Listen to the Cries of the Planet- Sephiroth Week
For Sephiroth Week 2025, Day 7 (Howl)!
Ambrosia. Sweet ambrosia. Glowing threads of pulsing green feeding into his flesh. Giving strength and power.Â
The planet screamed, and it was music to his ears. Her shattered remains a testament to his victory, her spilled blood floating above his head like a crown.Â
It was not death, but a homecoming. And he welcomed every drop of the lifestream, merging into his veins, gifting him ascension.Â
There was no more loneliness to be had, for he was now everything. He was eternity.Â
He was free.Â

The Truth (Art + Flash Fic)- Sephiroth Week
For Sephiroth Week 2025, Day 6 (Broken)!
Was I merely a ‘creation’ to him?Â
Sephiroth sat down on the library floor, book clutched in frozen hands. He’d lost track of time. Whether it had been hours, or days, or even weeks, he had no idea. Most of the library’s contents were piled on the floor as he’d read and read and read, non-stop, consuming every word that came from their pages.Â
Even though it had been years, when he’d been so young that most human’s memories were hazy, he could remember that man with crisp, impeccable clarity. An old scientist, the only kind face he’d known in the labs. Holding his hand, which had once been so small, to guide him to tests he always failed. Smiling warmly, comforting him and secretly offering little toys away from Hojo's prying eyes. The only place in the world where Sephiroth could be safely vulnerable.Â
And then, he disappeared. And tests to speak to the planet became centred around taking the lives of its denizens, at Shinra’s command. Communication and harmony gave way to bloodshed and violence. Sephiroth never allowed anyone to see his tears, but very quickly, he had to learn not to shed them at all.Â
Why did you leave me... the book fell from his limp fingers. To Sephiroth, Professor Gast had been the one kindness in his early life. The closest thing to a parent he’d ever known. But to Gast... he was merely the specimen of Project S. One that he abandoned upon understanding that the experiment was a failure, and the once wondrous specimen he’d nurtured was no longer of importance to him.Â
Why did his eyes sting so? Why did his heart feel so heavy?Â
Why... why did you die...?Â
