” Jeonghan responded, placing a hand on ☁️’s waist as the two then smashed their lips together. With his eyes wide open, ☁️ looked at Jeonghan, who had his eyes closed and increased his grip on the boy’s waist. After another second, he felt his body heat back up, ☁️ melting into the flame that was Jeonghan.
☁️ slid the hand on Jeonghan’s shoulder around his neck while placing his other on the man’s chest. It didn’t take long for their tongues to begin intertwining as well, deepening their kiss. ☁️ felt his bulge grow as he slowly rubbed against Jeonghan’s exposed thigh, him also feeling Jeonghan move his hand from ☁️’s waist up to his shoulder. It was then that Jeonghan quickly pulled his lips away from ☁️’s, him instead positioning them onto ☁️’s neck. He bit gently and sucked at the skin, changing his lip’s placement every few seconds. ☁️ practically whimpered at the sensations, allowing his body to soften in Jeonghan’s grasp.
As the man switched to the other side of ☁️’s neck, ☁️ noticed the alarm clock behind Jeonghan- it reminding him of their schedule.
“Hey-“ ☁️ pulled away softly to look at Jeonghan.
“What’s wrong?” The man asked innocently, wippng his mouth.
“We have an hour before we all leave, and I still need to get ready.”
Jeonghan looked down seemingly disappointed, ☁️ assuming he misunderstood.
“I mean I liked it, I just-“ ☁️ looked down to Jeonghan’s lap, where his bulge was very visible despite the thickness of his robe. “Oh.”
“Ah- I’m sorry, you should go shower.” Jeonghan removed his hands from around ☁️ and placed them over his erection. He then scooted away from ☁️, crossing his legs.
“Well you’re already hard..”
“☁️, go shower.”
“Just let me help quickly.”
“….Quickly.” Jeonghan instructed after thinking for a few seconds, him then untying his robe as ☁️ hurried over to his side. The man’s dick popped up as he moved the robe off of his shoulders, exposing his stomach and chest as well. ☁️ placed a hand on his lengthy cock, stroking it a few times before leaning forward and shoving it into his mouth. Shifting his tongue around Jeonghan’s cock as he bobbed his head, ☁️ felt the man brush his hand down ☁️’s back.
☁️ continued to shift up and down, occasionally hearing a soft moan from Jeonghan. After amother minute, Jeonghan moved his hand from ☁️’s back up to his head- grabbing it and forcing the length deeper down ☁️’s throat. Jeonghan now guided ☁️’s head up and down faster and faster between each second, making the man gag.
“Sorry, you okay?” Jeonghan asked after yanking off of his dick. ☁️ wiped his mouth and nodded, pushing Jeonghan’s hand off of his head.
“Yeah.” He responded, placing his lips back onto Jeonghan’s cock shortly after. Back to a normal pace, ☁️ continued oscillating his head, it now earning him frequent moans from Jeonghan. The man continued to throw his head back and whine as ☁️ throated the entirety of his length.
“Ah- I’m close.” Jeonghan eventually whimpered, pulling ☁️ off of his dick but keeping the man’s head close to his thigh. Jeonghan began rapidly stroking his cock in a haze, yelling out as white liquid shot out of his cock. ☁️ watched as some of it fell onto his cheek, him flinching before Jeonghan’s hasty strokes slowed.
With Jeonghan breathing heavily above him, ☁️ raised his head back up, using a finger to wipe the semen off of his face.
“Ah- I’m so sorry, I’ll make it up to you.” Jeonghan said, leaning over to help wipe the liquid off. “I promise.” He then murmured.
☁️ pecked the man on the cheek with a soft smile. “I believe you.” He whispered before standing up and walking over to the bathroom.
“Can’t you just help me?”
☁️ stared at Jeonghan, who held his hands in his jean pockets. The two stood close together in the middle of a dimly lit school hallway.
“Move, I’m not helping you.” Jeonghan responded, attempting to walk around ☁️. ☁️ wrapped his hand around the tiny mic on his collar, using his other to make a fist around Jeonghan’s.
“But you said you would.” ☁️ whispered.
“That’s not what I meant.”
“Well, still help.”
Jeonghan sighed as ☁️ took his hands off of the mics, him then holding out his hand. The man placed his palm in ☁️’s and intertwined their fingers. ☁️ smiled and whispered a ‘thank you’ as the two turned to continue down the eerie hallway. Just as they began to walk, footsteps echoed from behind them.
“Hey! What’re you two doing?” Dino called out, him then running over from down the other end of the hallway.
“We’re completing our missions.” ☁️ responded dismissively, softly tugging Jeonghan’s arm to start moving.
“You’re teaming?” Dino asked, him now standing in front of the two.
“No, I’m just doing my mission.”
“Your mission is to hold his hand?” Dino asked, him then reaching his hands out as if preparing to separate the two.
“Pretty much..” ☁️ said, grimacing as Dino placed a hand on both Jeonghan’s and ☁️’s wrist. Dino looked at ☁️ with a smirk before ☁️ whispered, “Dino, I’ll beat your ass if you try it.”
“I’m just completing my mission.” Dino whispered, removing his grip of the duo’s wrist. A small, glittery sticker now sat on both of their hands, leaving the two confused. “I have to leave stickers on each member.. Also you have some stuff on your neck.” Dino pointed at ☁️’s bruises, startling both him and Jeonghan. How he was able to see the hickeys in the hallway’s dimness was beyond them.
“Oh, uh- thanks. I’ll be sure to wipe it off when we finish.” ☁️ responded awkwardly, moving to the side next to Jeonghan to allow Dino to pass them.
“Mhm. Do you know where the other guys are by chance?” Dino asked, looking the two up and down as he did.
“We haven’t- this place is big so keep looking.” Jeonghan responded dryly, moving Dino along.
“So you’ll help him but not me?” Dino complained, rolling his eyes with a smile and continuing down the hallway.
“You’ll be alright.” Jeonghan called out, the two watching as Dino disappeared in the distance.
“You need to steal a member’s phone and make a call on it, right?” ☁️ asked, turning to Jeonghan. He watched as the man got extremely close to him, using a finger from his free hand to peel the sticker off of his other hand.
“Mhm. Let’s follow Dino.” Jeonghan then responded, power walking forward with ☁️ following.
“Wow.. you’re mean” ☁️ teased, practically jogging beside the man. Jeonghan seemed to ignore the comment, him choosing to change the subject instead.
“☁️, when he pointed at your..”
“Is it that noticeable?”
“Mm.. just pull your shirt up.” Jeonghan replied, using his free hand to adjust ☁️’s top.
Their hands still intertwined, the two continued to wander until they found Dino, them watching as he turned the corner. They silently followed from a distance, seeing that he had eventually disappeared into a room. The two crept over to the room’s window, where they saw two other members standing together beside a bright, red light. Another person lingered slowly down the hallway, wearing a large piece of cloth over his head.
“Is that supposed to be a ghost?” ☁️ asked, about to laugh.
“I guess. Let’s just go in.” Jeonghan replied, walking over to the room door and sliding it open. Dino and DK yelled out, horrified, while Seungcheol jumped slightly.
“Relax, it’s just us.” ☁️ giggled, approaching the small group. As the duo strolled over to the other side of the room, Jeonghan leaned over to whisper in ☁️’s ear.
“Tell Seungcheol that your mission is to hug all of the members and then hug him. He’ll do it willingly and I’ll take his phone.”
☁️ nodded in understanding, remembering that Seungcheol usually wears his phone in his back pockets.
“Hey guys, my mission is to hug everyone. Can I?” ☁️ asked as he and Jeonghan stood in front of the three. DK and Seungcheol looked the two up and down, while Dino tilted his head in confusion.
“You told me your mission was to hold hands with him.” Dino said in a state of confusion.
“Oh, no. That’s his mission.” ☁️ replied, pointing at Jeonghan. “You might’ve misheard, you do that a lot.”
“He does! It’s super annoying.” DK responded, turning from ☁️ to Dino. At a loss for words, Dino held his arms out mouthing a ‘What?!’.
“I’ll help you with your mission if you help me with mine.” Seungcheol grinned, turning to ☁️.
“What is it?” Jeonghan asked.
“I have a keychain plushie that Mingyu is supposed to keep on him until the end of the game. He saw DK give it to me after he stole it, so can you keep it away from him?”
Jeonghan took the small dog plushie from Seungcheol and placed it into his back pocket.
“Okay, now come here.” ☁️ said, dragging Jeonghan next to him while he held his arms up for a hug. Seungcheol wrapped his arms around ☁️’s back, squeezing him slightly as the two embraced. With his head in between Seungcheol‘s shoulders, ☁️ could see Jeonghan place a finger on his mouth while looking over to DK and Dino.
“Are those hickies on your neck?” Seungcheol whispered, continuing his embrace.
“No, just.. bruises. I didn’t sleep that well because you booked us a room with one bed.”
“Doesn’t look like you two slept at all.” Seungcheol said, letting go of ☁️.
“Hey Seungcheol!” DK shouted as ☁️ and Seungcheol had finally let each other go. ☁️ looked over to DK and then to Jeonghan, who had Seungcheol’s phone to his ear.
“Hello?” Jeonghan hummed as he then dragged ☁️ to a corner of the room. He showed the phone screen to a camera attached to the ceiling.
“My mission is complete~” He cooed, smiling brightly. ☁️ stumbled behind again as Jeonghan hurried back over to Seungcheol, holding the man’s phone out as he approached him. He ended the call before Seungcheol was able to snatch the device back.
“Thank you~” Jeonghan waved teasingly. ☁️ smiled at Seungcheol as his mouth was open ajar.
“You two are menaces!” DK yelled out.
——
“So, who completed their missions?”
Jeonghan, ☁️, Dino, Minghao, and Hoshi raised their hands while the others groaned. Jeonghan started.
“My mission was to make a call on somebody else’s phone, and I used Seungcheol’s.”
“You mean you stole it?” Seungcheol argued, throwing his hands up as he spoke. Jeonghan just smiled innocently in response.
“My mission was to follow another member for the entire game, and I followed Jeonghan.” ☁️ stated, him earning some nods from the other members, and another grimace from Dino.
“Anyway, my goal was to make each member wear a sticker until the end of the game. I made sure to get most of them without them knowing. The only people I told were Dokyeom, ☁️, and Jeonghan.” Dino explained, showing everyone his small pack of unpeeled stickers. ☁️ looked over to Jeonghan nervously, the two making eye contact almost immediately.
“I took mine off, actually.” Jeonghan said, showing Dino his wrist. Dino stared at his wrist for a few seconds before smacking the table. He then stood up and began pacing back and forth behind his chair, yelling out as he did so. The group bursted out in laughter as they watched their frustrated maknae sit back down.
After another minute of Minghao and Hoshi explaining how they won (Minghao having to take someone’s flashlight for the rest of the game and doing so by trading one for another with Seungkwan, and Hoshi having to dance the entirety of ‘Super’ uninterrupted- which he did by locking himself in a classroom) the group said goodbye to the cameras and ended their day’s schedule. Their last event was to film a ‘Going Seventeen’ video in a school decorated in a ghostly and haunted fashion, which exhausted everyone.
-
Jeonghan and ☁️ strolled down their hotel’s posh hallway; their hands still intertwined and bodies close together. After a long day, the exhausted duo solely sought to get comfortable.
“Did you want me to make it up to you tonight?” Jeonghan asked with a sly smile.
“As long as you don’t leave another mural along my neck, sure.” ☁️ replied with a tender tone, him then softly squeezing Jeonghan’s hand and looking over at him.
“Alright.”

A long breath emitted from the mouth of a young man. Holding a small stack of tan files, he looked himself up and down in front of an office of frosted windows. His gray dress pants were neat, his sneakers pristine, and his white button-up complimented his gray ‘B.H.’ vest nicely. After deeming himself ready to enter, he took a step forward and used his free hand to knock, him then pushing his boss’s door open.
“Ah, ☁️. Right on time, per usual.” The boss stood up and greeted ☁️, who greeted back and very carefully placed the small stack of files onto the boss’s desk.
“Hello sir, this was requested yesterday. I thought I would take care of it for you.”
