Final film was edited in Premier Pro. It was not a solid idea so there are part that was not what I wanted to do. I was running out of time as well. Below is the final film.Â

This is one of the first trials that I did. I uploaded all photos in the iMovie and was not able to get rid of the bad ones with my hand showing. I was experimenting on how the shapes will form and how it will develop. I find the second spiral a bit boring. Also, I didnât include the music yet.Â
I made this before the video posted before this.Â
I tried to edit all the photos in Photoshop so it's aligned but it takes so long and my laptop keeps hanging up. Photo above is a screenshot of the iMovie for this clip.Â
Stop Motion Animation Draft
Set up..
My set up is on our dining table because itâs the only space in our house that I can put the tripod on and the platform for the playdough.Â
This is the light source that I am using. It is the light for the dining area so I used it. It is only one side light. The other light i have i still have to figure out how to use it in this set up.
I only have bright food colourings so I have this set of watercolour paint that I havenât use and decided to try it out. I am not sure if it will mold or cause any negative reaction to the play dough but it turns out good. Here it is:Â
I was searching for clay animation similar to what I will be doing and came across this:Â
Mound (2011) by Allison Schulnik
From painting to sculptures and films she uses weird looking figures. They are hauntingly beautiful and the ideas are mostly from people she meets. Sheâs also a dancer which she used for the choreographed moves of the creatures she made in the film. In her Mound film, the changing of colours of the characters and use of white catches my attention. Her technique of using white and the colours coming out.Â

NOT STORYBOARD.Â
These are the things that go in my mind when I listened to the guitar piece. I put them separately so theyâre better to look at or how I see them on a frame. I havenât decided for the colours yet, but I will incorporate it and give like a story in the music and use it to set the mood. I have yet to experiment.Â
I have looked at geometric shapes, lines, spirals in gif. I also looked at psychedelic arts. They have stunning colours and use of shapes and patterns. These shapes in loop create a âcalmnessâ and makes me focus on the object or watch it longer than I thought.Â
I came across this wonderful painting. It looks like just a mess but I think it looks magical. As the painter describes her artworks opposites unite vibrant and sparkling flows into dark and misty.Â
I can get an idea from this of how color works together. I can mold the clay similar to this. It highlights the music Iâll be using creates different feelings and the flow.
Bird on Flower Acrylic on notebook cover, 2014 Painting by Tanya Shatseva http://www.tanyashatseva.com/abstract/
Example 1 : SHINY by Campos, D.C. & Susser, S.  Materials used: clothes, accessories, footwears, most thing seen on a park/streets  Sound & colour use: In the beginning there were foot steps and a car noise which indicates that the subject is walking on the streets. The use of minimal sound also helped to get to the building sound of climax which excites the viewers. The colours they have use are contrasting on the background which is easier to see. I think the light reflection on the background can be portray as the sun or it took place in the day broad light.Â
Example 2: Life-O-Meter  Materials used: drawn/painted papercuts  Sound use: Conveys emotions, the action of the subject and the sound of the things being used. It also has the characterâs perspective just like in combat video games. in general it uses different camera angle to show the scene.Â
I would probably use paper cuts style similar to this. Â
Example 3: The Fish and The Doll by Orla Wrenz  Materials used: drawn papercuts Sound & Colour use: Melancholy sound in the beginning i think it represents her sad life. In addition, the editing or the framing of the video creates emotions.  Adding the singing part helps to brighten the scene also for me it represents a new beginning or trying out things.  Â
