She didn’t understand back then, but not everyone wants to be set free. —Alice Feeney/Rock Paper Scissors
“IDK who needs to hear this, but the opinion of anyone who is not Jesus should not be exhausting you.”
I cry during worship.
And for a long time, I’d catch myself trying to hold it in…telling myself, “get it together.”
“you’re doing too much.”
“why are you like this?”
Like feeling God that deeply was something to be embarrassed of.
But now?
I’m not trying to stop it anymore.
Because I never want to become the version of me that can stand in His presence and feel nothing.
I never want to get so used to Him that I forget the weight of His love.
The kind of love that meets you in your mess…in your past…in the parts of you nobody else understands.
So if my voice shakes, if my hands lift, if tears fall down my face in the middle of a song, that’s not weakness.
That’s a heart that remembers what He pulled me out of.
That’s a soul that knows I didn’t save myself.
God wrecks me. Over and over again.
And honestly? I pray He never stops.

My opinion: To say I don’t care what others think would be a lie. I care, because I want you to know how good God truly is! I want you to know His peace, to have His joy that really does surpass human understanding. Especially when you’re going through hard times, to have His joy will get you through anything. So if you want to judge, because I lift my hands in surrender, in praise and worship, then I forgive you and pray that you truly surrender your complete self, open heartedly, to God and watch what He does in you.
Also, read your Bible in context, so you can make sure your Pastor/Priest is preaching the Word of God correctly.
How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! How blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity,...

An Adulteress Forgiven
“At dawn He went to the temple complex again, and all the people were coming to Him. He sat down and began to teach them. Then the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, making her stand in the center. “Teacher,” they said to Him, “this woman was caught in the act of committing adultery. In the law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do You say? ” They asked this to trap Him, in order that they might have evidence to accuse Him. Jesus stooped down and started writing on the ground with His finger. When they persisted in questioning Him, He stood up and said to them, “The one without sin among you should be the first to throw a stone at her.” Then He stooped down again and continued writing on the ground. When they heard this, they left one by one, starting with the older men. Only He was left, with the woman in the center. When Jesus stood up, He said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you? ” “No one, Lord,” she answered. “Neither do I condemn you,” said Jesus. “Go, and from now on do not sin anymore.”
The world will cheer you on in your sin, but crucify your repentance.
Follow Jesus anyways.