As the boss sat down in his gray suit, ☁️ stepped back to stand between two very nice chairs with green cushions. The office was somewhat large with dark blue carpeting, glass walls, and many desks that held achievements and framed papers.
“I admire how hard you work, ☁️. And because of that, I have a gift for you.”
The boss smiled and pulled a tan file from under his dark brown desk, pieces of paper inside of it. The boss took the papers out and turned the top one around to face ☁️. The boy leaned in to read it.
‘Personal assistant? For a boy group? .. This was supposed to be a gift?’
“I’m sorry sir, I don’t quite understand.. You want me to be a personal assistant?” ☁️ frowned at the sight of the paper, him looking back up to his boss.
“Oh don’t give me that look, this is a great opportunity for you! This is a relatively new group, and they have been climbing the charts for the past year and a half. It’ll be great for you! I promise.”
“Well.. are you going to find a new intern then?” ☁️ felt as though he was being demoted. Who would want to be a personal assistant?”
“I don’t think so, with your help our department has been ahead of schedule and paperwork. If I ever need you back here with me, I’ll just call you over.”
“Do I have an option?”
“☁️, you’re going to be getting paid well! You’ll be making more than some of the people working in this office.” The boss held the weight of his chin on the back of his right hand, as if he was thinking hard.
“Here, I’ll give you a deal. If you last a week helping this boy group, and still don’t like it by then, I’ll talk to our department ‘heads about a different promotion opportunity. The last personal assistant for this group got promoted too quickly, which made things hard for the group’s current staff.. though, now she works alongside me.”
☁️ nodded in understanding- the boss’s tangent was slightly convincing. He liked the idea of going from an overworked, unpaid intern, to a simple assistant who got paid well. Seemed easy enough.
“I understand, I think that I’ll take your deal. Thank you for.. this opportunity.” ☁️ smiled awkwardly.
“Great! I’m so happy that you’re agreeing to this, ☁️. You’re going to do so well, and not only for yourself. You’ll be of tremendous help to this group and their manager. I know it.”
The boss put the papers back into the tan file and handed it to ☁️. Unsure that he made the right decision, ☁️ thanked his boss and placed the file under his arm.
“I expect great things! I’ll see you soon, take care.” The boss nodded his head and ☁️ said his goodbyes. Taking his leave, he wondered how a personal assistant would be so significant in this group’s success. Slowly closing the glass door, ☁️ walked toward the elevator. After working for four months as an intern, he was now “promoted” to a personal assistant. At least now he’d be earning a salary.
After taking the elevator down to the ground floor, he stepped out into the majestic lobby and walked to the reception desk. With floors and walls of marble, there was lots of tapping from people going about their business. Walking toward a large, dark brown desk., he waved to farthest left secretary. She was a tall young woman with dark black hair, a person who had quickly befriended ☁️ during his first few days as an intern. The two spoke often, but ☁️ would always forget her name.
After chatting for a few minutes about ☁️’s meeting with the boss, the secretary became ecstatic.
“You should be happy, you’re spending time around a big idol group! That’s great!”
“Yes, I hope I’ll grow to like it. Do you end your shift soon?” ☁️ looked around to make sure there was nobody waiting in line to speak to his friend.
“I do, would you like me to check you out of work for the day? I was going to do the same in a moment.”
“That would be great, thank you! I’ll hopefully see you soon.” ☁️ took a step away from the counter he was leaning on.
“Of course, see you later.” The secretary smiled brightly and the two waved to each other.
☁️ approached the large, glass doors as beautiful oranges and pinks faded into each other over the sky. He stepped out into the city engulfed in warm tones, bustling streets ahead of him.
“You do know you’re an hour and a half early , right?”
☁️ stepped onto the stone staircase of a large cottage, located in the middle of the countryside. A large, wooden fence overgrown with pink flowers and tall grass surrounded the property. ☁️ looked around at the bight yellow sky, the sunrise illuminating birds and pink clouds. Turning around, ☁️ clutched his small bag and began up the stairs. His eyes quickly adjusted to the dim light inside the stone house.
A man in all black, including a black mask and hat, stood in front of the doorframe. He took off his hat and placed a hand on the door.
“Hello, yes, I know I’m early. I figured it would be best to come at this time.” Behind the man in black he saw other people in black running around. Many were carrying things such as equipment, dishes of sorts, and cloth materials.
“You figured correctly. I’m the staff director here and it’s a pleasure to have you join us.” He led ☁️ through the small building, the two dodging other staff members setting up skinny poles and cameras. “I heard many things about you, so i’m glad to have you join us.”
☁️ mentally rolled his eyes at the comment.
“It’s a pleasure.” The boy said as the two stopped at a table in what seemed like a dining room. The table had even more equipment scattered over it. The director called a name out and two women turned their attention from the table to the director and ☁️. The director introduced the two to him. The morning quickly began with many introductions, though ☁️ only could recall about half of them.
After a half hour of introductions and explanations, the director sat ☁️ down at the small dining room table. He explained that there wasn’t much that he needed ☁️ to do other than provide personal assistance to the idol group. Thus, the director instructed ☁️ to simply wait outside for a black van.
With a sigh, Cat sat on a small ledge of the house, waiting for what he assumed to be the arrival of the group. The sky was now clear and bright blue, the sounds of leaves and tall grass rustling filling the silence. After a few minutes, a large black van pulled into the dirt road. ☁️ watched from the steps as two older men dragged suitcases out of the vehicle, five younger men climbing out and stretching. Unsure of what to do, ☁️ walked over to the two older men.
“Hello, I’m the personal assistant for the group. Did you need help with the suitcases?” ☁️ held his hand out, prepared to grab a bag or two.
“Hello, I’m their manager, and we will take care of this. The boys have been complaining about being tired, though. Can you take them to their rooms? Make sure that they know all but one of them are sharing. We will decide where they sleep after filming.”
It was then and there that ☁️ realized that he didn’t know why it is that he was there.
‘Is this a music video set? Or maybe this is just for a retreat?’ the boy wondered to himself. His boss at the company building had informed him of who the group was, but of course he had forgotten their name.
He nervously walked over to the 5 tall boys, them all carrying a backpack. One of the boys had two backpacks, both of which seemed heavy.
“Oh, are you from another group? I thought we were filming a ‘To-Do’ here..” A tall boy tilted his head to the side, visibly confused. ☁️ was confused by his confusion, him furrowing his eyebrows unintentionally.
“I’m sorry?”
“Are you an idol?” The tall boy asked again.
“Oh, no. I’m here as a worker. I’m supposed to be your personal assistant.. or something like that.”
“Oh, okay.” The boy was tired, and ☁️ could sense the same feeling from the four behind him.
“I was instructed to take you to your rooms, so please follow me.” ☁️ felt awkward about their conversation, feeling that it was going to be a long day. The boys were ready to follow him, but ☁️ walked up to the one with two bags, him taking one of them and throwing it around his shoulder.
“I’m ☁️, by the way.” He said, beginning down the dirt path to the cottage. The five followed behind, slowly walking up the stone steps as if their energy was being spent with each step.
The staff weren’t running around at this point, most of them sitting around or talking to each other. Everyone stopped what they were doing as the six boys stepped inside. ☁️ smiled awkwardly, the boys behind him quickly greeting everyone. The room began to fill with ‘hello’s and ‘welcome’s as ☁️ led the group to the other side of the house. They arrived to a dimly lit, narrow hallway. There were three frosted glass doors, natural light emitting from the inside. ☁️ thought about the director’s quick tour, him pretty sure this was where their rooms were.
“The manager said that there are three bedrooms, so only one of you will get your own room. He also said that I’m not allowed to let you pick where you’re sleeping.”
The boys all grunted, clearly annoyed with the staff. They all looked at each other, and then back at ☁️.
“They said it was fine if you rest, though. So you can pick them now, just understand that it’s temporary.” ☁️ spoke formally to them, watching as they looked to each other again.
“How do you want to split up?” A boy with big eyes asked, looking around.
“I’m getting my own room, you guys can figure it out.” One of them stated, walking past ☁️ toward the room directly down the hall. Another one of the boys gripped his shoulder, pulling him back.
“No, you and Taehyun can share.”
The group began bickering about the room toward the end of the hall, though one of them stood behind and looked at ☁️. It was the boy who had two backpacks, him seemingly about to fall asleep standing up. ☁️ looked back at him, both mesmerized by his beauty and a bit worried.
“Uh, all of the rooms have two beds. Why don’t you get some rest.” ☁️ opened the door behind him, holding it for the tired boy to walk through. The room was a decent size for such a small cottage- the beds were a few feet apart with a nightstand in between. Wooden floors held beige walls with a few small paintings. Above the bed on the other side of room sat a large window with see-through lavender curtains. A beautiful view of a large garden with flowers of pink and purple added to the scenery of the blue sky. On the other side of the room, a large wooden dresser sat against the wall.
The boy muttered a ‘thank you’ and threw his bag onto the floor. He fell onto the bed, resting his head opposite from the window and toward the door. ☁️ softly placed the heavy bag from around his shoulder next to the bed, then dragging the dropped one beside the nightstand.
“Are you really our personal assistant? We haven’t had one in a while..” The boy mumbled as he laid on the bed, eyes closed. ☁️ walked to the bed on the other side, which was only a few feet from the boy’s.
“What makes you think that I’m not?” ☁️ asked jokingly. A cool breeze flew into the room, brushing against ☁️’s cheeks and neck.
“You’re attractive. And not wearing a mask like a lot of the other staff.” The boy paused. “That’s why Soobin thought you were in a group. I think.”
☁️ was taken aback by the idol’s comment, it making him blush and become nervous at the same time. Analyzing the boy’s soft features, ☁️ realized that he still didn’t know their names.
“Thank you, you’re attractive too. What’s your name?”
The boy opened his eyes and lifted his head. He looked at ☁️ sleepily. “You don’t know our names?”
☁️ choked on his words, a bit embarrassed. “I do.. I’m just bad with remembering them. I’ll know when you remind me.”
The boy laid his head down on his arm, looking at ☁️. “You can call me Hyuka. That’s what they call me.”
Two of the other members busted into the room, Hyuka immediately pretending to have fallen asleep.
“He’s already sleeping?”
☁️ recalled that the tall one was Soobin, but didn’t know who the one with the middle part was. He looked over to Hyuka, who continued to “sleep.”
“Yes, he just fell asleep.” ☁️ stood up, walking away from the bed so that Soobin could place his bag down.
“I’ll just room with Taehyun, then.” The other said, ☁️ following him out of the room and shutting the door softly. The other boy walked into Taehyun’s room across from Hyuka’s, and shut the door.
Now that ☁️ was warming up to the group, he felt better about the time he was going to spend with them. He walked down a few halls to the living room, where the staff director watched a tiny camera being installed into a corner of the ceiling.
“Excuse me.” ☁️ said, standing behind him.
“Ah yes, are the boys resting?”
“Yes, they are. Is there anything you need me to do now?”
“You should rest for a while too. You were here super early. Take the extra bed in one of the rooms and I’ll grab you when we film tonight.”
☁️ felt as though this ‘personal assistant’ job was unproductive. He sighed and nodded, grabbing his bag from a chair on the dining room table. The director followed behind him.
“☁️,” The director tapped the boy’s shoulder as he picked up his bag. He turned around quickly.
“This job.. it may seem fruitless at first. These ‘To-Do’ projects are mostly just a break for the immediate staff, which you are considered. Enjoy your leisure time with the boys before you become a lot more occupied during the promotion projects.”
☁️ understood his position now, him thanking the director for the explanation. The two parted ways, as ☁️ returned to the narrow hallway. He walked all the way down, opening the door very slowly as to not wake the boy sleeping. To his surprise, one of the boys and Soobin slept peacefully across from each other. Retracing his steps, he lightly shut the door and walked over to Hyuka’s room.
Hyuka snored loudly, causing ☁️ to assume that it bothered Soobin. ☁️ walked over to his bed and placed his bag down. He then grabbed a pillow, and walked to Hyuka’s bed. He placed the pillow beside Hyuka. Gently lifting the boy’s heavy head and shoulders, he quickly slid the pillow under. Hyuka’s snoring stopped, and he repositioned himself in his sleep.
