Miyagi telling Sendai that the type of dog she sees her as is a borzoi is so funny. Having one girl imagine the other girl who is needy and/or eager to please with puppy ears and a wagging tail is a yuri staple. And for most dog breeds you can easily imagine a kenomimi style puppygirl version of them. Like for example blonde girls like Toriko (Otherside Picnic) or Mai (Watanare) are often pictured with golden retriever or yellow lab ears and tail. But the borzoi’s most visibly distinctive feature is its really long snout, which doesn’t really translate well into a kenomimi style puppygirl design, and its ears and tail aren’t super visibly different from other dog breeds. So fan artists who want to accurately depict Sendai as the type of puppygirl that Miyagi thinks of her as have to get a bit more creative with it:
