You wanted to know more. That's all you had felt for moons upon moons. You'd spent time lurking near the edges of the forest, pressing your paws to the frozen over river, brushing against the heather of the moors, and carrying the crisp scent of pine and sap from the marshes on your fur. The clans were a concept you couldn't quite shake from your mind—what was it really like for them? After all, you'd always been a bit of an... outsider; you'd wandered all the territories and explored them to their fullest but today was different. Today you find yourself standing in a meadow surrounded by more cats than you've ever seen before in your life. They're all laughing and socializing, and you watch young cats chase each other around the outskirts while the elder ones lazily boast about how 'In their day...' Is this what clan life is like? It's so lively.

You're awestruck for a heartbeat, and it seems at least one cat—a silver cat with swirls of black and brown fur—has noticed and waves you over. In no time at all, you're sitting in a pile of crackling leaves with a half circle of cats beside you—all of whom are listening intently to the cat who had called you over; you can't help but turn your attention to xem as well. "Half of my lifetime ago, the stars fell. The night leading up to it had been one just like this—each clan leader was away at a Gathering while some cats remained at home, tucked away within their camps; it was entirely normal... until it wasn't. Stars streaked down from the sky and vanished from our view, and none of us knew what to do. The Gathering dispersed and cats rushed home, but even home wasn't safe. The cats who had stayed within camp had seen the same sight, and no one knew how to interpret it at first. Cats fell sick not long after that. We thought it was whitecough, at first. It had all the symptoms of it, and we were sure it was just a typical outbreak that happens every few seasons. We were wrong."

The cat pauses, and you notice that xe look actually shaken by their own tale. Isn't this just an exaggerated story...? "Some cats couldn't be treated as they were meant to, and the illness progressed faster than it should have. Even cats who seemed to be healed just became even sicker not long after, and soon we had separate camps for the ill to try and stop the spread of the disease, which we named redcough. Healers stopped attending moonstone meetings—they weren't able to when so much of their clan was ill—but StarClan still visited them within their dreams. That was when a plan was formed by the councils of each clan. They came up with the idea to send out patrols of cats beyond the borders in search of a cure, and it was to be a collaborative effort with at least one cat from each clan on every patrol. One patrol was sent past the marsh, one past the river, one past the moors, and one past the forest. It was a difficult journey, and dangerous too. Each patrol encountered a new threat—twolegs, a vicious pike, a raging forest fire, and a group of rogues with ulterior motives; we all won our fights and succeeded in our trials, of course, but some days felt hopeless. We were traveling for moons, and we had all left behind cats important to us...

Secrets Of The Clans will be open for new ShadowClan & RiverClan members starting August 1st and ending August 15th!

We are a discord-based, 15+ TTRPG inspired roleplay! This meaning, we incorperate dice-rolls for random chance and eight sets of skills with the ability to level up when gaining EXP. We have been on-going since 2020 and have over 100 active members!

Shimmerstar

127 Moons - She/Her The jaded leader of ThunderClan, who assumed her role after a period of peace, was brutally affected by the death of the late Fangstar. Shimmerstar intends to restore and uphold the dignity of ThunderClan at all costs. She is a leader draped in vivid colors and scars, and in that she reflects her Clan. A living, breathing symbol of their resilience and complexity. Despite her outward adornments, no amount of decoration hides the chill in her gaze, directed at those outside her Clan. However, those within ThunderClan camp recognize her as a compassionate, motherly figure to many; her love is expansive towards her Clanmates, especially her family. She is the blooming flower in the center of ThunderClan, but it is best not to forget that she has thorns.

Foxleap

95 Moons - She/Her Foxleap is a living paradox: a regal, razor-precise deputy who commands a clearing with ease, and a deeply human cat who second-guesses herself the moment the crowd looks away. She walks a careful line between hypocrisy and honesty, knowing when to perform the role ThunderClan needs and when to let the truth slip through the cracks. To some, she is an actress -- polished, political, untouchable. To others, she is painfully real, shaped by guilt, love, and mistakes she refuses to forget. Foxleap is at her most authentic when she is trying hardest not to be, balancing ceremony and sincerity in a way that makes her both admired and quietly fragile.