Relieved, ☁️ walked over to his bed, passing out as soon as he climbed into it.
A pair of hands lightly shook ☁️’s shoulder. Slowly opening his eyes, Hyuka was on one knee in front of the bed. Behind him, the curtains blew a soft breeze into the room. White clouds flew across the bright blue sky as ☁️’s upper body rose from the bed.
“Hey, what’s up?”
“Wanna go for a walk?” Hyuka stared into the boy’s eyes, almost without emotion.
“I’m not sure..” ☁️ rubbed his eyes and threw the blanket off of his legs. He looked over to the window, the bright atmosphere meaning that there was still time before they filmed.
“..let me make sure it’s okay with the staff director.”
Hyuka nodded and stood up, him then walking over to his bed and sitting. ☁️ stood up, grabbed his phone, and opened the door.
“I’ll come with, so we can just leave after.”
Hyuka stood up immediately and walked over to the door, holding it open as the two talked.
“What if he says no?” ☁️ raised an eyebrow. Hyuka smiled at the action.
“You’re our assistant, I command you to go on a walk with me.” Hyuka smiled flippantly, ☁️ rolling his eyes as he walked out of the room.
“That’s not how this works.”
-
Hyuka looked over to ☁️, grabbing his arm. Since the film director had left to his hotel, the manager had given them permission to leave for a bit.
“Be back in a half hour, please.”
Hyuka dragged ☁️ by his arm out of the cottage door, him only letting go when the door was closed behind them.
“Why did you want to go on a walk again?” ☁️ looked around at the nature surrounding the two.
“There’s a path over here. The others were still sleeping, and I really wanted to go.” Hyuka looked from the sky to ☁️, his eyes asking permission to begin walking down the steps and toward the path.
“Lead the way.” ☁️ said with a light smile. The two quickly made their way down the stone steps, and through the grass to the other side of the house. There was a wooden gate blocking the entrance to the garden, which Hyuka power walked over to. ☁️ assumed this was so that he could open the door for him, which he did.
☁️ laughed at the action and thanked him, Hyuka just nodding shyly. The two walked through the bushes and large patches of flowers, ☁️ pretty much following Hyuka as he wandered around. Eventually the two found a bench next to a small bird fountain. ☁️ sat after Hyuka, with their backs now to the cottage.
“We can see our room’s window from over here.” Hyuka turned around to look back at the cottage, ☁️ following his action. The boys gasped as they saw two heads looking at them through the window. Once spotted, those two heads jumped out of view.
“Who’s in our room?” ☁️ asked, somewhat annoyed.
“I think it’s Beomgyu and Yeonjun. They’re nosey.” Hyuka got up and took a few steps to the left. He turned around, motioning for ☁️ to follow. The two walked toward the end of the garden, where the path that Hyuka was talking about was located. It was a narrow dirt path surrounded by tall trees. Sunlight broke through branches above, illuminating small parts of the path. Hyuka once again opened the gate for ☁️, the two then walking side by side.
☁️ would occasionally look over to Hyuka as the two walked in silence, Hyuka occasionally catching his gaze. Hyuka’s face didn’t display an ounce of expression. His lips were sealed, and he was faced forward, aside from when he looked at ☁️.
After a minute or two of walking aimlessly down the path, ☁️ thought to himself out loud.
“I didn’t think idols were this.. nonchalant.” He looked over to Hyuka, who immediately glanced back to him, furrowing his eyebrows.
“What do you mean?” Hyuka responded, ☁️ noticing that he seemed almost offended by the comment.
“I just meant that you’re so.. nice. That’s the impression you gave me, anyway.” ☁️ stopped as the two arrived at the end of the path. A large opening in the trees displayed large green fields and mountains. The two were very high up, though it didn’t seem like their elevation was increasing as they walked. A brightly lit bench sat in a dirt area directly in the middle of this opening, large rocks surrounding the ledge.
Hyuka stood next to ☁️, visibly choking on his words. ☁️ felt bad for almost laughing at him, so he grabbed Hyuka’s arm and led him to the bench a few feet in the distance. The two sat facing each other, with ☁️ to the left and Hyuka to the right. ☁️ watched as the sun’s golden rays stretched across Hyuka’s soft skin, the boy finally finding his words.
“You’re nice, too. Idols.. I guess they get a bad reputation. You should get to know me more.” Hyuka looked from the beautiful view to ☁️. “I wanna get to know you more, anyway.”
☁️ was now the one at a loss for words. He wasn’t sure if Hyuka was just being nice or flirting with him. The two boys now staring at each other, Hyuka became embarrassed.
“Sorry, I don’t mean to be..”
“No, no, no. It’s fine, you’re fine.” ☁️ didn’t want to give him the wrong impression, and it was clear that Hyuka thought that he made things awkward.
“I’d like to get to know you more, too. You’re sweet.” ☁️ placed a leg on the bench seat and turned his entire body to face Hyuka. The two smiled playfully, leaning into each other.
“Glad we’re on the same page.” Hyuka placed his left arm behind ☁️, as he leaned closer. ☁️ now understood what Hyuka was trying to say. After a few seconds of him processing, Hyuka’s face was only inches away from ☁️’s.
☁️ used his pointer finger and thumb to hold Hyuka’s chin, directing the boy’s lips over to his own. Surprised by his own actions, ☁️ titled his head and placed an arm around Hyuka’s neck. Hyuka responded by placing his left hand under ☁️’s thigh and lifting the boy onto him. With ☁️ now brushing against Hyuka’s torso, the two made out passionately, Hyuka kissing sloppily. Hyuka slowly slid his tongue into ☁️’s mouth, him then doing the same. Their tongues softly brushed against each other as ☁️ ran his hand through Hyuka’s hair, Hyuka gripping his ass.
After a minute, ☁️ lifted his mouth away from Hyuka’s to catch his breath. Hyuka furrowed his eyebrows at the action, placing his lips on ☁️’s neck and kissing gently as a substitute. ☁️ rubbed his hands up and down Hyuka’s chest, panting as he felt the boy’s kisses turn into bites.
☁️ pushed Hyuka’s head away softly, the two looking into each other’s eyes for a moment. Hyuka’s straight hair swayed as the breeze began to pick up.
“Don’t leave marks. If they find out th-”
“It doesn’t matter.”
Hyuka lifted the boy again, adjusting so that ☁️ sat on his hard bulge. ☁️ began rotating his hips on Hyuka as they quickly returned to each other’s lips. Hyuka roughly anchored ☁️’s waist to his hips as he thrusted into him.
Hyuka was bulkier than he looked, and his chest was a fondled through his black shirt multiple times as ☁️ couldn’t get enough of it. As Hyuka’s thrusts became more aggressive, ☁️’s kisses got sloppier.
☁️ occasionally opened his eyes while they made out, the boy noticing that Hyuka’s skin became a bright orange color. ☁️ pulled away from the boy, removing his arm from his around neck and turning to face the sky. It had turned bright orange, the low, pink clouds lingering as the sun was beginning to set. Hyuka wrapped his arms around ☁️’s waist, continuing to feel down the boy on top of him. He looked up expectantly with soft eyes, but ☁️ only let out a troubled sigh.
“We should start heading back.”
☁️ gave Hyuka one last and sudden kiss as he lifted a leg off of the boy. The two now sat on the bench again, in silence.
“Did you know this was over here?” ☁️ looked over to Hyuka, who glanced back as he wiped his face.
“No, it’s our first time in this side of the city.”
☁️ wiped his face and nodded in understanding, him then standing up. Hyuka followed his actions, though he had to readjust the bump in his crotch area. ☁️ smiled at the boy as he shifted his pants around, Hyuka smiling back in embarrassment. His print wasn’t super noticeable in his jeans, anyway.
The two hurried out of the dirt area, and down the path as the forest began to get darker. Hyuka broke the silence after a few minutes.
“Why did you ask if I knew that the bench was there earlier?” He looked over to ☁️, though the dimness of the forest made it hard to see his facial expressions.
“No reason.”
“My intention wasn’t to.. you know, do that. With you.” Hyuka kept his gaze on the boy next to him until he responded.
“I believe you. Though, I think you wanted to do a little more than get to know me.” ☁️ smiled, knowing Hyuka wouldn’t be able to see it. Hyuka grabbed ☁️’s arm firmly as they continued walking.
“No, I want to get to know you. Seriously, I like you.” Hyuka’s voice became whiny, as through he was once again offended by ☁️’s words.
“I’m kidding, don’t worry.” ☁️ removed Hyuka’s grasp from his arm, and instead interlocked hands with the boy. “This won’t be able to go anywhere, though, you know that right?”
Hyuka remained silent for a few seconds, ☁️ sensing that he was unsatisfied with the comment.
“Why not?”
“You’re an international popstar and idol. Did you forget that?”
The two noticed the light from the cottage ahead. By this point, the sky was bright purple, only a few orange clouds still remaining.
“I can make it work. I’ll just hide you.”
☁️ rolled his eyes, though he thought it was cute how seriously Hyuka was taking their conversation.
“Okay Mr. Idol.”
Hyuka let go of ☁️’s hand to walk ahead and open the wooden gate’s door for him.
“Where have you two been?”
The boy with the middle part walked into the living room just as Hyuka and ☁️ did.
“Which one’s this, again?” ☁️ asked jokingly, though he didn’t actually know the boys name.
“You work for us and don’t even know our names?” He exclaimed, his ego visibly hurt.
“That’s what I said.” Hyuka smiled at the face the boy was making- his mouth was open ajar and his eyes were practically squinting. “Fix your face Yeonjun.”
Yeonjun glared at Hyuka, then looking over to ☁️ expectantly. “Well, where were you?”
“We went for a walk down a dirt trail.” Hyuka responded.
“And what’s on your neck?” Yeonjun lazily pointed to ☁️. The boy froze and looked at Yeonjun, then to Hyuka.
“A branch.. fell on him. On our way back.” Hyuka said with a perfect poker face. He broke the facade when he smiled awkwardly to ☁️, almost as to ask for help.
“Yea, the winds were really, well, rough. It didn’t hurt.. but I bruise easily. I guess.” ☁️ held a hand over the bruise and brushed his fingers over it.
“Right..” Yeonjun turned his gaze to Hyuka, who smiled innocently at him. Another boy entered the room, ☁️ not knowing this one either.
“What took you guys so long?” He said, walking into the open kitchen area.
“☁️ has a bruise on his neck.” Yeonjun yelled to him. Huening muttered the word ‘asshole’ under his breath as the boy in the kitchen looked at ☁️.
“Come check it out, Taehyun.” Yeonjun yelled again, trying not to smirk. Taehyun walked over to ☁️, Yeonjun motioning toward his neck. ☁️ hesitantly pulled down his top’s neckline so Taehyun could see it clearly.
“How’d that happen?” Taehyun looked to Hyuka, concerned.
“He got hit by something flying in the wind. We couldn’t see well because it got dark.” Hyuka responded, his voice monotone.
“You said it was a tree branch.” Yeonjun snarled.
“I never said that.”
“You just said that?!” Yeonjun furrowed his eyebrows in both anger and confusion.
“No I didn’t.”
☁️ decided to play Hyuka’s game by teasing the boy. “Yeonjun, are you okay?”
Taehyun looked at Yeonjun and sighed. “The staff will be here soon. Maybe you should rest some more before they come.”
“I should beat you.” Yeonjun grabbed Hyuka’s shirt as Hyuka laughed at him, Taehyun grabbing Yeonjun’s arm and dragging him away.
“☁️, follow me so I can put some ointment on the bruise.” Taehyun said as he and Yeonjun walked away. Yeonjun grilled ☁️ about whether or not Hyuka talked about a branch. ☁️ just shrugged, which made the boy go feral and walk away from him and Taehyun.
-
Taehyun knelt on the bathroom tiles as ☁️ sat on the toilet. The idol carefully applied a cream over the bruise as they sat in silence.
“Alright, all done.”
“Thank you.” ☁️ said as the two stood up. Taehyun placed the cream tube in a small bag. He didn’t turn away from the bag, though he opened his mouth, hesitating to speak. ☁️ noticed and waited for him to do so.
