I know you reblog a lot of fashion posts, so I wanted to recommend the Senegalese brand Tongoro created in 2016 by Sarah Diouf. Unfortunately I can't send pictures or a link on anon, but she has a website and some beautiful pictures (www. tongoro. com/) . She does couture and jewelery, and Beyonce has worn some of her pieces already I believe.
I especially love her facial jewelry, especially the 'Cairo' piece : a straight, gold line spliting the face into two symetrical halves, which Balmain has plagiarized in 2024. I believe 'it 'Cairo' takes inspiration in the traditionnal face painting of the Wodaabe.