96 Moons - They/Them ThunderClan's most senior healer, Raintansy has never known a life where they did not train to serve their Clan. With a deep fascination for plants of all kinds, they have a deep ambition to improve on the Clan's medical prowess and eradicate diseases previously thought impossible to cure. That's not the only thing they wish to eradicate, however - faced with the injustice of the Clan system, Raintansy has vowed that one day, they will reform the Clans under the banner of democracy and freedom, StarClan and the Code be damned.

Skyhunter

115 Moons - He/Him As ThunderClan's trusted healer and being among the most senior members of the council in terms of service, Skyhunter has come a long way from the cat he once was. Once Rattlefang, he was a vicious young warrior, leaping into every fight and making rivals out of cats from every Clan. As a healer, though, Skyhunter's loyalty and protectiveness over his Clan shines. His gift is with healing, and he can always be found caring for the sick and injured with a soothing, rasping mew. Harsh as he may be at times, Skyhunter has become a thoughtful and kind advisor to his Clanmates, though troubled by the stars well beyond his paws and the divides of Clan and Clan, cat and cat.

Lavenderdream

138 Moons - They/Them Lavenderdream was always the angel. Kind to everyone, they treated everyone with love and respect. Though they sought peace more than anything, with any kind of conflict causing them to panic. In fact, a lot of things lead them to be nervous, yet all they desire is to be the brave cat others seem to think they are. Settled in as a healer, it’s hard to remember a time where Lavenderdream wasn’t one! It was like they were born to be one, as their knowledge on herbs and their love for the clan knows no bounds. With their kit, Fawnfluff, graduated and now a warrior, Lavender feels like they are content with what life has given them… for now. They can’t help but wonder if anyone will come to shake their life up for the better.

Lunarlynx

122 Moons - She/They/It/Xe Hear a cat chatting your ears off in the ThunderClan Healer’s Den? That must be Lunarlynx! Born outside the Clans alongside her beloved siblings, she found her way to ThunderClan as a young warrior and was chosen as a healer apprentice a few seasons later. Despite the hardships healers face, xe always keeps a smile on xer face, and both annoys and entertains friends with xer dramatic nature. While she can certainly be a lot, one thing is for sure, the healer’s den is a much brighter place with her in it.

Amurspark

64 Moons - She/He Finally, after moons and moons full of self-doubt, hesitation, and anxiety, Amurspark has earned her name and her title as a full healer of Thunderclan. While her nerves still remain, the healer is in better control of her doubts and has stepped up to the plate to protect her clan and her loved ones. His persistence and drive is unquestionable, and his keen skills of observation make him skilled at finding and diagnosing injuries and herbs. No matter what comes his way, he will be prepared. Skyhunter believed in him, and now he will believe in himself.

Chiffchaffpaw

17 Moons - He/Him Look at that cute little face. Look at those cute little paws. Look at that cute little tail. Chiffchaffpaw is all around really cute and loveable, because... just... look at him! Chiffchaffpaw is incredibly kind, friendly, and polite to every cat who crosses his path, regardless of history or status, and he greets every cat with a smile. That being said, Chiffchaffpaw struggles to voice his own opinions; he would much rather keep his feelings to himself if it means protecting that "cutesy, darling" persona he's built up so strongly. He desperately wants friends and to be liked, and he thrives in positive attention, but he gets easily discouraged when social endeavors don't go his way. Clearly, he just needs to try harder... right?

Daybreakpaw

18 Moons - She/They Doing everything she can to take care of her clanmates and be like the healers she admires, Daybreakpaw is trying to keep up with the pace she set for herself from the beginning of her apprenticeship. Keeping up a warm smile and cheerful tone to lighten up the atmosphere around her, but the longer she keeps this going the more it begins to falter. They don’t stop and don’t mention it all, after all there’s cats that need their care don’t they? The caracat will keep sharpening her skills and senses, all in the yearning to become the best healer she can for those she holds dear.
