He showered you with compliments that weren’t subtle in the slightest, tossing out questions like, “How is your hair this perfect all the time?” And all you could do was smile, knowing the truth—the pain of all those expensive hair products breaking your back.

He loved lying on your lap, letting your curls brush against his face. It tickled, but he adored it so much that he’d gotten used to sleeping like that, and honestly couldn’t imagine resting any other way. To him, your hair wasn’t just pretty—it was something worth capturing, worth turning into art. That didn’t stop him from trying to braid your hair, though. He failed miserably each time, whining, “My hands hurt,” only for you to laugh and remind him, “Hyeon, you’re not even done with one braid.” He’d pout, then insist you looked prettier with your hair open—but still asked you to teach him whenever he had a free moment, because he wanted to do something for you, for once. And sometimes, his compliments went overboard. But the way he said them, so earnest and bright—like, “You look like you came straight out of a movie scene” made it hard not to believe him.

AHN KEONHO

Keonho is someone who pretends he doesn’t care about your hair, but god—have you seen the way he stares at you at the most random times? Haven’t you heard the way he slips in compliments, admitting how much he secretly loves the way your curls frame your face? On days you straighten them, he feels almost unsettled, like the curls are just so ingrained in you that anything else feels wrong.

When you ignore him, he’ll tug lightly on a curl just to get your attention—even if it’s basically a death wish, considering how expensive your hair care routine is (more than Keonho himself, joking… or maybe not). And whenever you get annoyed about frizz, he’ll pop up with that same nonchalant tone, muttering, “You look good tho.” His way of saying you’re pretty, even when you don’t think so.

He absolutely loves your hair when it’s messy after running in the rain or wind. Tries to act cool, of course, but then calls it “wild but hot hair,” leaving you raising a brow at whatever questionable thoughts are running through his mind. Definitely the type to kiss you mid-brush, acting casual like it’s nothing, just because you looked too attractive to actually be his girlfriend and he needed to ground himself. But the way his ears turned red after? That told you a very different story.
