"Regret is painful. If I have to feel this way, I'd rather never do anything again"
-Sleepy Ash of Sloth (Kuro)
I just realized that Mahiru and the Servamps have one thing in common...

Me *starts a new anime* : The main character looks good. Let's focus on his story and development
My brain : No. Love the side character with hinted angsty past who gets 0.5 seconds of plot line and screentime
Me *ready to suffer once again *: Okay.
Have I mentionned I used to be a Servamp fan (and still am, sort of)?
And that before the anime got out!Â
I discovered the manga when it was translated in french, that is to say in 2013. There were only the first three volumes out at the time. I read them all, and I enjoyed a lot the story. It was mixing three of my favorite things: 1- Vampires 2- The seven deadly sins and 3- The parody of a manga genre.Â
I went up to the 7th volume, but then I stopped, because, volume after volume, it was becoming extremely difficult to find these mangas. At first they were only in one library in my town, then this library closed, and in order to buy them I had to go to the shopping mall of a nearby town, and even there, it was hard to find. Plus mangas are really not cheap in France, trust me.Â
I got back into the fandom when I heard that there was an anime adaptation. I was quite surprised, because for me it was a manga without much popularity (given that in France it was really hard to find). I watched the first episodes, I liked it, I thought that was pleasant... but still, I found that they lacked something from the manga. I don’t know... Maybe a sense of creepiness? Or maybe just an ambiance that was changed... I can’t remember correctly. Anyway, I never finished the show, because of studies and exams.
But now I’m back into the Servamp world. So, prepare yourself for some posts. Probably.Â
Chiharu and Kuro for Viiburnum . I absolutely fell in love with these two.Â