“You should be careful, ☁️. Please, no more branches falling on you. Or Huening Kai.” Taehyun must’ve understood what was going on, ☁️ catching on quickly.
“It won’t happen again.” ☁️ muttered feeling embarrassed. Taehyun also sensed his embarrassment.
“At least don’t make it obvious.”
☁️ nodded, Taehyun finally turning to him and smiling. The two left the bathroom and walked down the hall just as the staff arrived with large duffle bags.
“We’re filming in 10!” The staff director yelled.
-
The filming lasted around 2 hours. The concept of the video was simple, and ☁️ sat behind the camera alongside the director, manager, and other staff. Simply watching the boys in silence, ☁️ occasionally adjusted his hoodie to cover the bruise, or played with the black mask around his face.
The five idols were each given a mission on a piece of paper. They had to find a specific object, though their papers only contained riddles and hints to the other boy’s objects. Soobin and Taehyun quickly shared the hints to each other, leaving out the other three. Beomgyu and Yeonjun teamed up against Hyuka, leaving the boy without any hints. Hyuka wandered around the house, not sure what it was he was loookign for.
Irritated, he gave up and walked over to his room, lying on his bed and staring at the ceiling. There was a camera hidden in the room, the staff laughing at Hyuka’s behavior.
The staff director snapped his fingers at ☁️, who immediately turned his attention to him.
“Deliver these papers to Huening Kai, please.” He whispered as Beomgyu and Yeonjun had walked into the living room. ☁️ looked at the papers and stood up, them all containing a hint to Hyuka’s item. ☁️ walked over to the room, knocking before entering.
Hyuka was surprised to see ☁️ walk in while they were filming, him lifting his body up to sit and face the boy. Hyuka’s face was red and his eyebrows were arched, making him look mean. ☁️ simply handed the papers to Hyuka, and tiptoed back to where the manager sat on the floor.
Eventually, Hyuka found his item before the others, his prize being that he got to have a room to himself. He knew he was temporarily sharing that room with ☁️, which made him express less agitation towards everyone.
-
The team began to pack the cameras and equipment away to head back home. The five idols were staying behind as the next few days were their mini-vacation.
As ☁️ grabbed his bag from Hyuka’s room, the group’s manager approached him. It was just them two, as Hyuka was still in the living room helping the staff. Standing in the doorway, the manager knocked on the door to catch ☁️’s attention.
“Hello, ☁️. Please feel free to decline the offer, but one of the boys asked if you could stay with them for the retreat. It’s only a few days, and the entire week will be paid. It’s up to you.”
☁️ recalled that his boss gave him a week to work with the group before he could be considered for another position. A week working while also on a retreat sounded great.
“I’ll accept. I just need a ride to the hotel to grab my other bags.”
“I’ll have someone drive you, please come with me.” The manager nodded, motioning ☁️ to follow him. On his way out behind the other staff, Hyuka grabbed ☁️’s arm and squeezed.
“You’re going to stay, right?” Hyuka asked in a low-pitched voice. He was clearly still upset.
“Yes, I’m just grabbing my stuff.”
Hyuka let go of his arm, watching motionlessly as the staff made their way outside. The sky was now pitch black, and light drizzle filling the air.
“☁️.”
“Yes, Hyuka?”
“What’re you doing.”
“I’m just scrolling through social media. Why?” ☁️ turned to face Hyuka as the two boys laid in silence.
“Can you come over here?” Hyuka was lying on his back, once again staring at the ceiling above. Rain droplets lightly tapped against the window beside him. ☁️ rolled his eyes and continued scrolling.
“Why, Hyuka?”
☁️ waited for a response, only to hear Hyuka sigh heavily. He looked over, seeing the boy turn to his side to face the wall. ☁️ turned his phone off and placed it on the nightstand, him then walking over to Hyuka’s bed. He placed his body down behind the boy, wrapping an arm around his torso. Hyuka turned to face ☁️, their bodies only inches apart.
“You still upset?” ☁️ removed his arm from around Hyuka, placing his hand on Hyuka’s chest instead. Hyuka pressed his hand on top of ☁️’s, guiding it along his pecs.
“I’m not.”
“Good.”
Hyuka placed a hand on ☁️’s waist, slowly moving that hand down to his ass. ☁️ felt his body heat up, which resulted in him once again grabbing Hyuka’s chin.
“Wanna finish what we started?” ☁️ asked, Hyuka then pulling the boy’s body into to him. Without saying a word, Hyuka climbed on top of ☁️ and placed himself in between his legs. The two locked lips and let their tongues run loose into each other. It didn’t take long for Hyuka to thrust into ☁️ again, though the thrusts were much more aggressive than earlier.
After another minute or two, Hyuka removed his shirt, revealing his muscular pecs. He smiled at ☁️’s reaction, him then tugging lightly at the boy’s pants. ☁️ was quick to kick the pajama pants and underwear off, watching as Hyuka’s mouth came closer and closer to his cock. Hyuka stroked it for a few seconds before shoving it into his mouth, quickly bobbing up and down. ☁️ couldn’t help but occasionally moan at the sensation. Grabbing Hyuka’s hair, he thrusted upwards into his mouth.
After a while, Hyuka pinned ☁️’s body down to the bed with one hand. He lifted his mouth off of ☁️’s cock, a trail or two of saliva following it. Hyuka then climbed off of the bed to take off his own pants and underwear. Hyuka’s legs were muscular and well defined, surprising ☁️.
He watched as Hyuka climbed on top of him, sitting directly above his chest. He stroked his flaccid cock for a few seconds before placing it right in front of ☁️’s mouth. ☁️ opening slowly, Hyuka waisted no time to thrust into it, making him choke almost immediately. ☁️ pushed the boy away to catch his breath, though Hyuka put it right back in. ☁️ was now the one bobbing his head on Hyuka’s length, which grew much longer as he began using his tongue. Hyuka ran a hand through ☁️’s hair, gripping the boy’s head to make him suck faster. Hyuka softly moaned, clearly enjoying the boy’s mouth.
He pulled his dick out and moved to ☁️’s side, Hyuka then flipping the boy onto his stomach. ☁️ got on his hands and knees, arching his back slightly as Hyuka positioned himself behind his ass. He grabbed ☁️’s shoulders and lifted them upwards so that the boy’s back was against his chest. ☁️ could feel Hyuka’s chest brush against his back as the idol’s big dick twitched in between ☁️’s ass cheeks. Hyuka leaned into the boy, turning his head and locking their lips together. The two rubbed their hips against each other as ☁️’s body became even hotter. ☁️ removed his lips from Hyuka’s and placed the boy’s hands on his waist. Hyuka placed his lips on ☁️’s neck, kissing on it once more. He grabbed his dick, smacking it against ☁️’s ass a few times.
“Ready?”
BONUS
“I thought idols weren’t supposed to get any action.” ☁️ laid on his back with only a tee shirt and underwear. Hyuka rested his head on ☁️’s chest with an arm around the boy’s body, wearing only sweatpants.
“We don’t.”
“Then how’re you so good?” ☁️ slowly ran a finger through Hyuka’s hair. He felt the boy shrug against his body, Hyuka clearly becoming sleepy. ☁️ rolled his eyes as Hyuka closed his, with the company the two provided each other easing them both to rest.
“Goodnight, ☁️.”
☁️ smiled as he continued playing with the boy’s hair.

The bustling city that was Gotham presented almost-vacant streets to the duo speeding through them. Red Hood’s motorcycle roared as ☁️ clung tight onto the vigilante’s torso, practically scared for his life.
It took only a few minutes before the two had reached Gotham University’s campus. Red Hood turned his bike lights off and turned slowly into a familiar side street before pulling over and stopping completely.
“Get off.” Red Hood instructed, the boy doing as told immediately. The vigilante dug into one of his black pant’s many pockets, pulling out a small ear piece. He held it out to ☁️ while using his other hand to dig some more.
“Put this into your ear.” His voice buzzed through his mask, ☁️ following his order again. The boy watched as Red Hood pulled his hand out of another pocket and tossed a small metal square to him. It was light with a smaller square carved into the middle.
“This is in case everything goes south. It’ll alert the police, so only use it when I say to.”
☁️ nodded in understanding, a bit intimidated by the masked man in front of him.
“Here are the rules. Do as I say. Stay behind me unless I say otherwise. Don’t be loud, and use the earpieces when trying to talk to me from a distance. Just tap and hold it- it’ll basically act as a walkie-talkie. Got it?”
“How do you use the square?” ☁️ asked, holding it out to him.
“You press the smaller square in the middle. Put it in your pocket so you don’t do it accidentally.”
☁️ nodded, putting it into his right pocket that also held his phone. Red Hood kicked his stand up.
“We need to go, get on.”
☁️ jumped onto the bike and threw his hands around the vigilante, the man then accelerating forward. He turned left into an alley with a dirt road, moving quickly without making much noise. Driving through the grass after steering off-road, Red Hood swerved slyly around trees despite the lack of light.
With the two now on the barn’s side, the two hopped off of the bike and let it fall to the ground. The vigilante pulled an object from out of a pocket and aimed it at the roof, shooting a rope that clung to the top of the building. He attached the object to his hip and turned to ☁️.
“We’re climbing up.” Red hood stated, pushing ☁️ in front of the rope. Placing one foot onto the building, the boy attempted to pull himself up and begin climbing. He began sliding back down almost immediately, causing the vigilante to groan.
“This was a mistake..”
☁️ sighed. “I don’t climb up buildings everyday. Sorry.”
He watched as Red Hood placed a foot on the building’s side and held the rope in his fist. “I’ll push you up, step in front of me.”
☁️ furrowed his eyebrows but did as told, grabbing some of the rope and lifting a foot up.
“Now start walking up, I’ll keep a hand on you.”
☁️ started upwards with Red Hood’s hand supporting his back.
“Go quicker.”
The boy began tugging at the rope with more force, the two almost running up the barn’s side. After a few minutes of struggling, Red Hood pushed ☁️ over the edge and onto the black triangular roof. He then jumped up next to him, grabbing the rope device’s hook out of a roof tile.
☁️ turned to lean against the roof, him getting nervous after looking at the ground more than 40 feet below. Red Hood waved his hand to get the boy’s attention. He held a finger to his ear and used his other hand to open a large hatch.
“Again, here’s the plan. I go in, you stay a few steps behind me. Don’t do anything unless I tell you to. We’re going to jump into the hayloft, and make our way down. Oh, and talk in whispers with the communicators. Got it?” ☁️ heard Red hood speak in whispers through the device in his hear. The vigilante then jumped through the hatch, leaving it open for ☁️. The boy lowered a leg in but couldn’t feel the floor, causing him to grab the hatch’s door and hold it over his head. He jumped in, letting it close without much noise.
The hayloft was pitch black, with the only light coming from the small rectangular windows on the front and back ends of the walls. ☁️ placed his finger on his ear.
“How are we supposed to see in the dark?”
“The mask has night vision. I’ll give you my flashlight.”
☁️ felt an object tap his arm a few seconds later, making him jump lightly. After realizing it was probably the flashlight, he grabbed it and switched it on.
“Keep it on the lowest setting, but turn it off if there’s people around.” Red Hood instructed as ☁️ followed him over to another hatch.
“Okay.”
The vigilante opened it slightly and scanned the area as the boy waited behind him.
“This doesn’t look like a barn on the inside. Looks more like an old home. Get ready to jump in.” Red Hood whispered as ☁️ kneeled beside him. The man opened the hatch slightly and slipped in, ☁️ following right behind. The two stood in the middle of a dusty hallway with red carpeting over a wooden floor. The wallpaper a pale green with floral designs, it truly did look like an old home. A man lied motionless on the floor a few feet in front of the two, Red Hood walking over to him and kneeling down.
“Nightwing is here, but he’s on the other side of this big ass building. We need to find him before we do anything else.” Red hood whispered through his communicator.
“But what about the missing people? Could that guy be one of them?”
“Doesn’t look like it.. he has a walkie talkie in his jacket pocket. We’ll find the students when we find him.”
