passion fruit: (describe my (artistic) style) i like my work best when it’s both realistic and expressive, elegant and crude, when my marks and lines stand out in some places but fade into the subject in others. i like realism where i can also see my hand. 

cherry: i once could play some easy classical guitar… i would like to again but i need a guitar. i sing gloriously but only in the car by myself :)

watermelon: i work in a bookstore… my job title would be bookseller or cashier or both.

star fruit: i love moon jellies, they’re so beautiful.. and i love everything about octopuses. i love sea creatures in general so it’s hard to choose.

@septemberlight13 mostly it means I like to be silly.  I always love bonus questions, I love to be chatty!  While I wrestle with download speeds and census pages in the back ground I wait patiently for messages.

It is seriously taking every last ounce of my self-control not to read ahead in To The Sticking Place by @blueink3​. I’m a theater nerd, but I put off reading it, hesitant to explore AUs (and yet “our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt,” Measure for Measure, I.iv).

Now, however, I get to enjoy this fucking stellar story for the first time by listening to the podfic by @lockedinjohnlock-podfics each day. It’s hitting all of my pleasure centers (Johnlock! Shakespeare! The thrill of the rehearsal process!), although the cliff-hangers at the end of each chapter are KILLING me.

Anyway, I highly recommend it. The writing is excellent, the characterizations are spot-on (as are the Shakespeare quotations at the beginning of each chapter -- I knew blueink3 was good, but this is, like, next-level), plus I’ve already gushed at length about how much I adore lockedinjohnlock’s voice. As if all that weren’t enough, the cover art by @septemberlight13​ is gorgeous.

I already decided that I really like this within 10 seconds of it starting. It’s beautiful. Wish it was longer. This is what I call music that’s actually interesting to listen to.

From the video it seems like it’s meant to be a pretty profound and emotional song but I wasn’t feeling it unfortunately ): Maybe I’ve listened to too many songs in a row that I’ve become desensitised, I’m gonna call it a night so I’ll check out your other rec plus also @ruthc93’s and @an-actual-gengar’s tomorrow :D

If anyone’s interested, recently I’ve personally been listening to Big Houses by Squalloscope, and Of A Friday Night by Anais Mitchell, if anyone wants to have a listen to those I’d be keen for your opinions!

@septemberlight13 Blew me Away with her Gorgeous "Sherlock Holmes and John Watson as animals" prints and I shared them like Mad!! I had to wait for a while before I could indulge myself in these Beauties but I am So Thrilled with all of them!!
