okay so this is a really really interesting thing that i plan to have some pretty significant posts about, and i have so much to share on the topic that if it gets really popular i might make a community just to discuss it;
we’re all aware that, like, the three big theories surrounding the Red Velvet/Seulrene lore are like:
they’re Radiostatic in an Amazing Digital Circus au (most popular) a.k.a. the Irene theory
they’re Toy Story but fucked up (basically disproved at this point) a.k.a. the ReVe theory
they’re Aziracrow but with an accidental murder (i feel like i’m the only one talking about this one) a.k.a. the Earthly Delights theory
anyway i plan to elaborate but, like, all my internet presence has been building up to this (me making a giant digital corkboard like a conspiracy theorist but with Red Velvet and other gay fandoms) because i have A LOT to say about this
also, i don’t really see a lot of mentions of Red Velvet in the gay fandom community, is that because it’s seen as more an interest in the celebrities, the band themselves (who i adore of course) but really the lore deserves a whole horde of fans and theorists that can interact likewise with the people who are obsessed with Conformitygate, tmtyds, brain-scan theory, etc. because i feel like they’d all mesh :)
and yes, i am very much referring to the characters and not the actual celebrities when i say “Seulrene,” i mean Seulgi and Irene as the characters in the Kwangya universe, not Kang Seulgi and Bae Joohyun the actual singers (i’m afraid most of the lore is centric around them, sorry other stans there will be some discussion on the other three’s involvement but mostly it’s Seulrene)