☁️ didn’t understand, but also didn’t question it. He stepped over the knocked-out man and followed Red Hood down the dimly lit hallway line with a few white doors. ☁️ eventually trudged down a wooden staircase that sat against the wall, with the only noise being the creaking wood in which they stepped on.
Red Hood pulled his guns out and aimed them at the floor below them, causing ☁️ to crouch down as he descended slowly from behind. The man cleared the area, motioning for ☁️ to come off of the steps and into the small room of wooden walls and a floor of dirt. To the right was a wooden wall that held a large amount of farm materials. There were metal boxes that laid against this wall, which ☁️ almost immediately recognized. He looked to the left to find a wide walkway that led down what seemed like forever. There were very few lights hanging from above, leaving the ground in large circles of yellow, illuminated areas surrounded by darkness. The walls were also wooden there, and the floor was nothing but dirt and pieces of hay. ☁️ quickly turned his attention back to the boxes beside him, placing a finger to his ear as Red Hood approached the walkway.
“I saw them carrying these in.”
Red Hood turned around, then hurrying over to ☁️ and opening one of the metallic suitcases. With the boy shining his flashlight over it, the two caught sight of small vials of olive green liquid lying side by side- most having already been removed. The man grabbed a couple and handed them to ☁️, looking over his shoulder as he did so.
“Put these in your pocket and don’t let them break. Turn off your flashlight, too.”
☁️ nodded, placing the vials into his left pocket and switching the flashlight off. He threw it into his hoodie pocket and turned his attention back to Red Hood.
“Also, new plan. If you see anybody, you let me know immediately. Keep your eyes pealed at all times. Even on the ceilings. Let’s go.”
Red Hood grabbed a few pieces of rope from a tool rack above him and handed them to a concerned ☁️.
“What do you mean? What’re in the tubes?”
“I have an idea, but you don’t need to worry about it unless you breathe it in. So don’t break ‘em.”
As the two made their way toward the walkway, the vigilante pushed the boy to the wall.
“Stay against the walls so you’re in the shadows. Use the ropes when I say to.”
“For what?”
“Don’t question me.” Red Hood whispered in response, running to the other side of the wall and disappearing into the shadows. ☁️’s ear piece buzzed. “We need to cover a lot of ground. Make sure you move quickly.”
☁️ saw the flash of the vigilante’s mask hurry alongside the wall, him then doing the same. They passed a few doors held shut by wooden planks before coming across a man lying in the center of a lit area. Red Hood whispered a “Stop.” before stepping out of the shadow to examine the man. ☁️ watched nervously as the vigilante checked his pulse and inspected his body.
Turning his head to look behind the three of them, ☁️ didn’t see anybody around. Upon scanning the area in front of them, he noticed another two bodies in the distance. Red Hood jumped back into the shadows a moment later.
“He’s fine, just beat up. Keep moving.”
“There’s more of them two lights ahead.”
☁️ heard Red Hood mutter a “shit..” before responding.
“Someone’s messing with us. Keep going.”
Red Hood popped back out of the shadows to check the people in the distance, causing ☁️ to continue down the hallway while still against the wall.
Him now standing opposite to the vigilante, he watched as Red Hood hurried back out of the light after checking over the people.
“They’re also fine. My monitor says Nightwing’s right behind that door. I’m gonna go in first, wait a few minutes before following.”
☁️ glanced over to the wooden door that was now around 20 feet away. A glare caught the boy’s eye, causing him to shift his gaze onto a wooden beam high up near the ceiling. A black figure stood beside the hanging light, stalking them in an animalistic stance. ☁️ placed his finger to his ear almost immediately.
“Uh- there’s someone above us on the ceiling’s beam. See them?”
“Shit...” Red Hood muttered. “Go back to the other end of the room and lay low. Hurry up.”
☁️ jogged back, but stopped halfway to see what would happen. He knelt next to one of the wooden doors, placing a hand on it as he waited.
A few muffled shots echoed through the hallway, surprising ☁️- though mostly due to the sound not being as loud as he would’ve thought. The figure on the beam ran out of sight after Red Hood shot at them from the shadows. He boldly walked into the middle of the illuminated area beside to two people lying on the ground, seemingly waiting for the figure to approach him. Upon keeping his gaze at the ceiling, ☁️ could see the figure swinging over to another beam above him. ☁️ placed his hand on his ear once again.
“He’s on the beam behind you.”
As soon as Red Hood turned around, a man of black and blues swooped down directly at him. The man barely jumping out of the way, ☁️ watched as Nightwing charged at the vigilante with batons in hand. Red Hood fired more shots, causing ☁️ to duck down.
Nightwing’s movements were disoriented and slow, allowing Red Hood to slam him onto the ground and pin him.
“☁️, the ropes!”
☁️ rushed out of the shadows and over to a struggling Red Hood. Upon reaching him, the boy watched as Nightwing threw Red Hood off of him and rolled toward ☁️ in a combative stance. The boy yelped and took a few steps back from the hero, who slowly approached him. After a few seconds, Nightwing pulled out an electric baton and prepared to throw it at ☁️, who then leaped into the shadows. Red Hood released a few shots from behind the two immediately after, ☁️ witnessing Nightwing’s dramatic descent to the ground. Seeing the hero hold his legs and groan in pain, ☁️ hurried over to stand beside Red Hood.
“You shot Nightwing?”
“They’re rubber bullets. He’ll be alright.”
“Well, what do we do now?”
“I need to make a call. Drag him into the shadow.”
☁️ huffed as he walked over to the man, afraid to touch him. After quickly grabbing Nightwing’s batons from beside him and rolling them over to the wall, ☁️ took Nightwing’s arm and slowly dragged him to the wall. He softly rested his head on the ground, unsure of what the hero’s lack of resistance meant. The man then grabbed ☁️’s wrist and pulled it back, causing the boy to fall onto a knee. ☁️ grabbed the electric baton from beside him without thinking twice, shoving it into Nightwing’s arm. He shook violently for a second or two before ☁️ threw the stick back to the side, feeling Nightwing’s grasp loosen and his head fell back. Red Hood approached the two of them upon seeing the altercation.
“Robin’s on his way. Stay put and wait for him to come.”
“Why couldn’t Batman come?”
“This is beneath him apparently. I’m going into the room now, stay here and use the batons again if needed.”
☁️ nodded, watching as Red Hood ran over to the double-wooden doors at the end of the hallway. Upon opening it, ☁️ could see a few people already on the ground, choosing to look away. He became anxious, wondering where Alessio and Dick were. He crawled beside Nightwing’s head and sat as the sound of glass breaking, people yelling, and muffled gunshots echoed out of the next room.
“I wonder if you were able to find Alessio or Dick.” ☁️ looked over to Nightwing, who remained asleep on the floor. Wondering how he came to be sitting beside a knocked-out hero with another shooting up the room beside him, he sighed. “You really should wake up soon.”
—
While ☁️ waited for Robin, Red Hood took the many ropes that the boy carried, using them to tie the arms of everyone in the next room. ☁️ didn’t question it, and he didn’t bother looking inside either. The air quickly became thick, and an unshakable headache lingered in ☁️’s head.
It took Robin around 15 minutes to arrive and then find Nightwing. Upon running over to the two with a black suitcase in hand, he opened the box and injected something into Nightwing’s arm. The hero woke up after a few minutes of distribution, him rising up as if coming back from the dead. ☁️ hadn’t seen Red Hood since he had left the room.
“Did I get high on that shit again?” Nightwing asked, rubbing his head.
“Red Hood said you did.” Robin responded.
The two simultaneously shifted their attention to ☁️, who was taken aback by the man’s familiar voice.
“Oh, uh ☁️.. Why’re you.. here?” Nightwing asked in a much deeper tone, grabbing his batons from behind ☁️ and standing up. Robin and the boy followed his action, though Nightwing didn’t last long before falling into ☁️ and wincing in pain. He gripped the boy’s shoulder as he placed all of his weight onto him, ☁️ silently struggling to keep him up.
“My uh.. friend, Jason, sent his.. “friend” to help find my friends, but his friend was pretty focused on finding you.”
As if on cue, Red Hood walked out of the room dragging a motionless scarecrow on the floor. ☁️ didn’t pay him much mind, though, as Nightwing’s weight held his attention hostage- oh. And the fact that the hero knew his name.
“Wait.. how do you know my name?”
“He took you here..?” Nightwing gritted through his teeth. Robin laughed nervously, grabbing Nightwing’s arm and throwing it over his shoulder to help hold him up. The boy motioned ☁️ away, him hearing the three of them “discussing” a few seconds later.
☁️ wandered to closest wooden door along the walkway. A wooden plank lied horizontally, barring the door shut. After noticing a somewhat-large crack in the structure, he bent down and peered through it, seeing movement. ☁️ stood back up and softly removed the plank, placing it beside him. Opening the door slightly, a thin line of light illuminated what seemed to be a face. A metallic object beside the person reflected that light, it flashing in and out of view as the figure began slowly approaching ☁️. The person crawled on all fours, which scared the boy, causing him to gently shut the door. He turned to the trio a few feet away from him, noticing that they were all looking at him.
“You didn’t open that door, did you?” Nightwing asked sonorously, him then noticing the plank on the ground.
“Well, I-“
The door swung open, hitting ☁️ and causing him to trip over the plank. He turned his head while on his hands and knees, recognizing the boy who frantically ran out of the room. It was Alessio, but he had a look of vexation and bewilderment. His eyes were red, his brown hair messy, and his gray polo shirt slightly torn alongside large patches of dirt. Although relieved to see his friend alive, he knew the boy wasn’t in his right mind- ☁️ assuming he had suffered the same fate that Nightwing had.
Red Hood jumped between ☁️ and the animalistic Alessio a few feet behind him, while Robin threw Nightwing aside and rushed to help ☁️ stand up. Robin pulled the boy’s wrist forward, dragging him away from the conflict to where Nightwing sat. Robin then ran over to Red Hood as Alessio sat in a coiled stance, leaving Nightwing and ☁️ to watch in an awkward silence.
“You really shouldn’t be here. I’m sorry J-“ Nightwing paused. “Red Hood shouldn’t have brought you. I don’t think you understand how dangerous it is.” He looked over to ☁️, who sat beside him. Strands of his long black hair fell in front of his glowing, white eyes.
“I wanted to help.”
“I know, but you shouldn’t have come.”
Alessio would’ve been easy to take down if he wasn’t 6’3, athletic, and overly aggressive while high on toxins. Red Hood didn’t use his guns, but Robin pulled out a lengthy bow staff. The two tossed him around for a minute before finally knocking the boy out. Nightwing and ☁️ stood still, continuing to watch.
“Ya’know..” Nightwing coughed. ☁️ turned to look over to him. “..I barred those doors for a reason.”
“What do you mean?”
“Scarecrow had his experiments roaming around freely.. and some were even attacking the henchmen. I had to take all of them down and place them in different rooms, all by myself.” Nightwing boasted, but ☁️ didn’t immediately catch onto it.
“Is that why those guys were knocked out in the hallway?” ☁️ asked, slyly pointing to the small group of henchmen sitting tied up against the opposite side of the wall. Though the two were many feet away from them, the men seemed to know they were talking about them. Nightwing looked at ☁️ and pursed his lips, the light from above casting an odd shadow below them.
“I- … uh, Probably.”
☁️ kept his thoughts to himself, smiling as the hero looked away. He watched as Robin administered what seemed like the toxin’s cure into Alessio’s arm. He didn’t wake up nearly as quickly as Nightwing did.
——
“You okay?”
☁️ sat beside his friend against the wall, Alessio rubbing his head. Although the two sat in the darkness, ☁️ could still make out the boy’s tired look.
“I’m pissed.”
☁️ sighed. “Well..”
Alessio looked over to ☁️, furrowing his eyebrows. “I’m sorry. I gotta stop doin’ stupid shit.”
“I’m just glad you’re okay… Your dad is livid, though. Do you wanna call him?”
The boy nodded, taking his friend’s phone after ☁️ slid it out of his right pocket. Robin approached the two a few seconds later.
“☁️, can you help me?”
Nodding, he stood up and followed Robin to the other end of the hallway, where three people lied next to each other on the ground.
