First Park First! Kicked off our 10 site National Park tour with Women’s Rights National Historic Park in Seneca Falls, NY. Park established in 1980 by NPS at site of first Women’s Right Convention in 1848. That’s the NPS flavor we’re on....skipping GI Joe Park and Mount Rushmore. Stayed overnight in #senecafalls across the street from the #elizabethcadystanton park and the corner where the 1848 convention was held. Saying anything was the "first" can take away from earlier efforts by women with different backgrounds.