“Were you able to find my other friend?”
“Oh,.. Dick? Yeaa, he was upstairs and.. found a way out of a window! So don’t worry about him.”
“You saw him get out safely?”
“Yes.. he was leaving when I came in. Anyway, everyone who had been exposed to the gas has been given a cure. Since what we used is from a previous encounter with Scarecrow, it’s not going to be immediately effective. That’s why your friend took longer to process what happened.”
“Oh, okay. So they’ll be up soon?” ☁️ asked, pointing beside the hero.
“Yes. Also, we locked Scarecrow in this room until the police come. Don’t open it.”
☁️ nodded, following Robin back in the other direction. “So, how’s Nightwing?”
“He’s still pissed about.. well, everything. He has a rubber bullet stuck in his leg and he’s still a bit drowsy. Can you help him walk over to the front so that he can greet the commissioner?”
The boy muttered an “Alright.” and walked over to where Nightwing sat in the dark. ☁️’s body turned into a shadow as he knelt beside the vigilante.
“I’m supposed to help you talk to the commissioner.” ☁️ said, looking into Nightwing’s glowing eyes.
“Okay, if you could help me up..”
☁️ stood and took hold of Nightwing’s glove, holding it tight as the man used his good leg to push himself up. Wrapping his arm around ☁️’s neck, the two walked slowly through the doors that Scarecrow got dragged through. The two awkwardly passed henchmen tied to chairs, tables, shelves, and even a stack of hay- courtesy of Red Hood.
Upon pushing through the door at the other end of the room, a long, dark hallway stood between the two of them and the front door.
“I don’t think it’s safe. Let me go first.” Nightwing said, stopping.
“You’d fall over if I let you go.”
“No I wouldn’t. I can walk.” Nightwing responded, seemingly offended.
“I’m not letting you go, so we’re going through together.”
☁️ took a step forward, causing the vigilante to hop. The two walked slowly and silently down the eerie hallway. Halfway through, Nightwing didn’t sense any danger, him consequently choosing to disrupt the lonely sound of crickets chirping.
“So.. is your friend okay?”
“Which one?”
“The big one.”
“They’re both big.”
“Falcone’s son.”
“Oh, yeah. He’s fine, just a bit annoyed.”
“Who’s the other one you were talking about?”
“His name is Richard. He’s a cop and came here earlier.”
“Oh, I know a private investigator Richard.”
“Oh, how convenient.” ☁️ thought out loud, half-jokingly. Thinking to himself, Nightwing and Richard being the same person would realistically explain the similarity in their voices and the fact that the hero knew the boy’s name. Dick also had long black hair and fair skin, just as Nightwing did.
Nightwing stopped, causing ☁️ to as well. “What?” He asked in a deeper voice, shocking the boy.
“Wait, don’t change your voice-”
“Stop. I don’t have time for you to try and guess who I am- that’s confidential.” He paused. “If Richard is still here, it wouldn’t make sense for us to be the same person anyway.”
☁️ didn’t expect Nightwing’s tone to become so harsh- and it was intimidating to say the least. The hero didn’t know that Dick had already left the vicinity, but ☁️ didn’t dare argue.
“Oh, sorry.”
The two continued down the hallway, reaching the door after another minute of cricket chirps. The glass door in front of them transitioned from a dark purple to flashes of red and blue- the sound of sirens now filling the awkward silence. ☁️ took hold of the knob and opened the door, watching as police cars, ambulances, and a large black van approached the building. The henchmen’s vans were nowhere in sight. Holding onto Nightwing as the two passed through the door, ☁️ watched as a man with a beard came running from out of one of the flashing cars.
“Everything okay?” He asked, looking Nightwing up and down.
“Yeah. Scarecrow is locked in a room inside, we have a few people who are recovering from a toxin, and then we have a lot of henchmen tied up all over the place. No casualties.”
“Since when does Scarecrow have henchmen?” The cop asked.
“We’ll talk about that later.” Nightwing whispered, him then turning to ☁️. “☁️, can you lead Commissioner Gordan and the officers to Red Hood and Robin? I’m gonna get this bullet outta my leg.”
“Bats isn’t here?”
“No. Should’ve been though. It was worse than I thought it’d be.”
Commissioner Gordan nodded and motioned for his team to follow him. ☁️ grabbed the flashlight from out of his pocket and lit the dark hallway up for the officers. Leading them through the room full of henchmen and broken objects, he proceeded into the wide hallway.
“What is this? Are those horse stalls?”
“Maybe at one point they were.” ☁️ responded, catching Red Hood and Robin’s attention. The two walked over to the police as ☁️ slipped away from the officers, once again sitting next to Alessio. The boy handed ☁️’s phone back, sighing.
“How’d it go?”
“He’s real mad, but relieved.”
☁️ nodded.
“I feel like shit.” Alessio groaned, knocking his head against the wood behind him.
“There’re ambulances outside. You should probably get checked at the hospital.”
“Yeah, I’ll go.” Alessio stood up, following ☁️’s action. As the two began back toward the other room, Commissioner Gordan stopped them.
“☁️, right? Do you have the vial samples with you?”
“Oh, yeah.” ☁️ nodded, handing him the few vials that he had stuffed into his pocket.
“Thanks.”
☁️ watched as the commissioner handed the vials to another officer, who placed them softly inside of a plastic bag. Alessio tugged at his arm, the two of them then continuing past arrests being made and investigators searching the area.
Eventually, the two were outside and standing in front of an EMT. ☁️ watched as Alessio hopped onto a stretcher and was then lifted into the ambulance. To his left, ☁️ noticed Nightwing sitting on the edge of an ambulance with a bandage around his calf. He walked over to him, the hero noticing and giving the boy his full attention.
“You alright?” ☁️ asked, sitting beside him.
“Better. Does Falcone know the boy’s alright?” The vigilante responded, his voice resonant.
“Yes, Alessio spoke to him.”
“Good. I don’t need his father getting involved.”
Silence filled the air for a few seconds.
“So.. what now?” ☁️ asked, yawning.
“Well, it’s just about 2am. You should go home. I’ll stay until everyone leaves. Red Hood and Robin will probably leave after Scarecrow leaves for Arkham.”
“All of my stuff is.. somewhere other than my dorm.”
“Ah, shit… Okay, I’ll have Red Hood take you back, then. Do you mind staying another night at the manor?”
“How’d you know I was staying there?”
“Oh.. Hood told me that he picked you up from Wayne Manor. Do you like it there?”
“Yes, it’s very nice inside. The Waynes are very nice as well.”
“I’ve met them a few times. Which is your favorite?”
“I’ve only met Richard and Jason.”
“You know he goes by Dick, right?”
“Oh, yeah. Dick. I like him a lot.”
“Is that so?”
“Yeah, he’s cute. But what’s it to you?” ☁️ asked, smiling.
“Just a little jealous. I’ll have to let him know you said that when I see him next.”
“Please do.”
———
“Can I have the square and communicator back?” Red Hood held his hand out as soon as ☁️ hopped off of the bike.
“Oh yeah, I didn’t use it.” ☁️ stated, grabbing it from out of his pocket and placing it into the man’s gloves. He forgot that he was still wearing the earpiece, quickly placing it into the palm of his hand as well.
“That’s alright. Thanks for your help tonight.” Red Hood said, kicking his stand up.
“I don’t think I did much, but I should thank you, too. Be safe.”
“You too.” Red Hood said before lifting his legs and speeding off, leaving ☁️ to stand alone. ☁️ turned around to look at the manor’s long gate doors, wondering how he could possibly get back inside. Just then, the gates opened, somewhere scaring ☁️. He ran past the tall bushes and across the driveway to the manor‘s stairs. Upon walking up the steps, the mansion’s front doors opened. A tall man in a black and white suit stood in the doorframe, watching as ☁️ timidly approached him.
“☁️, correct?”
“Yes, hello.” He responded stopping as he got to the top of the stairs. He stood a few feet away from the man, who he oddly seemed to recognize.
“I don’t believe we’ve met. Please, come in.” The man said, holding the door open for ☁️.
As soon as the door closed behind him, ☁️ turned around, partially waiting for an introduction despite realizing who he was.
“My name is Bruce Wayne.” Bruce held his hand out to ☁️, who tried his best not to be awkward whilst shaking it. “So, you’ll be staying another few days at the manor?”
“I was hoping to go back to my dorm tomorrow.”
“Oh, I’m sorry. I just got a call from the police commissioner- he thinks it would be a good idea for you to stay another two weeks. Or at least until this case comes to an end.”
☁️ nodded his head in understanding.
“Don’t worry. We’ll do our best to make the manor as comfortable as possible.”
“Thank you Mr. Wayne. It’s a pleasure.”
Bruce nodded.
“If there’s anything you need, just come to Alfred, one of the boys, or myself.”
“Speaking of, could you tell me if Dick ever made it home?”
Bruce stared expressionlessly at ☁️ for a few seconds before answering.
“Yes, he came home a while ago, but recently left again to help investigate.” He paused. “Also, I don’t think it’s safe for you to get involved in dangerous cases as you did tonight. You’re here for protection- and while I, of course, cannot control you or your actions, I hope you take my words seriously.”
“I definitely do. I apologize for-“
“No need. Your courage is admirable but your safety is our priority.” Bruce said calmly, taking a few steps forward and turning his head. “Have a goodnight.”
“You as well.”
——
As ☁️ climbed into bed, he felt a vibration erupt from his pajama pant’s pocket. Pulling out his phone, he glanced over a response from Dick.
‘ Sorry, things didn’t go as I expected.
But I got to talk to that vigilante.
Nightwing or smth like that.
He told me what u said lol. I’ll see you tomorrow. Sleep well :) ‘
☁️ rolled his eyes and placed his phone on the nightstand, him then digging into the covers beneath him. After closing his eyes, it didn’t take long for him to fall asleep.

BONUS:
Scarecrow stood opposite to ☁️ across a cemetery, the night sky hidden behind a stormy overcast. A feeling of dread and despair washed over the boy, forming a mold over his legs that prevented them from moving. He watched in horror as Scarecrow grew larger and larger from across the yard, eventually surpassing the height of surrounding trees.
As the villain took a step toward ☁️, the ground shook, breaking the immobility of the boy’s body. He shuffled out of the cemetery gates, where the shadow of Scarecrow overcame his own. He turned around to see the villain experiencing a state of immobility instead, Nightwing now perched on the metal gate’s archway. Lightning cracked behind Scarecrow as Nightwing and ☁️ seemingly made eye contact, with his face covered in shadow but his eye still glowing white. A figure appeared under him- he was tall and muscular, but he too was covered in shadow. ☁️ could sense Grayson’s presence, but couldn’t see his face. He approached the man despite the three of them watching him.
As he stood a foot away from Dick, he still couldn’t see his face. Lightning struck the ground behind ☁️, not illuminating what should’ve been Dick’s eyes, but rather a Nightwing mask. He held out a hand to touch the man, but retracted it upon realizing that Scarecrow had disappeared from behind him. He turned around to see the villain’s foot about to come crashing down on him, but was more in shock when he felt Dick dig his nails deep into his arms from behind.
-
☁️ awoke from his slumber, practically jumping out of the little spoon position that Grayson held him in. The boy began breathing heavily, calming down as he felt the man behind him wrap an arm around his waist and pull him close.
“Bad dream?” Dick whispered, nuzzling the boy’s neck.
“I think so.” ☁️ hazily responded, running a few fingers over his red arms.
“What about?”
“Scarecrow and you. And Nightwing.”
“You can’t have both me and Nightwing. Can’t tell him you’re dreaming about him or he might get the wrong idea.”
“Well, in the dream you ended up digging your nails into my skin. That scared me more than Scarecrow or Nightwing did.”
“Aw, I’m sorry. I would never hurt you.”
“I know. I didn’t mean to wake you up, though. You can go back to sleep.”
“I just got home 20 minutes ago, actually. I didn’t sleep yet.”
“What time is it??”
“Quarter to 4.”
☁️ rubbed Dicks hand, slowly falling back asleep.
“Get some rest.. goodnight.”
“Goodnight, cutie.” Dick whispered, closing his eyes as well.

Down the stone path lined with cherry blossom trees, pink petals fluttered sporadically in the crisp spring breeze. The walk to class was always silent, though ☁️ would catch the new student walking in the distance. It was a peculiar change to the old, tedious morning routine that he was used to- partially due to the mystery that was Sunghoon.
Sunghoon was never one to look disheveled or disoriented. His skin was always glowing- so much that it often reflected light, his lengthy figure was adored by many, and his mannerisms were always gracious. To put it simply, the boy was elegant. ☁️ had heard of the many rumors surrounding his family, appearance, and connections, but never paid them mind.
It’s been a month since ☁️’s final year of school had begun, and it’s been two weeks since ☁️ had noticed Sunghoon’s presence on the cherry blossom path. Though the walks continued to be in silence, peculiarity struck the daily routine once again.
Trudging around puddles and small piles of flowers petals on a cloudy Thursday morning, ☁️’s focus remained on the stone path below. Imagine ☁️’s surprise upon almost bumping into Sunghoon, who raised an eyebrow at the action. ☁️ stumbled back and immediately matched Sunghoon’s gaze, rather embarrassed.
“Ah, I’m sorry.” ☁️ stammered, walking around Sunghoon.
“I was waiting for you.”
Sunghoon placed his hands in his pocket as ☁️ turned around.
“Oh.. why’s that?”
“We walk down this path at the same time everyday. Wouldn’t it be nice to travel together?” Sunghoon questioned monotonously.
Aside from the confusion, there was an underlying anticipation ☁️ felt when speaking to Sunghoon. It was also ☁️’s first time hearing his voice- his tone soft yet assertive.
“Yeah.. I guess it would.”
Sunghoon burst out laughing and shook his head.
“Did you really think that I’d want to walk beside you? And everyday at that?” Sunghoon took his hands out of his pocket and crossed his arms, an amused look across his face. “What humor you have.”
☁️ grimaced at the comment, looking around.
“You said you were waiting for me, though..” ☁️ muttered, anticipation transforming into anger.
“I did.” Sunghoon responded, his gaze not leaving ☁️’s. With furrowed eyebrows and rolling eyes, ☁️ took a step away from the man, about to walk away.
“I don’t want to be late, let’s go.” Sunghoon said, grabbing ☁️’s arm and continuing down the stone path. The two now walking side by side, ☁️ shook Sunghoon’s grip away as the awkward interaction began causing headache.
The rest of the walk was silent, and Sunghoon’s gesture of waiting for ☁️ became a daily occurrence. Upon arriving to the school each day, the two would give the other a look of “goodbye” to then go their separate ways.
“Is this seat taken?”
☁️ looked up to see Sunghoon standing across the cafeteria table, holding a food tray. It had been a week since the two of them began walking together.
“No.”
“Good. I was going to sit here regardless.”
An eyebrow raised, ☁️ watched as Sunghoon sat and began nipping at a salad.
“So I was wondering..” The boy began.
☁️ looked up again.
“How close are you to Hoshino?”
“Nobody’s close to Hoshino.” ☁️ responded, watching as Sunghoon continued between bites.
“What do you mean?”
“Unless you’re in his posse, I’d doubt that you’d ever get the opportunity to be ‘close’ to him. I heard that even his members don’t speak that often to him.”
“Do you think it’s by choice?”
“I don’t know. What’s it to you?” ☁️ tilted his head as Sunghoon pushed his tray aside.
“I don’t like him, he’s the root of this place’s problems.”
“Yeah, well, nobody else likes him- so you’re not alone.”
The two sat in silence as ☁️ looked around the busy cafeteria, catching the glare of Rika, a girl in their grade. Of all the times ☁️ recalled seeing her around, Rika always had two bows on each side of her long black hair, it becoming a staple in her appearance. Though, today, it seemed only one bow hung from the left side of her two pigtails.
“Is Rika staring again?” Sunghoon asked, glancing over to ☁️. “I can feel it.”
“She is.”
“Did you know that she’s quite psychotic? An absolute whacko.”
“What do you mean?”
“She’s horribly obsessive- I catch her stalking me on occasion. I heard that it’s because she likes me, but who doesn’t?” Sunghoon smiled, amused by his own comment. “She’s an odd girl.”
“Yeah.. you should probably tell someone about that..” ☁️ suggested, looking over and catching her gaze once again.
“It’s alright. I usually lose her on the way home.”
Sighing, ☁️ sat with pursed lips in silence. The two were quiet until the end of the lunch period, them later walking side by side through the school hallways.
“Hey, ☁️!”
☁️ turned around to see Hoshino and three other boys approach the two of them. Initially startled, ☁️ maintained composure.
“You didn’t introduce me to your new friend.” Hoshino laughed, him now standing only inches in front of ☁️. He leaned onto a locker with his arms crossed, eyeing up ☁️ and then Sunghoon.
“His name is Sunghoon.”
“Ah, Sunghoon. The pleasure’s all mine.” Hoshino exclaimed sarcastically, holding a hand out to the boy.
“The pleasure would be mine if I didn’t think you were a bastard.” Sunghoon sneered, followed by light laughter. ☁️ stood frozen in fear as Hoshino’s shocked expression turned into one of anger. Pulling a knife from his back pocket, he pushed Sunghoon against the wall, holding it at his throat.
“Hoshino, he’s new to the school. He doesn’t know better.” ☁️ pleaded, taking steps toward the boy. Two of Hoshino’s members grabbed at ☁️’s shoulders, stopping ‘em from moving any closer.
“I don’t give warnings. Consider it your first and last.” Hoshino said, pushing Sunghoon into the wall again and backing away. He then turned to ☁️, who was still held back by the other boys. “Keep your friend in line, or you’re next.” Hoshino whispered, tapping the blade against ☁️’s lips. “K?”
Feeling their grip loosen, ☁️ watched as Hoshino turned and began down the hallway beside his posse. As soon as the group was out of sight, ☁️ turned to Sunghoon.
“I’m gonna kill you.”
“Do you think I’m scared of a little blade?” Sunghoon muttered, wiping blood off of ☁️’s lips with his thumb. He then put his thumb into his mouth, making ☁️ wince. Luckily, there were only a few people lingering in the hallways, none of them seeming to notice. Sunghoon laughed and began walking away. “I’ll see you later!”
☁️ sighed. About to walk to class, another hand gripped ☁️’s shoulder.
“Hey, ☁️.”
☁️ turned to see that strange girl, Rika.
“You’re not dating Sunghoon, right?”
“Uhm.. no, I’m not.” ☁️ responded, raising an eyebrow.
“Okay, I just didn’t want anything bad happening to you. You know.” Rika smiled and patted ☁️’s shoulder, her silver braces shining as she did so.
“I don’t know what you mean, actually.”
“As long as you’re not taking him away, there’s no need for you to worry about it.” Rika whispered, followed by a boisterous laugh. “No need for you to worry. Bye-bye.”
☁️ watched as Rika hurried down the hallway, throwing her pink satchel back over her shoulder.
“How odd this school is.” ☁️ huffed.
“I really don’t think he would do such a thing.”
Another week had passed since ☁️ and Sunghoon had officially become.. acquainted. As of recently, they’d had eaten lunch, walked around, and traveled to and from school together, daily. It had also been a week since their first run-in with Hoshino, whose glares in the hallways meant he didn’t forget, either. ☁️ felt this time drag- almost as if Sunghoon had bestowed a curse upon ‘em the day they first met. The boy simply seemed to attract both unwanted attention and problems.
Just the day prior, Sunghoon supposedly got one of Hoshino’s posse members kicked out of the school, somehow. Despite not being involved in the situation, ☁️ had been on the receiving end of stares and gossip ever since. The story told didn’t make much sense, and ☁️ didn’t want to ask Sunghoon about it just yet.
“Why not? Everyone knows about the rising tensions between him and Hoshino. It would make sense for him to snitch.” One of the girls in ☁️’s class whispered back as they awaited the arrival of their teacher. “I heard he manipulated a few teachers into searching the boy’s belongings. Apparently, they found knives and even gun.”
☁️ looked around the room, and then back at the girl as she continued.
“I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard that Hoshino has been planning on getting him back. I’m sure you could guess what’ll happen.”
The girl leaned back into her seat, raising her eyebrows.
“Is there anything else you can give me?” ☁️ whispered, despite knowing that this information was all that she’d provide for today.
“Even if I wanted to give you more, I can’t. That’s really all I got.”
“How much do I owe you?”
“Just $5. I’ll give you a discount so that I don’t end up on Sunghoon’s naughty list. People are saying that he’ll become the next Hoshino.. I’m not sure why you spend so much time with him in honestly.”
Grabbing a few dollars bills, ☁️ quickly slid the money to the girl from a back-pocket.
“A pleasure doing business with ‘ya.”
—
“It’s unnecessary to worry about what other people say, ☁️.” Sunghoon muttered, rolling his eyes. The two sat across from each other at lunch, as they usually do.
“But accusations can have consequences. Especially since it’s involving Hoshino.”
Sunghoon put his fork down and looked up to ☁️ with a blank expression. The boy then glanced around, quickly.
“Would you like to skip next period with me? I have an errand that I have to run.”
“Not really. I’m assuming, since you asked, that you’ll need help. Right?”
“Perceptive. I’m thoroughly impressed.”
☁️ frowned. “What is it?”
“I just need to pay a teacher a visit. Just keep lookout for me.”
“Tell me what you’ll be doing, Hoonie.”
“I told you that I hate that nickname.”
☁️ shrugged, as if saying “I don’t care.” Sunghoon continued.
“It’s just to talk about Hoshino. It’ll be quick.”
“Hm.. fine. Please be quick, though.”
“Aw, that’s truly so sweet of you. Thanks for always being there for me, ☁️.”
☁️ rolled his eyes, ignoring Sunghoon’s superficial praise. Standing up suddenly, the boy motioned ☁️ to follow him.
“Let’s just leave lunch early.”
—
☁️ stood beside Sunghoon upon arriving to a classroom on the highest floor. After the boy knocked on the door, a younger-looking teacher slid it open slightly, him holding a few textbooks.
“Hey, can I help you two?”
“Yes, we’ve spoken a few days ago. Do you have a moment?”
“I’m sorry, I don’t remember speaking to you, and I’m a bit busy with grading. Could you two come b-“
“No, I’m sorry. You actually do have a moment.” Sunghoon pushed the door open, making the man stumble back and drop his books.
“The hell are you doing?” ☁️ muttered, grabbing Sunghoon’s arm. Sunghoon approached the teacher, shoving ☁️’s hand off of him as he walked towards the man. Picking his books up while squatting on the floor, the teacher looked up to Sunghoon, who towered over him. ☁️ was taken aback as he watched Sunghoon bent down as well. He placed a hand on the man’s shoulder, whispering to him.
“Be the lookout, ☁️.” Sunghoon instructed, not taking his eyes off of the teacher. In disbelief, ☁️ took a step back and walked out of the door, closing it so that it was barely open ajar.
Sunghoon walked back out a few minutes later, a cellphone and tan folder in hand. The boy tossed an object on the floor as ☁️ took a peak behind him, seeing the teacher slouched over a desk. Noticing ☁️’s gaze, Sunghoon closed the door lightly.
“He’s fine, just resting for another minute. We should go before he wakes up.”
“You didn’t hurt him, right?”
“Of course not. I needed his help.”
☁️ looked around, seeing that the hallway was empty as the two begun down it.
“So, why didn’t he remember you?”
“I manipulated him into helping me before. That’s probably why he didn’t recall our previous meetings.”
“What do you mean manipulate?”
“Why’re you grilling me?”
“Because I don’t understand what’s going on. This is too much, Sunghoon.”
“You’ll know when it happens, just like everyone else.”
The two descended down the staircase in silence, ☁️ still not satisfied with the lack of information.
“We’re only a few minutes late to archery class. See? I told you that it wouldn’t be long.”
☁️ nodded.
“Anyway, I suspect Rika to be around here somewhere, don’t say anything else about it.” Sunghoon whispered, leaning into ☁️’s ear.
“Sunghoon!” Rika called out from behind them, as if on que. She hurried over to them from down the hallway, holding a plastic bag in hand. Still missing a bow, Rika looked ☁️ up and down with a dismissive look. “You had something for me?”
Sunghoon took the bag she held and placed the tan file and phone inside of it.
“That’s all. You’ll have it back tomorrow.”
Rika nodded and smiled, continuing down the hallway as if the conversation had never happened.
“What was the point of getting that file if you were just going to give it to her?” ☁️ asked, watching Rika disappear in the distance. The two continued, walking slowly as they conversed.
“I already read it. And I don’t want that teacher suspecting me of taking it.”
“Why wouldn’t he remember you being in there?”
“I manipulated him, remember?”
☁️ face palmed. “You don’t have powers, Hoonie. You’re gonna get us in a lot of trouble.”
“Yes I do. I’m special, remember?”
“I really hope narcissism isn’t clouding your judgment.” ☁️ sighed.
Sunghoon stopped walking, seemingly offended. “Nothing could cloud my judgment.”
“That’s something a narcissist would say.”
—
Sunghoon stepped in front of ☁️, opening the gymnasium doors and gesturing forward.
“Thank you.” ☁️ muttered, catching the teacher’s glare as they stepped inside. The teacher was older- probably in his 50’s. ☁️ watched as the man hurried to the two of them with compound bows under his arms.
“Since you two decided to show up, help me gather the rest of the materials.” The man said, motioning the two to follow him into the equipment room. “You, grab the box of arrows since it’s heavy.” He said, pointing at Sunghoon. He then pointed to ☁️ before gesturing toward additional compound bows. “You can put the last two bows on the rack out there, follow me back please.”
The three walked back to the group of students who waited in the middle of the gymnasium floor.
“Alright everyone! Split into two groups of eight.” The teacher instructed.
“Make sure we aren’t in Hoshino’s group.” Sunghoon muttered, pulling ☁️ away from the crowd of students. After a minute, the class was divided.
“This group has nine, one of you go over there.” The teacher said, looking at ☁️. A student awkwardly shuffled over to the other group. “Okay, good. This side is shooting first, and then that side. Grab a bow and an arrow and line up.”
“We’re shooting first.” ☁️ looked over to Sunghoon, who stared intently at the windows on the other side of the room. Patting Sunghoon’s arm, ☁️ knocked the boy out of his daze. “What’s wrong?”
“I thought I saw something outside.” Sunghoon replied, shaking his head. The two followed the group of students over to the rack of bows, grabbing one alongside an arrow. The teacher called out commands, and the students raised their bows. The target in front of them was tall and wide, with three circles of red white and blue. Sitting on the other side of the room with their backs against the window, the other students watched.
“Shoot!”
☁️ released the arrow, though someone else’s collided coincidently with it, causing ☁️’s to fall to the ground. Laughing it off, ☁️ turned to Sunghoon.
“How did you do?”
“I got a bullseye.”
☁️ looked over to the target, seeing a singular arrow in the blue center.
“That’s impressive.” ☁️ muttered, turning to Sunghoon once again. The boy was looking over his shoulder- his gaze fixated on the group of students against the window. “What do you keep looking at?”
“You didn’t see that guy standing outside?”
☁️ looked over, not seeing anybody over the standing students’ heads. “No.”
Sunghoon ran a hand through his hair as the students placed their bows on the ground and took a step away. Sunghoon and ☁️ followed their movements, awaiting the teacher’s directions.
“Okay, second group, it’s your turn.”
About to walk toward the wall alongside the others, Sunghoon gripped at ☁️’s shoulder.
“I’m not going over there until I see that boy again.”
“What if you’re just seeing things?”
“I’m not, I know I saw him.”
“Even if there was a boy, so what? You’d see him better if we go over there.”
“You don’t understand.”
☁️ shrugged, walking away from the bows so that other students could use them. Sunghoon followed, standing diagonally to the second group. Only a few feet to the right of the target, ☁️ caught Hoshino’s gaze and immediately looked away.
The teacher began shouting commands as Sunghoon’s gaze didn’t come off of the window in the distance. The teacher stood behind the engrossed students as he called out, despite not seeing the actual target.
“There he is.” Sunghoon muttered, jogging a few steps forward and walking towards the window. ☁️ looked over to see a tall boy in a black school suit towering behind the students standing against the wall. His mahogany hair blew in the wind as his steady gaze didn’t leave Sunghoon’s. It was an eerie scene, one that filled ☁️ with fear as the stranger peeked into the room.
“Shoot!”
☁️ flinched as droplets of red sprinkled across the face and neck possessed. Pinned against the target, Sunghoon twitched as red trickled down his body. Perceiving the horror a few feet in the distance, ☁️ cupped a hand over the mouth that gasped. The students holding bows cried out or turned around to avoid the scene. Those sitting against the window all stood up, some covering their eyes and some rushing over to get a better look. The man on the other side of the window was no longer present.
“What the hell..” The teacher choked, stepping through the line of students to see Sunghoon impaled by their arrows. With a throat becoming drier by the second, ☁️ walked over to the line of students. Arrows had gone through Sunghoon’s eye, neck, shoulder, stomach, leg, and both sides of his arms. Someone behind ☁️ threw up.
“What the hell did you do..” The teacher croaked again, looking at the students beside ☁️.
“You said to shoot!” One girl cried out.
“He just ran in front of the board. It wasn’t our fault.” Another boy muttered.
☁️ turned to see Hoshino approach Sunghoon’s body- it no longer twitching.
“We’ll just get rid of the body. Guys, help me get him off of this.”
“The hell are you talking about?” One of his mob members shouted, his voice shaky.
“Unless you all wanna go to jail, I suggest you help get rid of the body.” Hoshino shouted back, him then slowly removing each arrow from Sunghoon’s body. A few boys walked beside him, helping the boy set Sunghoon’s lifeless figure onto the floor.
“Someone get the tarp cover from the equipment room.” Hoshino ordered after turning his head, glaring at the crowd that now stood behind him. A girl beside ☁️ nodded and sprinted over to the room.
“Nobody go anywhere! We are not getting rid of anything!” The teacher roared, pushing a few of the boys surrounding Hoshino away from Sunghoon’s body. Hoshino quickly stood up, pulling a switchblade from his back pocket and holding it at the teacher’s neck.
“Either you help us or you suffer the same fate.” Hoshino looked around. “That goes for everyone!”
The girl ran back with a black tarp, unraveling it so that Hoshino’s members could drag Sunghoon onto it.
“What the fuck is happening.” ☁️ whispered to himself, watching as other students began helping to wrap the body.
“This is so fucked up.” A boy beside ☁️ whispered in response.
“There’s a door leading outside in the equipment room, right?” Hoshino asked the teacher, his switchblade still pointed at him. The teacher simply nodded his head.
“Alright, everyone outside! Now!” Hoshino yelled, jogging over to his members. He whispered to them before turning to the crowd of students. Pointing to the tarp, he called out again. “I need a few people to carry this into the mountain.”
Students stepped up and kneeled beside the tarp cover. Lifting it, they began into the equipment room, guided by two of Hoshino’s members. Hoshino stood behind, watching as everyone filed into the room and out the door. ☁️ was the one of the last students to leave, exhaling upon observing the small puddle of blood that dripped down the target and onto the floor.
“Go.” Hoshino said, waving the switchblade at ☁️ as he and the teacher walked passed. ☁️ followed them into the room and out of the metal door, one of Hoshino’s members then closing the door behind them. ☁️ watched as the group walked into the forested area a few feet in the distance, barely trailing behind. Hoshino noticed, him turning around and walking towards ☁️.
“I guess I need to chaperone you.” Hoshino muttered upon gripping ☁️’s arm, the two of them then rushing up the hill and through the forest. They eventually caught up to the group, a fire having been started. Hoshino let go of ☁️ after he stood beside his members.
“We’re going to give everyone a part to hide. If your part gets found, you’re dead. After you hide it, and hide it well, you can go home. Wash your hands and clothes immediately. The teacher and my group will clean the gymnasium- if you’d like to help you can. Everyone understand?” Hoshino shouted, watching as most of the class nodded their heads. He then began unwrapping the body with the help of a few other students. ☁️ had to turn around upon seeing Hoshino’s men begin digging their knives into the boy’s already decomposing body.
A few minutes had passed since the boys had begun severing, and ☁️ remained opposite to them. People began walking away with small parts of Sunghoon in their hands. One with a few fingers and another with his two ears. It made ☁️ want to gag at the sight, but the shock taking over ☁️’s body prevented anything further from happening.
“Hey, ☁️.”
☁️ turned around to see Hoshino standing in the way of what remained of Sunghoon’s body. Avoiding eye contact, ☁️ noticed the organs in the boy’s hands.
“Since you were closest with him, I’m giving you his heart and brain.”
Looking to the right, ☁️ felt Hoshino drop the organs into open hands.
“If it makes you feel better, I was going to do it eventually. Maybe I could make it up to you sometime.” Hoshino sighed, seemingly displeased with the lack of acknowledgment he was receiving. ☁️’s eye twitched in response to his words.
“You could never.”
☁️ turned back around, continuing aimlessly into the forest. Attempting to go back the way the group came to avoid getting lost, ☁️ trudged down the hill they walked up- finding a dirt path. ☁️ walked down it, finding a gorgeous stone bridge. A stream flowed heavily below the structure, though, ☁️ didn’t have the heart to throw the items into it. Instead, ☁️ walked across the bridge and sat in the grass- a foot away from where the water rushed through. It was then that ☁️ noticed the flat surface under the bridge’s abutment, untouched by the roaring water. Walking over to it, the space was only a little shorter than ☁️. With a deep breath, ☁️ kneeled down and climbed onto the stone surface, placing the brain and heart beside each other.
Hoshino’s words replayed in ☁️’s head. Walking back onto the bridge, ☁️ took a few steps forward and rested heavy arms on the cool stone structure. If even Hoshino noticed Sunghoon and ‘em spending a lot of time together, then ☁️ assumed that everyone had noticed, as well. Though, in reality, ☁️ and Sunghoon never really got close. He would only accompany ☁️ at lunch and on the walk home, and even then, their conversations were never in-depth. Still, ☁️ was fearful of what was to come. If someone were to find out, then what would happen? Sunghoon’s family will be looking for him, right? How is Hoshino going to keep everyone quiet? And why would Sunghoon act so carelessly upon seeing that boy? What made him so important?
Lost in the roaring of the waters, ☁️ didn’t notice a boy walk behind ‘em. The boy stopped a few feet away, leaning onto the guardrail and looking out into the distance. Upon glancing over, ☁️ recognized the boy’s mahogany hair. Both shocked and a bit scared, ☁️ took a step back.
“You know,..” The boy began. “..you really shouldn’t worry. He’ll be back.”
The boy turned to ☁️, pushing off of the bridge’s stone guardrail and walking over to ‘em. He held out his lengthy hand, which ☁️ took hesitantly and shook lightly. “My name is Heeseung.”
“☁️…. And what do you mean?”
“Sunghoon. You’ll know when he’s back, and when he is, you better spend that time with him wisely.”
“I don’t understand.”
“You’re not going to. And that’s okay.”
The two sat in silence before Heeseung continued.
“Your school’s going to be a shit show for a while. Try not to die, otherwise there’d be nobody to welcome Sunghoon back.”
“Who are you?” ☁️ growled, taking another step back.
“Who was Sunghoon?” Heeseung replied, his voice just as monotonous as Sunghoon’s was.
☁️ remained silent, unsure of how to respond. Thinking about it.. they were something like friends, and ☁️ considered Sunghoon to be.. many things. ☁️’s crush amongst those many things.
“I’ll be around when you find out. Good luck.”
Heeseung strolled backwards as he and ☁️ kept gazes on each-other, him eventually turning around and continuing across the bridge. ☁️ watched his figure become smaller as he walked up the hill, fading behind the trees.
It seemed that people had become lost in their flawed tendencies since the new student’s arrival; His enigmatic spirit and flawless features made him impossible to miss- enchanting students and teachers alike. Uncanny in many ways, the boy’s name was Sunghoon, and even in his death, his curse remained potent.
